Great primer! I can see the glow even after a full face of makeup is on. I can see my pores are a bit blurred as well. Little on the pricey side but I can’t find anything quite like it!

Am I doing something wrong? I have pores underneath my eyes and this does absolutely nothing to hide them. I also don’t see a glow, just a temporary smoothing effect

The same great quality like NO more Pores (gray tube) but with more glowy effect.
works amazing, makes your foundation really longwear!
very efficient
I will buy it again for sure

I’m so upset with this purchase it’s not even funny. This was a blind buy online, based on the fact that 1. I love Dr. Brandt’s Pores No More Refiner Primer (original formula) and 2. I have dry skin so I look for things that are illuminating.
There are a number of things seriously wrong with this product:
– It is not the same formula or texture as the original formula.
– It did not fill my pores, and they’re at worst medium-sized (around my nose).
– It has chunks of glitter.
– It broke me out badly, even though I only wore it twice. I’m not acne-prone, so if you are please be very, very careful with this primer.
Ok, so you might be able to conceal the chunky glitter under foundation, but that will probably be hard considering I applied it under Estee Lauder Double Wear and the chunks showed through like my skin was a disco ball. If DW can’t hide glitter chunks, there probably aren’t many foundations on the market that can.
The worst part is that I threw away the packaging as soon as I got it in the mail, based on the blind trust I have (Note: HAD) in the brand. Never again will I be so trusting and stupid with a product.

I got the Dr. Brandt No Pores No More Illuminating Primer in my January 2018 Boxy charm box and it is a FULL SIZE product. OMG I love the scent – french lavender!! The shimmering texture and color gives the illumination. I find it a natural glow, not too powerful, and when you add your foundation, so pretty and natural. I have been using this product for about 2 weeks now and it’s been good. I found it starting to minimizing my pores and absorbing oil to mattifying shine in the T-zone. I use it under my foundation and use it part of my daily routine. It’s smooth texture allows for flawless application. I prefer a pump than a squeeze tube so it pumps out a tiny amount. I do find extended wear of my makeup and I don’t have to re-touch it throughout the day. I might repurchase this, but it’s $$ at Sephora Canada for 1 floz / 30ml tube. I find it little expensive for a primer. Overall I’m satisfied. Thanks for reading!

I have the Luminizer version of this product.
When I first read the packaging I was super excited to try this out – almost all pore-minimising primers are mattifying and as someone with dry skin illuminating primers work better for me.
Swatching it, I was a little taken back by the glitter in it – glitter just isn’t my thing and I wondered how this was going to look on my skin. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the glitter wasn’t visible at all when applied to the face and it all sheers out into this beautiful, lit-from-within glow. My foundation applied BEAUTIFULLY on top of it too, it really did blur my pores and imperfections, and I found that it prolonged the wear of my makeup considerably. I love the tube too; it’s not as easy others to squeeze out too much product.
This was a total hit for me and I am so excited to use this more, especially with the summer months coming up.

I have the Lumanizer version of this and love it. It gave me an absolutely flawless finish (I used it under my Estée Lauder Double Wear). I wore it for 14 hours and did notice it started to get shiny towards the end, which doesn’t happen when I wear Smashbox Primer. I will pick up some blotting papers and continue to use the primer because the finish is just so beautiful. I have combination skin and have used Smashbox for years until receiving Dr. Brandt in my Boxycharm. In summary, while the Smashbox keeps the shine at bay much longer, it can’t compete with the smooth, beautiful finish of Dr. Brandt Luminizing Primer.

I have the illuminator version. Courtesy of boxycharm Jan 2018. I would not wear this alone as 1 of the suggestions on the directions. It is not mattifying. It looks a bit scary on its own but It does looks good under fdtn & makes it “stick” which is good I don’t have to blot right away. I’m using it w Chanel fdtn sublimage Le Teint (the stuff that’s a cream w a brush that fdtn requires a good primer (& setting spray!) to keep from looking too dewy & these play together nicely but I would not rebuy I like MAC Matte for primer.

Great primer although very expensive, does exactly what it says and refines pores to help the skin appear smoother under foundation.

I purchased the travel size version of this at Ulta to avoid the regret of the full priced version. I am so happy I did because this primer is one of the most drying products on the planet.
I suffer from adult acne and I was looking for something that would help my makeup apply smoothly without breaking me out. While this worked well to control shine, it does little for your pores or face. In fact, it accentuated my pitted acne scars and because it goes on orange, it can discolor your foundation. I did not find that my pores looked smaller or that it made my makeup stay on longer.
The consistency is nice–very buttery. It does smell strongly of tea tree oil which I don’t mind, but it might bother others.
