This is what I wished my skin looked like! It is very beautiful, goes on thinly but dries to a light cream feeling. It smooths and brightens the skin, it has no discernible shimmer or anything yet it glows and looks natural too!
Super duper fine texture, no pooling cakiness or separation. Covers light-medium. Can build it up without it looking like makeup. I think it is a far better product than Lingerie de Peau but colour range is not good. It does contain fragrance.
Shocking exterior material! This is not cute-looking as I expected with this set. I love this when I buy jewelry but it is simple and there’s a nice thick touch and the wispy side reminds me of something from the classic 1980s routine. Lovely texture, soft and easy to apply. Definitely got it.
Its about 6cm high with a small cushion on the bottom and perfect texture with a tint.
Ohh yes, I was pleasantly surprised!! Thank you so much Lingerie! This is like sitting on my back and using a large soft hunk of liquid to gel down my nose without feeling anything that was dry. It looks good on me 🙂
The only complaint I might have with it is that it is not 10w big enough to brush on. Let me tell you with your experience on ‘Lingerie de Peau’ it’s not so big if you have to brush all the way down or not. You are still certainly not too sure with how to describe this product.
So my first impressions when I purchased this set. The skin looks great, it’s thin and creamier than previous Pink postions I’ve had. The formula on top is actually pretty ok, clumsily applied soap that is also very strong and fair. It will go on oily skin and in general hardens later and fades much more easily. You really need to be careful with this product though as it gets hard to put on or it will fade out of your skin during use. I get a really nice dark dome when I have sex with it so I have to be careful and adjust accordingly. However if you feel like putting it on its own its highly recommended.
Perfect combination of very nice texture and extremely strong grip, it’s very easy to apply.
Lots of good! Kinda like girly smirk or anything else you find cute.
Here are some reviews on Lingerie de Peau on Change Blog:
Yes, I know most are recommending this glittery plum first, but hey look out for my understated contouring! Let me know what you think on the comment section so I can totally see what you think. Or you could tell me if it wasn’t delivered, love it! I would definitely recommend this for a swatch or two if you want to give this a try. Thank you so much for giving it a try! WOW!! I was

Great foundation! The color range is wide enough for everyone to find the perfect match. I also bought the lingerie de peau, but I like this one so much better. It goes on smoothly, evens out perfectly and feels like second skin.
One negative comment: it does not last all day. The coverage kind of disappears throughout the day which is a pity.
One reason why it is so good is because I love my custom mattresses. I really like how they have a thin matt seam and on top of that they are nice and soft.
Although for this reviewer, “desired” means “right”, I appreciate how this review was based on my daily obsession with my leggings and they really changed my opinion of them from day to day. My favorites being the wearable and the price of the pillow.

This quite amazing. I’ve been using the Lingerie de Peau but got a sample of the Parure de Lumiere because my skin has been dry and I needed something a little more silky in texture. I was so wowed by the sample that I went out and purchased the full bottle.
I was really afraid that this would look heavy on my skin, but it does not. It amazingly manages to give very nice coverage without being visible on the skin. It makes my skin look perfected and polished. The texture is very silky and it just glides on the skin. There is a scent, but it’s pretty mild and dissipates quickly.
I got this in the color No. 2. It is a PERFECT match for my skin tone, a very nice neutral beige-like color. It just blends in perfectly with my skin tone. I actually think this is the best color match of any foundation I’ve ever used.
Oh, and it has a nice SPF.
If you have oily skin, I don’t think you will like this, but for those of you whose skin tends to run dry, and especially for us older gals who look hideous with heavy makeup on, please be sure to check this out. I think you’ll really like it.

Really pretty finish, nice consistency and feel. It’s quite glowy. I tried a sample and I won’t buy the full size because I find it unnecessarily expensive.

