The new Laura Geller Spackle Blur is a convenient way to apply a primer. I must admit though that the hydration claims are overstated. This does contain some good ingredients and oils but with the amount of dimethecones these don’t have much of a change to do any hydrating. This definitely extends the wear of foundation and makeup- I used this on days I went to the gym and at the end of the day my makeup still looked great. I do think if you have oily skin you will still have extended wear of your makeup.
The only warning I have is to be careful and start out slow if you have acne prone skin because there are a few ingredients that could cause breakouts so applying this to a test area might be a good idea if you are breakout prone. The other concern I have is how long this will last because I’ve already used quite a bit of the tube just testing this out for three weeks, seems like one might last just over a month, but thankfully this isn’t a highly overpriced product like some can be.
