   First, let me explain my under eye area. I have hollows, dark circles, thinner skin, fine lines prone to getting crepey, and dryness-prone skin. I am nearly 30, but feel as though I have the under eye area of a 40 yr old (probably from years of not using sunscreen 🙁 ). I bought this after having tried the Tarte CC corrector and the Becca Under Eye Brightener. The texture is creamy, but also on the dry side. However, it is easiest to apply if you warm up the product between your fingertips and apply with your fingertip. I bought it for the orange corrector, which turns out is too dark for my super pale complexion. However, I tried the beige corrector on my bluish/purpleish dark circles and surprisingly it happens to be great at covering and cancelling them out. I am going to try mixing a bit of the orange in the with beige to create a lighter orange-based colour to see if that will be my holy grail with this product. Despite this product being drier than the Tarte and Becca, it doesn’t actually dry out my skin oddly enough. No crepiness later in the day or dry/cakey looking skin. It is also very buildable. I think this product performs better than the creamier formulas because it stays put where you place it and it doesn’t slip into fine lines or move around when you apply concealer over top (which is my issue with the Tarte and Becca correctors). It seems to be the perfect balance between a super creamy, hydrating formula and a liquid or dry formula that would dry my under eyes out. It’s not 100% and my darkness still somewhat shows through, but it is the best corrector palette I have found so far for my particular issues and preferences.

   My undereye circles need some help in a bad way. I had points to spend at Ulta so I picked up this Pacifica color correcting concealer palette at a discount from it’s original price (around $15). This is the 1st time I’ve ever tried any kind of color corrector. From reviews I’ve seen on other products in the past, it seems like some of the concealers in these types of palettes can tend to be quite dry, so I wanted to swatch this in person. It was only in stock at one Ulta within 15 miles of my house, so I went there to swatch it. One major thing this palette has going for it is that these colors aren’t dry. The Beige shade is the most dry out of the three (still not even that bad) but the other two are surprisingly creamy. They don’t crease under my eyes, but I always set my undereye area (with NARS Nico powder). Here are the colors it comes with and what they’re for:

   * Peach – for correcting dark spots and dark circles.
   * Lavender – brightens dullness & corrects yellow tones.
   * Beige – blends unevenness & corrects blue tones.

   I’ve been using the peach & beige (never used the lavender. I’m going to try it as a cream eyeshadow because the pigmentation is great, but not sure how that’ll go.) What I do is go in with the peach color as my 1st step after applying a moisturizing primer. Then I go over it with the beige and then I go over it with foundation. The peach does make things look brighter, and I feel like the beige helps to further conceal the F-shaped vein I have underneath one eye.

   I reeeeally like the packaging of this product. The outside is blue and purple with gold moons and stars, and when you open up the lid it says “you’re so pretty” on the inside, which I think is cute.

   Here are the ingredients: Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Kaolin, Ozokerite, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Tocopherol, Aqua/Water, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Extract, Lonicera Caprifolium Flower Extract, Lonicera Japonica Flower Extract, Parfum (Natural).
   May Contain: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxide (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Ultramarine Blue (CI 77007)

   The reasons I won’t repurchase are:
   1) Overall, while it does help make the darkness and veins under my eyes less noticeable, I don’t feel like it makes enough difference to keep using forever. I notice a minor difference, but I don’t think I look much more well-rested to anyone else. Yeah I’ll use up what I have in this palette but once it’s done I’ll probably experiment with another peach corrector. I feel like one a little bit lighter would be more suitable for my skintone.

   2) While I’m confident that I’ll be able to use up the ones I’ve been using daily, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to find a use for the purple (I don’t experience any sallowness) and I’m not the type of person to buy a palette of any kind and not use every shade.

   I’ve tried another Pacifica undereye brightening/concealing product (the Dreamlit Under Eye Brightener in the shade Bare) and I wasn’t particularly impressed with that one either. Like the one I’m reviewing, that one was just okay.
