This was one of the first lip butters I got and I kinda regret spending money on it. The unlucky combination of the chunky glitter and the slightly orangey color looks tacky on me, as if I had tried a product from a children’s make up set. But on some days I find it quite wearable. It’s not horrible but it’s also not my favorite product.

I do love the Revlon lip butter in peach parfait its a beautiful product its beautiful on the lips and gives them a little bit of color. There is glitter in it but very little but it does make your lips glossy as well its consistency is very creamy and not sticky.

After seeing lots of positive comments about this product and looking at swatches for weeks, I picked this up at CVS in the hopes that it would be my perfect everyday MLBB color. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed.
I’ll get the good stuff out of the way first: the quilted packaging is very, very cute. I like that it has a clear window on the top so you can see the color of the lipstick without having to take off the lid. Also, it seems to be totally unscented, which is good for people sensitive to fragrance.
“Peach Parfait” is a peachy nude-pink color with gold glitter – lots of glitter. Lots and LOTS of glitter. Seriously, I cannot overstate this – I really like shimmery lipsticks, but in the right lighting, this makes my lips look like a disco ball.
My biggest problem is with the formula. For something called a “Lip Butter”, I would have expected something more moisturizing and easy to apply. It goes on patchy and takes a few swipes to get decently even coverage, and when that finally happens, my lips have been elevated to the DISCO BALL status mentioned in the previous paragraph. Also, this makes my lips feel oddly tight and almost sore. I half-wonder if I’m allergic to something in this. Wear time is pretty short – only an hour or two – and leaves a bit of leftover glitter around the mouth area.
Also worth noting: the lip butter itself is pretty fragile. When I first bought this, I swatched it on my arm, and pieces of the lipstick immediately nicked off. It’s also unevenly settled in the tube, making the higher end of the lipstick smear all over the rim every time I retract it.
Overall, I guess I just don’t understand the point of this? I can’t tell if this wants to be a gloss, a lipstick, or a lip balm, because it succeeds in being none of those things and doesn’t really have any positive effects on my lips. I won’t be repurchasing, and I’m not even sure if I’ll try to keep using this; lip products shouldn’t make me feel miserable.

I love this Revlon Lip Butter – I’ve seen very mixed reviews about the level of shimmer, but personally I find it more glossy than shimmery/gold.
I really like the Peach Parfait shade, I have pigmented lips so it’s like a tinted gloss on me rather than the pink shade you often see swatched online (it’s not especially peachy in colour), but without the mess of a liquid. I’ve actually started wearing it more frequently than my pricier lipsticks, particularly my Laure Mercier Stick Gloss – the Revlon lip butter has much better staying powder, and no offensive perfume!
I’m a huge fan, and for the price it’s hard to be picky. Great shades, staying power and a lovely product all round.

This was a huge surprise for me. I generally never like peach or coral lip colors. I prefer plums, mauves, and berry shades. But this was on clearance and I wanted something sparkly to tone down a too dark lipstick. This worked GREAT. Also when I used it just as a lip balm it was soft and left my dry lips smooth and full looking. This does have sparkle to it much like Chanel’s Boy…not a dupe but close. I do not use any lip liner when I use this alone…it clumps up with every liner I have tried except a clear reverse liner so I just skip liner all together. This brightens my lips and wears pretty well, about 4 hours.
I have used 2 tubes of this and just bought a third…I never rebuy anything…always looking for new colors and textures. But this little gloss stick I will always keep on hand.

I rarely wore it alone because this has big gold glitter that stands out on the lips when it fades. Peach Parfait on top of nude lipsticks gives the juiciest most luscious lips I’ve ever seen.

I am NC 20 and usually dislike orangey color, but this one actually looks fine on me.

I love this shade with my cool pink, NW10 skin. When I first bought it, I thought it was worthless because the staying power isn’t nearly as good as a regular lipstick. However, for everyday use, I love this. It doesn’t dry out my lips and is the perfect shade to define my lips, look polished, but not bold like a bright red. It’s perfect for work. I can usually wear this through a cup of coffee and then have to reapply. If you don’t drink or eat, it will definitely stay a few hours. This does have glitter in it. You can definitely seem them in the tube, but when you apply they are much less noticeable and give your lips a pop. My only complaint is that when you twist the lipstick up and down, it starts to stick to the side and can push a tiny bit up over the top. By the time you get to the bottom of the lipstick it can be a bit misshaped but still usable. I’m already onto my second tube. This is the first lipstick I’ve had to re-purchase.

