I rarely use shampoo with sulfates but this is an exception. It cleanses thoroughly and leaves hair very smooth, detangled and supple. After it dries my hair smells wonderful, is shiny, smooth, moisturized and manageable. I am definitely a hair product snob and this whole line gets an A+! 🙂 Works better than Keritinase.

I used to love this Shampoo and Conditioner! I used it for 2 months and all of a sudden, my scalp started developing a rash that would itch and hurt for days after I washed my hair, and I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. I’m not surprised as there is so much fragrance in this product line, no wonder it’s irritating. Also, I started losing so hair, the more I used this product. I had to eliminate hair products to finally zone in on this one, which was the culprit. I was so disappointed, because I love all of the Suave products. I will be switching to a less fragranced Shampoo and Conditioner. Something that isn’t so harsh on my scalp.

I typically buy drugstore shampoo, though on occasion buy salon brands or stuff from Sally Beauty. I have to say this is a pretty good shampoo, and it’s cheap. I had initially purchased a travel for a trip, and was pleasantly surprised, I actually liked it more than my regular shampoo. It’s that perfect balance of cleansing without stripping the hair or over drying. I use the conditioner as well and my hair looks great with little effort. I had brushed off suave for years because back in the day such dirt cheap brands were typically of poor quality. They’ve really upped their game with this one.

It’s a decent shampoo – not good or bad. Suave products tend to work well with my hair more than other brands so I’m not disappointed but it didn’t do anything spectacular, either. Smells incredible, though…kind of like a weirdly pleasant mixture of musk and fresh laundry lol. It’s pretty strong and it lingers, and it’s really the only reason I’d keep using this shampoo, because Suave’s Almond + Shea Butter shampoo outperforms in terms of smoothness and softness.

In the past I have spent a rediculous amount of money on products. Bought this for my husband (I get him regular stuff) I was out of my $40 a bottle product, used the shampoo and conditioner one day and loved it. My hair is fine and color treated and I have hard water (well water no softner.) I am picky about my hair! Thank goodness for this product it is perfect and saving me lots of $$$. Thanks Suave for making something great and affordable. I just couldn’t believe it.

I am a fan of Suave products and I typically use their Daily Clarifying shampoo. I have thin, oily hair, and I read a blog post somewhere that said this shampoo allowed a user with oily hair to go a few days without washing. I figured this was too good to be true, but tried it anyway. This shampoo left my hair looking really thin, even when I tried to put volume in it while styling. It also left sort of a greasy residue right at the top of my head toward the back. The pro is that it’s really affordable, but I’ve also tried the Tresemme keratin-infused smoothing shampoo and I got much better results, so it’s worth spending the extra $4 or so if you can.

I’ve used a lot of shampoos over the years, never sticking with one for very long. Well, I’ve been using this consistently for 3 years now. I seriously love it that much. My hair is long but super thin/fine, oily but prone to dryness with certain shampoos. This does a good job of getting my hair clean while keeping it moisturized at the same time. After rinsing it feels as soft as if you had just rinsed out conditioner. I haven’t experienced any issues with buildup although I do clarify once or twice a week. Using this with a Suave Naturals conditioner makes my hair looks the best it ever has.

I would give this 0 stars if I could.
This shampoo made my hair fall out more than usual. It was especially terrible after shampooing. It was so gross to have to collect so much of my hair from the hair catcher that I have over my shower’s drain. My hair has really thinned out since using it.

I really wanted to like this, I really truly did. It worked great the first few washes and then it just made my hair really dry and coarse. It felt so rough just touching my hair after a while. In the beginning it made my hair feel super healthy but it did make my roots super greasy. I tend to wash my hair every other night and sleep on it damp, so the morning of the second day my roots looked disgustingly greasy and my ends were disproportionately dry.It does however have some perks.
PROS: My hair felt healthier and thicker, it smells great, it lathers well, I didn’t lose as much hair as I normally do in the shower, fairly cheap all things considered; I bought mine for about $2.40 a bottle at Target
Cons: eventually it dried out my hair, left my roots too greasy if I didn’t wash every day and the ends too dry, didn’t help the frizz, some days it actually made it worse, doesn’t hold down frizz is +60% humidity days, and the smell doesn’t last very long
Apparently I have type 1c-2a hair so I don’t worry too much about frizz unless it’s summer because it tends to get frizzy and dry in the humid months and the ends look awful. I don’t make a fuss about my hair, historically I’ve washed at night, slept on it wet, and was ready to go in the morning without having to style (sometimes I didn’t even need to brush my hair) and it looked shiny, healthy, and great. I missed all of that with prolonged use of this. This is not an everyday wash. I’d only buy it again if my hair was really unhealthy and needed a keratin boost once every week or so. For now I’m putting the half finished bottles under the sink and might use them once in a while for, like I said, a keratin boost.
Also as a side note, I had a bottle of Tresemme Keratin Smooth in my house and compared the ingredients. They’re essentially the same but I got better results with Tresemme. There’s a little food for thought if you’re wondering which to drop money on.

I found the scent pretty repulsive. Not at all pleasing
