Overpriced garbage. Touted by Shoppers Drug Mart as a great cover-up priced at $56. It actually does the opposite of what its supposed to do. It breaks up into minuscule powdery chunks that settle into the pores and all the lines of your face, so that it rovides no coverage while heightening the look of the pink spots on your skin contrasting them starkly against all the clogged pores and lines that now stand out due to the white splotchy product. I remember once I bought dollar store stuff that looked like this. An $11 cover girl cream cover-up provides more consistent coverage than this. I tried to give it another shot and put it on differently moisturized skin but the effect is the same. I would add a picture if i knew how because its just a comically cheap looking product once applied. Its amazing what gets peddled as “quality” by this company. I basically got tricked out of $56.

I bought this after watching Thattaylaa’s review. I get oily as the day goes on. The first one was too light, the 2nd too dark. So I mixed them. That seemed perfect until later in the day it would look like a grey cast because it was too pink. This stuff breaks down on me even with powder once in the morning and again mid-afternoon. I put it on around 5:45 am for work and take my makeup off around 6:15 pm when I get home from work. Looks beautiful when first applied, not so good a couple of hours later. I had to get used to how little to use. At first it would get super cakey so I applied less and less. Then my dark areas would show through. So I would use a little more color corrector (peach) and then that would bleed through later in the day. As I mentioned earlier, it was too pink. My other foundations looked too yellow. So now I mix this with Loreal Pro Matte, Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless as well as the Dewy and Smooth. Some I wear in winter so they are lighter and some in summer so they are darker. So far, so good with mixing…Yay!!!! 🙂 Not so great on its own…booooo! 🙁 For the price, it is not worth all this trouble. If you haven’t returned or thrown yours away and have similar problems, try mixing it with other foundations. So that is why I give it 2 lippies because if mixed with other foundations, it is really nice! But I can’t wait until this is all used up. I didn’t return it because I bought it online and wanted to make it work so bad. When it didn’t work, it was too late. So now I am playing chemist to use up what I have left which is quite a bit. (sigh….)

This is meant to cover tattoos and scars. My tattoos showed right through, the colors are horrible, they are all super pink and dark. You have to put super thick layers on just to cover, it looked like I had splotches of caladryl lotion on because it was so pink. There was no skin color to it at all. The only good thing about it is that it’s waterproof and doesn’t rub off easily, and you get a lot of it in the bottle, as you should for the price, it’s overly expensive. But what’s the point if you can’t even wear it anyway?

Love this! I don’t need heavy coverage but I like a good medium/full coverage. This smoothes on like a dream with a lovely light texture and sets to a satin matte finish. Feels so light on skin for the amount of coverage. I used to like Revlon colorstay whipped but it felt so heavy and sticky on my skin. It’s pricey at $42 CAN but well worth it.
Note: I forgot to mention I wear this over a matte primer. Goes on much smoother over primer.

I love this foundation ! First time using it today after seeing a review on this by “thataayla” on YouTube. I have combo skin, t zone gets oily but everywhere else seems dry. This foundation was gorgeous ! It has a satin finish, almost slightly dewy. I set it with powder. The lasting power was amazing. throughout the day I got slightly dewy as I normally do but not oily. this foundation didn’t break up on any areas. I wore it for 6 hours today, I will wear it for 10 hours on work days and update my review. I love this stuff. It blurred out every pore on my nose somehow !!! I’ve never had a foundation go so smoothly over my nose. It had a soft focus effect everywhere else too it made my face overall so smooth. The finish is not cake at all. I applied with a damp real techniques sponge. I couldn’t stop staring at my skin today I loved it. I’m going to try it with my milani make it last setting spray on a work day and see how long I can get it to last. But my first impressions so far are that I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION.