I got this shade by chance as a free gift on an Ulta purchase, and let me just tell you that it is the first colored lip product I have ever actually officially used up. It was a great, amazing, neutral shade on me. It was a warm, golden shimmered pink which added a little bit of shimmer to my pigmented lips. It was a sad day when I finally decided to toss this thing! I haven’t yet repurchased because I have no more room in my lip product box, but I keep thinking about how comfortable it was to wear, the easy of application, and just how nice it looked on me. It doesn’t last a super long time because I would describe it as a gloss-lipstick hybrid, so I maybe got 3 hours of wear before I reapplied it. It obviously had transfer as well, but it’s such a gorgeous shade and so comfortable to wear that it was worth it! (It was also easy to apply without a mirror.) If you are neutral or warm toned and fair, I think the amount of shimmer in this is just perfect and looks great on almost anyone. My favorite lip butter that I own by far and I think I just convinced myself to repurchase it… hahah!

This is a lovely soft and balmy lipstick with really pretty color payoff. I think I found this in a Lisa Eldrige video because I would have never found it otherwise. I have to say that this formula and color (peachy/pink with some shimmer) has become one of my favorite go to lip products. I have a drawer full of high end lipsticks (Charlotte Tilbury, YSL, Chanel, Tom Ford) and I can really say this is right up there with all of them. Good job Revlon.

This is my most-used, most-repurchased Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter. I loooooove this GORGEOUS peachy pink shade. I can’t say enough about this, it is simply amazing. It is such a beautiful color and the quality/pigmentation/staying power of this is outstanding. Obsessed!!

This lipstick is great. It was the first lipstick to turn me onto peach/coral type shades and now I am hooked. It does have a bit too much sparkle but besides that its lovely

My go-to everyday lipstick! The color is flattering on my Asian skintone, and I think would really work with most skintones. It is moisturizing and the texture goes on smoothly. There are some sparkles which makes the texture less smooth, but I don’t mind as the sparkles give it a nice touch. The color seems to fade on my after a couple hours. Packaging is cute, but the lip butters don’t twist up and down very consistently. However, for the price you can’t complain! Definitely recommend.

WOW I can’t believe I waited so long to try the revlon lip butters. I am nw20 with freckles for reference and this is my perfect every day “natural look” shade. I love the texture the shimmer which makes my lips look super plump and the shine which makes my lips look succulent! I can wear it sheer or build it up. Honestly I got so hooked on these lip butters that any other lippies I had got tossed into a drawer of no return. HOOKED.

I really love this product! I usually wear matte shades but I really like the way it looks on nude lips. I always wear it on top of Essence “In the nude” lip liner and it looks amazing. I get so many compliments whenever I have it on!

Loved it as soon as I tried it. I own a few of these in different shades and thought I would try this colour for a more natural look. Its perfect for every day but also lovely for a night out too, has a slight shimmer so looks really pretty 🙂

This is my go to lipstick everyday. It suits my complexion wonderfully. The only issue I have is I think they might be getting ready to discontinue it. Anyone know for sure? I have been buying any I can get my hands on. Love it!

It a very nice drug store lip product. It gives lips nice glow and stays for a good few hours on the lips without reapplying. I find the packaging to be very girly too. This colour looks nice with nars orgasm blush.

Love this! It adds a nice peachy sheen to my naturally pigmented lips and basically serves as a nude for me. It’s moisturizing and smells nice. Due to it’s slippery texture, it’s not the most long-lasting lip product, but I wouldn’t expect it to be, since it’s almost a gloss/lipstick hybrid. The glitter in this lip butter can be a little gritty, but it’s not distracting for me. Packaging is cute – jelly-looking quilted tube matches the color of the product. I finished mine in record time since I reached for it all the time. I will repurchase (once I work my way through some of my stash).

Lipstick for lipstick scary cats!
Price: About £8 from Boots (England) but often on a 3 for 2 offers. In Singapore I’ve bought them for about $14 SGD. Not a bad price at all for the quality and colour selection.
Packaging: Love how the lids are colour coordinated to the colour of the lipstick inside and how the top of the lid is clear so you can see the colour of the lipstick. A bit tricky to open at times as the lid is so long that there isn’t much of a base to hold on to whilst pulling the lid off!
Product: These are very moisturising like a lip balm, have a glossy sheen like a lip gloss and have the colour of a lipstick. A great combination of all 3 products in 1!!! Peach Parfait is a great natural colour for me especially when I want to go for the no makeup makeup look as its a MLBB (my lips but better) colour on me. I can see why some people may not be too impressed with Peach Parfait as its quite light and one of the more sheer colours in the range but for a natural look it suits my NC/NW 25-30 skin tone perfectly. It does contain some glitter which I can feel on my lips but its not too irritating
The colour is sheer but buildable. Lasts a good 6 hours depending on eating/drinking habits. Whilst the gloss like sheen may fade after a couple of hours, I find that the colour lasts for quite a few more hours and fades evenly. I only reapply these after I’ve eaten/drunk something otherwise I just let the colour fade naturally.
Not at all drying even when I’ve used it for several days in a row. Great selection of colours and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend especially if you’re not a fan of very opaque lipsticks, like me.
