I haven’t written any reviews on here in a long time but thought this blush deserved one. I am honestly surprised how much I love this blush! I bought it on a whim for $2 in the clearance bin despite the color looking scary (such bright pink!). I have been wearing it daily for about two weeks now. The color is gorgeous and looks like a natural flush on my skin tone (fair/medium with neutral undertones) and lasts all day! It gives just a slight healthy glow look without looking glittery at all for my age (40). I love Nars Orgasm blush and have been weaing that almost every day but actually like this one more for everyday.

I have tried to make this blush work many times and I just can’t seem to get it to work. I have the color A-coral-ble, which is a very pretty color in the jar, and is in the color family of blushes that I tend to reach for. It’s a bit darker and slightly cooler in tone than The Balm’s Frat Boy blush (my go to) and so the color of A-coral-ble would be great for summer when my skin is a little more tan. I really liked the idea of this blush as I like wearing cream blushes but have much better luck applying powder. On me, I apply it and love how it looks, then in about 15 min it starts to feel gummy. My cheeks become sticky to the touch and it feels heavy. The color also seems to darken after it starts to feel sticky. When I checked it in the mirror to see what this new sticky feeling looked like, I realized that I looked sunburned. The first 2 times, I thought I just applied too much and needed to get used to applying a loose blush, but after the 3rd and 4th times, I figured it was the blush. I have tried it over foundation, CC cream, tinted moisturizer, and powder. I have also tried a translucent setting powder over it while wearing the CC cream and tinted moisturizer under it. I also think that the packaging is inconvenient. A lot of the blush comes up through the sifter, so it’s pretty messy. I probably shouldn’t have taken off the sticker that it came with, because the amount of blush that is on top of the sifter when I open it has always been way too much, so I need to tap some into the top of the jar, and in the process I almost always spill. I really wanted to like this, I think I gave it a fair shot by trying to make it work in many different product combinations, but it just doesn’t work for me.

Hands down favourite blush I’ve ever used!! A have the color Acorable and it’s such a lovely matte finish and the powder blends so nicely – my search for my perfect blush is over!

I have this in the color Tickled Pink. OMG. What a BEAUTIFUL blush! The formula feels so luxurious and the color, although it looks really vibrant in the package, becomes the most gorgeous flush of pink! Not sure how they do this at this price point but honestly, on first swipe, I had the overwhelming urge to immediately ditch all my other pink blushes in favor of this one. I’m going back for the coral color tomorrow. I’d love to see a few more colors in this formula: a plum, a red and a soft nude would be perfect! Until then, I’ll be sure and tell all my friends to rush out and buy this product because as far as I can see, it’s pretty much HG material!

I bought this in the shade “Acorable” which is a coral/rose shade, very very pretty. I have a rather deep tan right now and this powder to cream blush gives a very natural flush to my cheeks, love it! I can see this shade working well even when I do not have a tan, it looks like a universally flattering shade. The other shade “tickled pink” is a bit bright for my liking but I imagine if you apply it with a light touch it will also give a very nice natural glow to the skin. Texture is soft and pigment is just right, product lasts all day long without having to touch up at all. I’m really impressed with all of the Flower Beauty products I’ve picked up so far. I paid approx $14 at Walmart which is about par for drugstore blush, although this one is a loose powder and doesn’t come with a brush to apply. I wouldn’t bring this with me, rather leave it on home as it could be messy otherwise, but like I said, no need to reapply or touch up, it looks as goood at the end of the day as it does at the start of the day. Best part is this does not have a shimmer or sparkle to it nor does it look flat or matte. I’d describe the finish as a soft glow. Really a worthwhile purchase.

I saw a beauty editor comment on this blush in All You magazine and it intrigued me. I’ve never used a power to creme anything. I know they exist, but don’t know if I’ve ever seen it in a drug store brand. Anyway, the editor described this color called “Tickled Pink” that she said was almost a “blue-neon pink” but that it looked so pretty on. Flower cosmetics can be found at your local Walmart — is a brand created by Drew Barrymore. I think this is the first item I’ve ever purchased from this line. From what I could see, there are about 4 different shades of this blush. There was another that I saw that was a coral color but the other two slots were sold out, so I’m not sure of the other colors. I’m sure you can Google and see them online. I was able to get the last container of Tickled Pink. It comes in a sifter container and does indeed look like a bright pink powder. I believe I paid around $9.50 for it. I poured a bit into the lid and began swirling my brush around and applied. It’s extremely buildable which I LOVE. What is awesome about this is that it DOES turn into a creme blush! And it’s an adorable, natural pink! I have fair skin, so it just looked so pretty! I examined this in all kinds of light to make sure I didn’t look like a clown, LOL. I went to run errands today and was in natural light and florescent light in front of mirrors and just loved it! I’ve had it on since around 9:00 this a.m. and it’s now 2:30 and it’s still there and still looks great! And I live in North Texas and it’s HOT and very humid today. I really do like this! Works for me! 🙂
UPDATE: So sorry, but I guess there’s only (2) shades — the one above (Tickled Pink) and something called “Acorable”….the coral colored shade. When I looked, there must have been another blush line next to it that made me think there were more than 2. Either way, I think I’m going to pick up the Acorable as well. I think that they wanted to create 2 shades that anyone could wear and I do think Drew Barrymore nailed it here. I sort of wish she’d come out with more though….I very much like this!

OMBlush! This is my HG Blush. By far the best blush I have ever used! Between color and texture, over 12 hours staying power. I’ve had such trouble for years getting any blush to last. This one does, even if just on bare skin! Wish they had more colors and developed a foundation, highlighter etc. This powder to creme is beyond amazing!