This is an excellent foundation for dryish, mature skin. The formula is light, and buildable, without looking cakey or heavy, yet manages to cover all imperfections. This is probably the ONLY foundation I’ve ever tried that didn’t settle into my fine lines and pores immediately. I blended with fingers, and got lovely coverage. In fact, got two separate compliments on my complexion the first day I wore it!. It’s so difficult to find a foundation for dryish skin, not to mention large ports and fine lines, but this works like a charm. it diffuses lines and pores, and is luminous, which means it doesn’t come off as flat or mask like. It lasted a full 12 hours on me, and I didn’t notice any oxidation at all. I didn’t notice any bothersome odor, either. The price is high, but IMO, it’s very worth it. I got the lightest color…I wasn’t sure it would work because I’m fair (MAC N4), but the color was perfect. I also appreciate the pump bottle. I think I’ve finally found my HG foundation.

This is great for dry skin using a beauty blender. However, this does not withstand canadian winters. But for me it was great during the summer since I have dry skin and it gives me the moisture that I need. I just wish they had more color selection. It is also long wearing and it does not cake since I used the BB.

so this is my favourite foundation….I’ve manage to grab 2 bottles for the price of one , shade 03 Beige naturel…it has a distinctive yellow undertone and it is perfect for my yellowish NC 35 skin….I’ve never experienced putting on a foundation with such ease, letting it glide over my face and spreading it like a very fine cream…usually the thickness or runnyness makes my foundation ritual a bit complicated cause sometimes it doesn’t spread well or it gets streaky if wrong tools are being used (I usually use my fingers cause they warm the foundation the best and results are optimal)…this foundation simply doesn’t take more than 4 seconds to spread on the face and it is magical to work with…the shade oxidizes a little bit which is fine by me because I mainly use it in the night (when going clubbing), and during the day I look maybe a bit too orange with it after it oxidizes….it’s expensive, yes, but people, it’s Guerlain….if I believe in great masters of foundation I believe in Lancome,Shiseido and Guerlain….the bottle looks so beautiful, and has a practical little pump integrated….love this foundation and would recommend it for combination and normal skin….Dry skins, try before buying it, IMHO it could emphasize dry spots and places on the face!!

Received a sample of this foundation. It’s recommended for dry sensitive skin.
Cons:
1. It smells gross like plastic and heavily floral/playdough. Smell does fade once foundation is set.
2. This foundation does oxidize – the shade 03 would be perfect for my complexion but does oxidize a shade or two darker/warmer (orange like)
3. Limited Shades
4. $66 CAD
Pros:
1. Works well with dry skin, no flakes, blends/mends into skin well, luminous and long wearing
2. Need only one pump for medium coverage – build able coverage.
For reference: NC25-30, 32 MUFE F&B, Chanel Vitalumiere 010, YSL TE BD50 and Dior 021 Linen.

Bought this in the summer and liked it but not overly impressed. Recently I bought BareMinerals and didn’t like it. So I went back to my Guerlain and loved it! I think the colour for summer was too light but now since it’s November and winter like, the colour is fine – 02, Beige Clair. It feels great on my skin – like any foundation though, you need a good moisturizer underneath. I have very dry skin and some redness from Rosacea so I’m always on the look out and I would buy this again. The challenge is that it’s very expensive – $70.00 is a steep price. If I can find something similar that is less expensive, I’ll give it a go. But this will always be in the back of mind for a repurchase. I just wish there were more options for colour. I like that this has SPF20 as well.

This foundation is gorgeous. For one, this foundation is actually very moisturizing, which makes it good for us dry skin girls and guys too. The most perfect thing about Guerlain’s Parure de Lumiere is that it actually looks SOOO natural, more than any other foundation out there. BUT, it is very common that the foundations made for dry skin typically don’t wear well after a normal 9-5 work day, but this foundation doesn’t do that.
I need to mention: the finish it gives on the skin. IF you can picture it in your mind, it gives that delicate and stunning ‘English Rose’ look.. Basically, it is a semi-dewy foundation.
Sooo, why did I give the product 4 stars instead of 5? Because Guerlain’s shade range SUCKS. It’s very limited and not organized at all. I used 02 Beige Claire, which I use in all other Guerlain foundations, but the Parure has a pink undertone. I’m probably gonna grab 01 Beige Pale and 03 Beige Naturel to give me the best shade match, but it’s too expensive.
For NW18~NW20 girls, 02 Beige Claire is the right choice for you.

