I’ve been using this for a few months, and I’m happy. I have fine, thin, colour-treated hair. This conditioner adds volume and shine without weighing my hair down. A little goes a long way. The scent is mild and pleasant, and the large pump-top bottle is solid and easy to use. Relatively harmless list of ingredients, and the company is rated cruelty-free by PETA and the folks who hand out Leaping Bunny awards. Yes, that’s a thing. Now you know.

This volumizing coditioner is low on conditioners. My hair is medium length and texture, wavy/curly, and not color-treated. It adds volume and doesn’t leave my hair looking or feeling dry, and it doesn’t destroy my curl. Best of all, it doesn’t irritate my scalp.
One thing I like about this conditioner is that the back of the bottle shows the level of conditioning. Of the four levels, from light condition to deep condition, Root 66 Max Volume Conditioner is level two.
The conditioner is USDA Certified Organic. It contains 100% vegetarian ingredients and there’s no animal testing. It does not contain parabens, lauryl or laureth sulfate, or dyes.

HG conditioner for me. I have long hair that’s fine, usually oily at the roots and dry on the bottom, so finding something that moisturizes without flattening my hair is always interesting.
I use it every other day or so and it pretty much soaks into my hair. This helps keep the ends of my hair from drying out, untangles it easily, and leaves it soft, shiny, and feeling light. My ends are noticeably less dry and I don’t have to fuss around with my hair to give it volume. Pretty much a win all around!

I love this product! You get so much volume after blow drying ur hair (i have long curly hair). It lasts 2 days, not longer though. But with long curly hair, I always have less volume 2 days after washing my hair. However, It didnt moisturize my extremely dry hair much, that’s why i gave it 4 lippies. Maybe I need to get a treatment for that. But I like the fact thats the ingredients are more natural, and it does really give you luscious volume! I wanted to try the shampoo too, bt I cant find it in my country…

I LOVE Giovanni’s Root 66 Shampoo and Conditioner. Especially for the price! I bought them for under $5 each.
I have been using this conditioner for a couple months now. In addition to being Sulfate free it also has NO phthalates, artificial fragrance, dyes or parabens and is 100% organic. I have fine hair that is easily weighed down and become flat and limp… This conditioner is great for adding moisture without weighing my hair down. I wouldn’t call it a deep conditioner, but it’s a lot better then just about any other brand I have tried. Before I started using this conditioner I had a huge problem with my hair tangling. It’s about hip length and the ends would tangle constantly and cause breakage when I had to brush them out. This conditioner has helped with that problem a lot. I do feel like my hair has more strength to it as well. It doesn’t snap as often and there is less breakage overall. I give credit to the horsetail extract (Equisetum Arvense# which is rich in nutrients and silica. Protein, Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B5), Aloe Vera, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) and a ton of real fruit extracts (Vitamin B,C,E) are also in the mix.
The real fruit extracts are what give it a fruity smell. It’s pleasant and not overpowering, but isn’t necessarily my favorite. The smell is minimal to non existent after your hair is dry. It certainly doesn’t linger. So, I have finally found my HG SLS free conditioner!

This is OK, nothing special, I won’t repurchase, I’ll stick w/ the 50/50 balancing conditioner by giovanni instead. Honestly I think they’re almost exactly the same, but the 50/50 doesn’t claim to give any additional volume. While this conditioner doesn’t weigh my hair down, it doesn’t particularly add any volume either.

A good conditioner. I have long, thin hair who need nutrition and hydration, but that hair did not lose volume. I find it hard to find air conditioning, hair from the too nutrient poor lie when wetting is not enough that the ends are confused and pushatsya. This conditioner does its job – untangles and nourishes the hair and makes them shiny but it is quite easy and does not increase the weight of the hair. After that, the air conditioner keeps laying well. I am happy with a combination of shampoo and conditioner Giovanni Root 66.
And another advantage of the air conditioner – Low price of $ 4.93 to http://www.iherb.com. You can get a discount of $ 5 for first purchase by the code WUC013.

I don’t normally buy any product designed to give volume b/c my hair can really poof out so I am usually looking for things to tame it down. But, my hair has recently gotten very damaged from over dyeing and I have been using strong moisturizing conditioners to help. My roots were falling flat so I needed something a little lighter to use on the top of my hair. I remembered I had purchased this a while ago from Marshalls and use other Giovanni products which I love. This was definitely the way to go. I use the heavier conditioners (Giovanni smooth as silk, Joico moisture recovery) on the mid shaft and ends of my hair and then this all over starting from the top. Perfect balance. I think I will be purchasing this again soon b/c I really love it. P.S. It also seems to be making my hair stronger.

I love this conditioner. I have lots of fine hair that tends to get flat and after going through several conditioners, I think I have finally found one that gives me volume. I wanted something that would moisturize my hair but not overdo it. Smells nice, gives volume and makes my hair super soft. My hair has bounce even the next day. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. I am going to buy the shampoo and see if I like it or not.

How could I resist a BOGO? I have oily, fine, colored/highlighted hair. I shampoo daily and normally do not use conditioner.
Recently, I’ve been looking for SLS/paraben free hair products and came across this brand. I picked up almost all of their different lines in shampoos & conditioners.
I love the scent. When I applied it to my shampooed hair, I heard my hair say “aahhhh”. The texture looked like whipped wax and it got me worried, but it instantly melted into my wet strands and went to work. It rinsed very well, too! When I finished blowdrying, it looked great–shiny and full. I normally wash my hair at night and style in the morning. To my delight, it was still full of body the next day! I love this and will repurchase!
