I feel like I was completely duped when purchasing this product. The Ulta website describes this Kumadori Luminescent Finishing Powder as “a luxurious ultra-light weight and super fine setting powder with an immaculate soft pearl finish.” Pearl finish my behind, this is just an out and out glittery mess of a powder. In one of the reviews on the Ulta website, the customer stated that she felt like she had purchased a loose glitter that was meant for a child. I completely agree with that…if this powder had been marketed as a loose glitter highlighter powder that would have been much more accurate. It’s pretty!!!! There’s no doubt about that, but it doesn’t make a good facial setting powder unless you want your face covered with glittery sparkles. I think this product is pricy too, you only get $27 per 0.19 oz of product. Now, compared to some other items that’s comparable, but you can definitely find better deals. Dermablend has a great setting powder, for $27 you get a full 1 oz or product.
Overall, NOT impressed with this finshing powder. It’s too bad too because the consistency and feel of it is very nice. The packaging is great too, this comes in a flip top pot that has a sifter and a nice powder puff. The powder itself though is just way too glittery for my face and makes for a very expensive body shimmer. DISLIKE!!!!