I went to Nordstrom (November 2015) with two foundations on my mind. Something from YSL or something from Guerlain. I went to Guerlain and asked to be color matched. Parure de Lumiere was my final decision. What a fantasic decision! This is beautiful, coverage for my 51 year old skin. Not heavy. Not cakey. Not greasy. Hydrating. Comfortable. No creasing. Perfect skin tone match. I also purchased the primer, light pink pearls. Perfecting meteorites I believe. (Review coming.) This is a beautiful primer. First one that did what it said it will do. I am not done with this line. I plan on the compact metorites powder next. I have purchased the beige pearls two years ago and still going strong on those. I use those every day. If you are middle aged lovely, and you are struggling with your foundation, you really need to go see the experts at Guerlain and get a sample at least. Before you waste more money trying to get it right! I always research my foundations and powders (and skincare!) to make sure I’m getting what “I” want. Not was the sales associate thinks I should have in the 30 seconds spent with me. Best wishes!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS. i have dry skin and this doesn’t collect in dry spots and seems to actually be moisturizing. it looks really good and dewy and honestly looks super natural on my skin. i adore it. i’m running out and i’m definitely repurchasing, even if the price is insane. one bottle lasted me nearly a year so i don’t mind spending 60 dollars a year on foundation, especially if it’s this amazing!!
bubblyMare1
This is an AMAZING foundation.
The thing I love about guerlain’s foundation is the coverage isn’t much in one layer but it’s very build-able and it will NOT get cakey no matter how much you layer on. I love the way this hides perfections like scars and blemishes, and gives me this healthy, natural radiance. My HG of foundations. THE BEST.

Nope. Greasy, strongly scented and sinks into pores. I bought this, since a Shoppers rep recommended it for winter with sensitive, combo skin that needs a lasting finish. It’s in a rediculous, heavy glass jar that’s unsanitary and a pain to travel with. The dated rose smell is unsettlingly strong and lasts for hours. It’s also obscenly expensive. The worst part? With any water, it runs down your face like white milk. Forget stepping outside in any kind of drizzle, light snowfall, etc. I need a foundation that won’t let me down with embarassment.
mereDotterel7
This is a luxurious foundation, but for some reason, I find it a bit heavy. I prefer lingerie de Peau which is more sheer, looks more natural..Parure is good for dry skins, if you like a foundation that is creamier.rhe texture is great,so are the colors. I might keep mine for our harsh Canadian winters, but for now, feels a tad too heavy.
cockyLizard6
I recently got combo/slightly dry skin so I definitely needed a new foundation.
This is a medium to full coverage foundation that has a heavy scent and a tacky feel upon application. It stays on for a fairly long time but it’s too thick on my t-zone and undereye area.
thriftyBurritos9
I looove this foundation, it makes my skin look flawless and so perfect, applies really easy and smells fantastic. The cream consistence is just a dream to work with, the packaging so luxurious and the most important: lasts all day either in hot or cold conditions,a must for me!

ETA: I didn’t see this was the ‘cream’ one see my review for the liquid
My newest addition to my collection of ‘caskets’, the morbid description my husband uses to describe Guerlain foundation/primer bottle shape. Moisturizes!!!! Luminous!!! For dry days. Better coverage than lingerie dr peau but not as much as parure extreme. Winter staple.

My favorite foundations are by Guerlain (Parure Gold and Lingerie De Peau) but after much consideration I decided that I didn’t like this one. The Parure Lumiere offers a little more coverage than the LDP if you are speaking about one thin layer, however the LDP is much more buildable. The PL tended to sit like a gel on top of the skin, and it’s very shiny. I tried using a bit more of my translucent powder to set, but it didn’t really help the problem. I tried this on humid days as well as non-humid days with the same result. The shade range runs just a tad lighter than LDP and quite a bit lighter than the Parure Gold. All of the Guerlain tend to oxidize a little on me, so keep that in mind when you are swatching. I would choose the LDP over this foundation. It’s just dewy enough to look nice, and it’s got buildable coverage.

