I discovered this cute little indie brand back when I bought a couple of Glossyboxes. This is a pretty intense highlighter, definitely not for the natural/”no makeup” makeup looks. It’s a pink champagne colour (not as pink as it looks on the website, but not straight up champagne either) that works pretty well on my fair skin. I think it could look really good with a bit of a tan in the summer, but unfortunately I don’t really tan much, personally.
The packaging is adorable! I keep most of my makeup in drawers, but this little bottle sits out on my vanity because of how cute it looks. The application is a brush (think nail polish brush) which works okay to distribute the product on the high points of your face. I prefer to blend it out with a damp beauty sponge, which is why I only tend to reach for it when I’m already using a sponge for my base. I love that it doesn’t lift or disturb my foundation at all. I’ve used more high end products that have done just that, and it drives me crazy to the point where I won’t even use them.
It’s based on coconut oil, so if you’re really keen on keeping your base matte and oil free, you might not want to go with this one. As for price, it is a little up there for only 4ml, but that’s understandable when it comes to smaller brands since their production costs are often higher than brands that produce massive amounts of the same product.
