I love the concept of a sunscreen setting spray. This smells great and has a beautiful gentle sprayer, but it burns my face.

This made my sensitive skin sting and burn. I think the heavy sunscreen might be a factor, but I ended up scratching so much that my makeup came off. I don’t think I’d try to use it again.

Wanted to love this, because I’ve been looking for an SPF spray that won’t mess up my makeup when I need to reapply throughout the day, and I had heard amazing things about Supergoop. Smells amazing, and does feel very refreshing, but it never realllllly quite “sets down” and leaves my face feeling greasy and heavy for the rest of the day. Made my makeup break up on my face (probably from the oil-controlling properties, but I have dry skin so it might not be a problem for others.) The hunt continues!!

I had high hopes for this because I wanted a spray I could use to reapply sunscreen throughout the day if Im wearing makeup
I was testing this after I already applied my moisturizer and let set, and sprayed this on my face and my moisturizer had clumped and had major pilling going on.
thank ggod I was at home trying this out before just using it out of the house.
also the nozzle is faulty and does not spray product evenly, which I feel also attribute it to my moisturizer balling up
I also shook this product as instructed but it didn’t help

I love makeup setting spray for getting rid of the powdery dry aging look that setting powder can have over a foundation. I love the youthful hydrated looking skin and the staying power it gives to my makeup especially on hot humid days. I have been using makeup setting sprays for years and have tried numerous brands from Urban Decay to Wet n’Wild, so this is not my first experience with this type of product. I received this deluxe sample size bottle in a cosmetics subscription box recently. I was excited to try this out since I’ve used this brand in the past and loved everything I’ve ever had from them. I liked the rosemary scent a little but I would have preferred something more girly and less kitcheny than an herbal fragrance. I love rosemary, but not on my face. Overall, this was a dud for me though as I’ve used it already 5 times and although there is still plenty left in the bottle I’ll likely be tossing it out. This leaves a sticky tacky residue on my skin and feels weird and it accentuates every single peachfuzz hair on my face/cheeks! The first couple of times I thought maybe I was too heavy heanded with the setting powder, but that wasn’t it at all. I’ve tried different setting powders and been very stingy with them, and even used one foundation with the powder built in so there is no additional setting powder required on that one and it did the same thing, so I ruled out using too much powder as the cause. I don’t have this problem with my other setting sprays so it’s just this one. I used it again today to give it one last chance as I really wanted to love this, but I just don’t. I reached up at lunch to brush a hair off my cheek and there was that sticky tacky feeling and my hair was actually sticking to it. I am not pleased with this at all. It may work well for others, but it didn’t do it for me. Pass on this one and pick up Wet n’ Wild, L’Oreal or NYX instead at the drugstore or supermarket. They all worked better for me and cost less.

I found this because I was interested in setting sprays and I had found a sunscreen-free foundation I really wanted to try.
It’s available in a small purse size or a larger bottle.
I love it! No grease, no excess shine, easy re-application. It lasted well through several hours in direct sunlight in lovely Las Vegas.
It is chemical sunscreen. I experience a tiny bit of burning if I don’t suck in my lips when applying.

I really like this, idk if it really helps to set makeup, but i love that i can reapply spf without affecting the rest of my face. i live that its not in an aerosol form, which typically has a really strong alcohol scent that really aggravates my nose. ( i dont have a problem with alcohol in the product, just the byproduct effect, if that makes sense). i think this is just a normal spray sunscreen, but again i just really like that i can touch up on spf if im out in the sun for more than a few hours.

I got this as a sample in a monthly beautybox. I am combo skin more toward oily, and I cannot find the right foundation – setting combination to keep my makeup from melting off by noon. I tried Skindinavia setting spray and it is OK but this stuff rocks. It smells great — has Rosemary and mint in it. It dries quick. It also has SPF50. I can get through a whole day of work without meltage. 🙂