Probably the best foundation I ever used.
I have light coloured skin and I am mostly Asian (maybe 75%-85% genes). I am using 02 Beige Clair. It’s a bit lighter than my complexion in summer when I have a light tan, but it’s beautiful and blends perfectly.
I am using the Moisture and Comfort version, which is the one in a little jar as opposed to the pump bottle.
The first thing you will notice is the very gorgeous and stylish jar it comes in. It has a very luxurious feel. It’s heavy and beautifully shaped jar make you want to treat it as something precious.
Usage: Firstly, you get a little paddle inside to scoop out a small amount of foundation, very hygenic. I scoop it onto the backside of my hand, and I apply the foundation straight with my fingers, but you can ofcourse use a brush.
It has a very nice thickness, in that its thick enough to cover large pores and even out skin tone. It is light refracting, so it looks beautiful at all angles. Also you can recover dark spots or liver spots, it is thick enough to work that way too with some skill.
Very comfortable foundation, highly recommended.
Only one draw back is, I noticed the foundation has started to spoil (feeling astringent on my skin) about 3 months after I bought it for possibly one of the following reasons:
1) Paddle hygiene – I guess you should really keep this scooper paddle totally disinfected each time!
2) Summer weather – my room is now hotter and probably more moist
Try to take care of those two items and you might have the perfect foundation! Yesterday I used this foundation in modelling shots, and just some simple mascara, and he thought I looked great!

Beautiful foundation if you llike the glowy looks and have good skin on the drier side.
If I tell you that I need a full coverage (=discoloration to hide!) a combo skin with a nasty T-zone that gets worsein humid weather, and the glowy looks is not for me, you will tell immediately that this is NOT my foundation.
Well, it is a good foundation as all Guerlains are, but ths one has a medium to sheer coverage (all my spots show through, and I did 2 layers!!), and gets shiny in a couple of hours, provided that I dusted two or ore layers of LeClercs loose powder. If i did not dust, I could not step out the door (=oil slick).
I tried this foundation many times (got samples over samples) but defintely this is not for a combo skin in need of coverage.
Their BB cream (a stunning foundation, but just two miserable shades!) covers much more than PdL!!
Save your hard earned money…..

ill be honest i was a little dissapointed with this foundation. i was expecting some kind of magical face perfecter and alas, its just a very expensive foundation. for the review and in defense of this foundation, it wasnt terrible and i only tested it once so keep that in mind… ive just come to the conclusion i cant wear any foundation cheap or high end because it wont be prretty. i have mild scarring from acne. anyway on to the review.
if you dont have uneven skin texture and you like a lighter coverage, this foundation would be great. i didnt get to see how long it lasted because i felt so self conscious i immediately wiped it off. i couldnt tell you if it made me break out either..
honestly, if this was maybe ten dollars cheaper id recommend but as someone who collects foundations and has tried hundreds, id say save your money and get a cheaper alternative because there are less expensive ones just as nice!
exactingCheetah3
The true strength of Parure de Lumière is more in its ability to blur texture imperfections rather than cover actual pigmentation problems. I’d say it’s coverage is sheer to light, given my choice of application (which is my fingers, since I cannot be bothered with anything else while I’m rushing in the morning). It’s a wonder for mildly dehydrated or combination skin because the mix of silicones in it really work to smooth and fill-in skin’s surface, while imparting subtle, but not dewy-level moisture.
The low-coverage of this foundation actually works for it because, let’s be real, Guerlain’s shades have always been rather strange. I have this in 23 Dore Naturel, which is basically an obvious mid-toned orange, but because it is so sheer, it just adds a bit of life into my nc25/nc30 complexion – and I love it for that. I go in after with a little light colored concealer and it just adds so much dimension to my face.
All in all, this is for people with who want a really healthy, freshly-moisturized, and smoothed-out skin finish. And given the great UVA/UVB sunscreen component, this becomes perhaps the perfect daytime foundation.
PS. The one downside for me is the scent, which is a blatantly synthetic floral one, but still not a deal breaker.