To be honest, I not very impressed.
The shades are hard to pick from unless you go to their website first and read about the colors. I thought Sepia was the one that matched me best but it was actually too light when blended out. I went with chestnut which I would have thought would have been too dark but it was a good match.
This covers my blemishes pretty well but the scars that are left over that are reddish purple in color still peak through, very weird.
If I apply this all over it is a little heavy feeling and it can accentuate pores so you really need to play with it to get the right amount because it is easy to use too much, you only need a little.
Right now I am actually just using it as a concealer and then lightly buffing into my skin so that it blends out well. This is working better for me than applying to my whole face and I love how it looks on my skin this way. I use my ELF mineral powder brush which is small and perfect for spot concealing and blending, I pick up a very small amount on the tips of my brush then tap into areas I need to conceal and lightly buff into the skin for even coverage, for all over application I apply to my face then use my ELF flat top powder brush.
I then set with powder (I tried my regular powder and the DermaBlend).
It looks pretty good most of the but I felt like I got shiny quickly. I also noticed that it broke down and slipped around a bit in some places and in others my blemishes were showing again within 3 hours of application. I am pretty disappointed considering the price.
The color does match my skin pretty well but due to the price, I will not be repurchasing this. If the price worked out for using it in the manner that I am by spot concealing and setting then it might be worth the higher price tag but since it cannot last longer than my colorstay I will have to pass.
As for being a great foundation, I prefer Revlon whipped and think those who have found a colorstay shade that matches you well you should probably stick with that.

I’ve tried so many full coverage foundations for oily skin. In my experience you end up with one of two results: Perfect face allmost all day but the product feels like glue on your face and you are constantly aware of its presence.
Alternately you have a perfect face in the morning, but by noon to 2 any makeup within your T zone is melting and mixing with the excessive oil produced by your face.
This foundation is a happy medium between the two extremes. It goes on with full coverage and looks flawless. It’s so light you don’t even remember you’re wearing foundation. With proper priming I’ve gotten it to last into the evening which is almost unheard of for my skin. As it’s full coverage (not medium like the package says) you do need to spend time with your contour and hilight or your skin will look completely washed out. Color range is good too. I use #30N Camel and #10N Creme to make the perfect match.

I really like this foundation a lot. I’ve been using it for the past 3 years or so. I have some hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, as well as some small broken capillaries on my face (mostly on my left side, even though I sleep on my right side, but I digress…). I also work long hours & this foundation covers up my flaws & doesn’t budge throughout my day. My only complaint is I wish they made a version for dry skin, because the way it is, it’s definitely more suited to oily skin, IMO. My skin is very dry, so I put on extra moisturizer before applying this.
It’s a very thick formula, so a little bit goes a long way! If you apply too much, it looks cakey & gross. So it’s better to start out with a little & if you feel like you need more, build it up. Also, make sure your face is exfoliated very well, because this will definitely cling to & highlight any dry/flakey areas & will look awful. I apply this with my fingers (oh the humanity) & then blend out with a damp beauty blender to get rid of any streaks & smooth it out. I have their finishing powder too, which I love, but I don’t really need it because my skin is dry. However, I do find when I use their finishing powder in addition, it makes my face look absolutely flawless, so I use that for special occasions only. 🙂
Over the past year, I’ve had the joy (sarcasm) of developing dermatitis & rosacea on my face. When I have outbreaks of those, I don’t use this. It’s just makes it look worse, so keep that in mind if you have either of these issues or something similar.

I’ve been using this for about 2 years now. The most important thing and what keeps me coming back to this product is that IT DOES NOT BREAK ME OUT. And every foundation I have ever tried does. It’s medium coverage & dries to a satin finish when applied to my beauty blender. The shades are alright. I was using copper which is kind of too pinky and i recently moved to cafe which is a little orange but looks much better. On my t zone it does look really shiny after application, but setting powder helps. I used to hate this foundation because I would apply to much. It would settle into my fine lines and just look like a greasy mess but fixing my application has really helped. Bottom line, the ingredients are perfect for acne prone skin and the coverage is great for someone who has had problematic skin.
