This is an amazing matte molding paste if you have a short pixie like me. I would qualify the hold as medium but you can play in your hair all day long and it will always look “messy-perfect”. the smell is gender-neutral and subtle (i hate buying men products that smell like cheap cologne….) so that’s also a +
it’s it kind of expensive if you’re on a budget but it’s worth it because you don’t need much each time. I am not sure that the pump is gonna hold, i heard some people had issues with it.
But other than than it’s a fantastic product!

KMS California’s Hair Play Molding Paste is a great styling product to achieve the “piecey” look to a pixie, like my own. It, however, comes out white, and you have to warm up the product in your palms to get it stickier and less white. Once on the hair, you have plenty of time to style it, with a “piecey” look. I try to aim at the roots first, then to the tips, and create a messy pixie. It stays in all day. Excellent product.
