I didn’t expect to like this product as much as I do and WOW– where do I even start? This lotion was recommended by K-Beauty Director “Director Pi'”s Youtube Channel for sensitive skin. This lotion has clean ingredients (paraben free, PEG free, BHT free, fragrance-free, micro plastic free) and to my knowledge, is cruelty-free which is huge plus in my book!
The sweet fragrance comes from Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride which is derived from coconut + glycerine and I quite like the scent– it’s subtle and doesn’t linger. I have a combination dehydrated skin with dry flakes everywhere especially around my nose and even in winter months, I found this lotion to nourish, hydrate and sooth my extremely sensitive which suffers from eczema and rosacea flareups. It is a rather light cream, so I apply this in two thin layers.
Consistency of the lotion is milky and applies on the skin like a dream and doesn’t cause my foundation to move or pill. I use this under my water based foundation (Nars Sheer Glow + Estee Lauder Double Wear) and while foundations tend to cake on the dry flakes on my skin, this lotion helped prevent much of this through the day.
All in all I am pleased with this lotion and will repurchase this fragrance-free, toxin-free and cruelty-free product once I’ve already bought two tubes out of fear that I would not be able to find this once I finish my tube. This is now a day time HG moisturizer for this girl with sensitive combination dehydrated skin with flakes. I just pat this down and no angry red skin and no flakes on my face. Just a nice, hydrated skin that isn’t oily. I can’t recommend this cream enough!

This is the first beauty product from Korea I have tried and I was fairly happy with it. I have sensitive/dry/acne-prone (chin) skin that most moisturizers wreak havoc on. My former standby was discontinued so I gave this a try based on the ingredients and description. I bought it for $16 on amazon. It’s a pretty good price, considering you get almost 4 ounces (3.8).
The formula is a pale, milky seafoam color and is quite light for being a “cream.” It absorbs quickly without leaving a tacky or sticky feeling behind. It did not cause me any skin irritation or major breakouts, as far as I could tell. I didn’t make an extra effort to keep it away from the eye area, nor did I rub it on there intentionally, and either way, it didn’t irritate my eyes.
It’s a light moisturizer, and in the winter I still had some minor dry patches on my face with nightly application of this moisturizer. However, for me, I would rather have a bit of flakiness than a spread of blemishes, as so many other moisturizers have caused.
My only two quibbles with this product are that it doesn’t smell great – the “earthy scent” is quite unpleasant when you put it on, but it does fade pretty quickly – and I’m concerned it won’t be easy/consistently available to purchase going forward. But I liked it when I used it and would recommend a trial run to others with similar skin concerns to mine.
