I don’t like that much the texture of this product. It lasts long on my lips though.

It’s very luxurious nice-looking product. Not really good on the lips – no staying powder and very drying, an average product for cheeks – blends nicely, pretty color but the longevity is lacking. Find it very similar to Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick by Maybelline except this one actually smells heavenly (couldn’t stand the smell & taste of Vivid Matte).
Pros: nice smell, beautiful high-quality packaging
So-so: not long-lasting as blush, max 3 hours or so
Cons: too expensive for the results; very drying as a lipstick; bleeds as a lipstick

Currently it’s my favorite blush (It does not work for me as a lipstick – a bit too drying). I have it in number 9 Rose Epicurien but it’s a bit too cool for me, so I’ll repurchase in a different color but I absolutely love how it performs as a blush. It’s easy to blend, it’s quite pigmented (on my fair skin anyway) so I have to be really careful not to overapply. It stays on until I remove it, does not clog my pores, does not irritate my skin. Plus, there is much more product than in a regular cream blush so it lasts a long time. Just perfection. I do have a thing with the packaging. It’s not easy to get the product out when you’re almost out of it but there is still quite a lot of the product in the bottle.

got this when it’s on the sale rack at sephora, in shade 19
i only apply this on my lips, never apply it as a blush
i enjoy the formulation, it feels comfortable on my lips
it’s not long lasting, but i’m not mad about it
there’s a hint of rose scent on this product

I love YSL lip cosmetics. Rouge de Vernis is my go-to, although I admit I find their colour range to be quite limited, and enjoyed their original range.
This new addition I think fills the gap in their offering of matte lip stuff. But at least they did it a good job with it. Here’s my take:
PROs:
– Great matte colours. I think that the range covers many of what people like to wear matte, including bright colours and many nudes
– Cute packaging, always
– Pigmented – one swap can deliver (or not) a pigmented result
– Buildable – I can also use a slight hand for a light tint
– Texture is indeed moussey and creamy, which makes it easy to apply, especially on the cheeks
CONs:
– Like a few have mentioned, you can’t have dry lips when putting this on. It will highlight the flakes, and sit in between your creases. Just a terrible look.
– When I try to apply on lips with clear lipgloss before hand, I guess because it doesn’t adhere to the “base” (your lips), there is no staying power
– Applicator – not sure I like this new trend with the donut on the diamond applicator. I’m not sure if the points is to have less product be pulled out and build on it, but it certainly doesn’t catch enough product and requires to double dip – not overly hygienic
I bought the fuscia #1 colour, which I think looks great on a warm day or when I’m wearing all black. Quite honestly, would use his more for cheeks than lips, but definitely prep your lips and hydrate before using the product. It could work better on others!
Still love YSL! Just wasn’t my favourite

I have extremely dry lips so, most of the time I can only use lip balm.
But when my lips are in good condition, this is what i wear.
Comfortable semi matte but doesn’t dry out at all.
Transfers of course but i don’t mind that. Never used as a blush though.

I like this product. as a blush it is long lasting, creamy, and can be subtle or bright depending on how much you use it. It’s demi-matte on my cheeks and doesn’t dry my skin out. It doesn’t rub off of my phone or if I pat a tissue against my cheeks.
As a lip product, it’s not as long lasting on my lips and becomes drying. It doesn’t smear around on my lips, which is great considering it doesn’t dry down like typical matte lips, and retains a creamy feeling. However, like I said, it does get drying despite feeling so soft and when I use a lip balm to combat the dryness it smears easily. Lasts about 2 hours on my lips without eating (just drinking water). Lasts 30 mins with food. I’d expect the darker colors or less chapped lips would make it last longer.
It’s a luxurious product and makes me feel classy and special, because it’s fun to use. But overall I am sure there are better tints for less price. Perhaps if I wasn’t on such a tight budget (this was given to me as a gift) I would purchase another color but I cannot see myself biting the bullet and purchasing this on my own anytime soon.

I love this, especially as a blush. It doesn’t dry my cheeks and it looks lovely and natural. The scent is soft and very pleasant. As a lipstick it has a beautiful color (#2) and a nice staying power but your lips need to be in really great condition because this clings to dry patches.
Edit: If you put on a bit of lip balm before this the dryness is not an issue. I’ve been using this everyday as a lipstick for a couple of months now and I really like it, so I’m upgrading the overall rating from 4 to 5 lippies.

I’m soooo in love with this product!!! <3 first of all.. I found my signature lipstick shade..and this is no3 which is a very sweet and natural pink. I can wear this at the morning in one layer and very lightly just to enhance my natural lip color and even at night with a more heavy application that makes my lips look fuller and lovely. The finish is matte without drying out the lips and it also feels absolutely weightless. You can wear this as a blush to and it looks very natural and fresh! It is perfect for traveling though...'cause you have 2 in one product. The only downside to it is its staying power especially when you wear as a lipstick.. reapplication is necessery every 2-4 hours. However, it comes off very beutyfully and evenly.. I have this in 3 shades, 03 which is my fave pink, 01 which is a bright fuschia and 04 a fresh orangie coral. I will definitely repurchase.

O how I love this product! I have it in 3 shades, but only 1 of those really does it for me, and that’s number 10. I bought it when I was looking for a nude colored lipstick that would flatter me, which seemed impossible to find. I’ve since come to accept that nudes wash me out, and that, even though my skin is pale, my lips are not, which means that I need to get a much darker tone than I thought to match my natural lip color.
Enter YSL kiss & blush in number 10, nude insolent. It is a tint somewhere between orange and pink, a bit muted, and a fraction darker than my own lip color. And as soon as I put it on I look amazing. It brightens my skin and gives my lips a bit of an accent without looking overly made up. The velvety matte finish is just perfect, not too matte, and also not as gloopy and sticky as normal lipsticks.
Because it’s matte, it does dry out my lips a little, but it does not accentuate dryness. My only problem with this product is the staying power, which is not great. Luckily, the color is such a good match for me that it wears of nicely, without leaving any dark rims or patches (which I hate).
I also wear it as a blush, and it gives me just the most natural looking flush of color.
I loved this lip/cheek color so much that I went back to buy 2 other colors (a bright orangy pink and a deep plum), but they don’t seem to be as great as this one. On the lips, they are harder to apply evenly (they go a bit patchy), and they both seem to accentuate dryness more. They do, however, work just as nicely as blushers, so I’ve been using them for that purpose.
I think this is a product you really have to try before you buy.
