i received a sample of both this and the matching night cream. I had high hopes and i love La Prairie but this cream was not right for me I found the day cream way to heavy . The cream seemed to drag on my skin as i applied it and after three hours my skin still felt and looked oily /greasy so i had to wash it off I also did not like the smell as i am sensitive to smells. If you have very dry skin it would be ok but on oily or sensitive skin not so .
i will try the night cream to see if it is similar. I have come to prefer day creams that readily absorb and have more of a matt look rather than dewy look and feel
I would not spend my money for this cream. sorry la prairie

I am in love with this night cream, not the regular cream the one specifically for night,it’s so buttery and smooth,it plumps skin, and makes it so soft.Ive tried many other moisturizers for night, this is hands down the best I’ve ever tried,I’ll use other least expensive items from NeoStrata that really do work, however I cringe when I have to charge this cream every 10 months on my Nordstrom Card. But I cannot be without this gem.for mature dry skin like mine. This is truly worth it

Yet Another LP Bulshit cream.
Please dont waste your hard earned money on this french (or swiss) cr*p.
nothing but an overly fragranced heavy moisturizer with mica powder for an added “radiance” .
would i buy it for 600+ dollars ????….Hell no!
i wouldnt even buy this crap if it was sold for 60$.
you can be so much more wiser then this.
i cannot belive how foolish i was to spend this much on a jar of such an inferior formulation of junk.
you can use MUCH better things for your skin that would actually produce fantastic results for WAY WAY WAY less of a price.
i am a 49 y\o mother of four that just like you loves skincare and does all i can do to keep my skin in the best shape possible.
i spent so much money on cr*p until i learned what actually works.
i strongly suggest you to not waste your money on this hyped up nonsense.
this moisturizer is is a heavy moisturizer with vasaline and slip agents thats FILLED with irritating plant oils that will only cause irritation to skin and thus to collagen breakdown.
the few good things in it (like the vitamin C and E) will loose their efficiency once the jar is opened and exposed to light or air (as these ingredients are air and light sensitive).
if your looking for a really good rich **Basic moisturizer** that is reasonably priced and has great moisturizing benefits to skin then try the “Obagi hydrate luxw” cream.
it is way superior.
and besides,
there are much better ways to get a true inner skin glow and smooth skin.
if you want a real dewy skin and glowing complexion then you have to invest in a regular ongoing skincare routine and be very dedicated about it.
a routine which consists of ingredients such as ….
Retin-a (which is a doctor prescribed topical drug, but you can also get it online without a doctors prescription)
or Retinol (which does not require a prescription) ** Though Retin-a is preferred over retinol.**
using it ONLY at night along with some powerfull antioxidant serum underneath,
a good daytime anti-aging serum which packs high concentrations of L-ascorbic acid (vitamin-c) along with another multi antioxidant’s and peptides serum on top (such as “SkinBetter Science Alto Defense Serum”).
Alpha-Hydroxy Acid based cream or lotion in the day time above the antioxidant serums.
and DO NOT (and i urge you to not forget!) about a good high Spf sunscreen.
this is MY personal daily skincare routine…..
Night time:
1 – Cleanse face with a Gentle cleanser (i use “murad renewing cleansing cream” for my combo, though dehydrated skin)
2 – Apply retin-a (i use the gel) at 0.1 strength (and then wait AT LEAST 45 minutes before applying anything else on top).
3 – then i Apply SkinCeuticals Resveratrol B E
4 – use the “Paula’s choice clinical ultra-rich soothing body butter” (yes, i know i wrote “body” butter).
this is a FANTASICLLY rich moisturizer that will help sooth skin and combat the harsh side effects that is associated with the usage of retin-a such as redness, peeling or and tight flaking skin that users might experience when using retin-a, (but anyway if you are new to retin-a start SLOW…use the 0.025 and slowly move your way up in the next coming months after that).
Daytime:
1 – Cleanse face
2 – swipe face with Peter thomas roth un-wrinkle peel pads and leave on for about 3 minutes and then rinse with water.
3 – Apply cellex-c advanced c serum (and wait 5 min).
4 – Apply “SkinBetter Science Alto Defense Serum” (a new exciting serum that is BRIMMING with anti-oxidants!)
5 – Apply “skinmedica glypro renewal cream” (high glycolic acid based cream yet gentle and super moisturizing).
BTW: if you are just starting out with glycolic acid, then i would suggest to start with the “Neostrata ultra smoothing cream” or the “Neostrata bio hydrating cream” which has PHA (poly hydroxy acid) instead of AHA and thus is considered less irritating due to its larger molecule size and only then move on to the fantastic glypro cream.
7 – Never forget sunscreen! (esspecially when using this skincare routine!!!) – i personally use the Eltamd clear spf46 or the “Exuviance Sheer Daily Protector SPF 50” if i want a tad of a healty tint glow.
for my eye area i use both night and daytime the “perricone acyl-glutathione eyelid serum” and top it off with a super moisturizing and well formulated eye cream (such as “paula’s choice Resist eye cream”).
and thats about it 🙂
if you do follow these guidelines…you are on the highest road (that skincare can provide) in the battle against aging.
and i promise you…
you will have the most glowing skin ever.
good luck guys.

Its okay, nothing special, definitely not worth the price!! I wanted to try a high-end cream to see how much better it was to my dior totale, it’s not better! yeh, you get a shine, but not a 500.00 shine!! I like dior, lor de vie .that’s wonderful!! I really like that. but this doesn’t impress me at all for the price tag

Even as a broke medical student i am considering saving and buying this full size-yeah it’s that good. I always keep samples in my bag in case i get dry/flaky skin. Well the last few weeks I have been having an allergy attack (to who knows what) and my skin is itchy and was getting dry and flaky in patches. I didn’t want to put hydrocortisone on my face so i pulled this out. It completely soothes the itchiness and got rid of the flakiness that even pure cold cream or german nivea or pure olive oil slathered on couldn’t defeat. For the price I wish it cured cancer or something, but It still is a life saver my skin looks great and it soothed the irritation like nothing else could.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have many deluxe samples of this cream. I generally use the Skin Caviar Luxe Cream (and the rest of the Skin Caviar line), but I love the look of Cellular Radiance products for special nights out. While I don’t feel the Cellular Radiance line has half as many actual skin care benefits as their other lines do, the cream leaves my skin glowing and healthy looking. It’s amazing what a little light reflection can do! I don’t imagine I will ever buy a full-sized jar of this cream, but I have purchased a full-size Cellular Radiance Eye Cream. I feel that’s where I benefit the most from its reflective properties.

Oh My god amazing cream for face.. The BEST EVER… Worth the money.. Absolutely stunning.. Your face will glow…AMAZING..

Yes, it’s very expensive. It feels so good that it’s hard to not use too much. I’ve been using it exclusively for almost ten years. I always shock people when I tell them my age — pushing 60. They guess anywhere from 35-40. My husband hates it when I order it (I get it online for a lot cheaper than at the store.) But I tell him, “A few hundred every couple of months or cough up $15k for a face-lift!”

I tried a sample of this and lets just say that I’m in love with this cream. The first day I tried this on with the radiance serum (no foundation) and I got so many compliments from strangers saying that my skin was glowing and was looking so healthy. I was super impressed and of course if I had the money I would buy this in a heartbeat. This is pure luxury but it also has many added benefits namely hydrations, anti-aging, and makes your skin glow. It also smells great. I’m not buying the full size jar because I prefer my Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate paired with the Bobbi Brown Extra Balm (for night), and for the day i prefer my Clarins sunscreen paired with the La Prarie Caviar Cristalline Concentrate.
