Really good product for a cheap price! I have very thick dry hair so i want to try this on my hair as well as many are writing!

Holy crap, the person who blazed the trail and used this on her hair is a hero!
I have very thick, coarse hair and tried it to see if it might be a good travel option for whole-body use. Amazing! It contains soy oil and castor oil in great amounts, paired with the very mild sulfate Mipa-Laureth Sulphate (often considered the most mild anionic surfactant that exists). My hair was left perfectly clean, my scalp happy, and my hair smooth and moisturized without any additional products. The scent that lingers in the hair is very pleasant and soapy in a clean, subtle, not-clashing way.
This is a wonderful option if, like me, you lots of thick hair and find co-washing leaves you scalp feeling less-than clean and your head not smelling the best. I’ll be using it at about the same frequency as a co-wash (every 3rd wash).
On skin, does what it says on the tin. Very mildly cleansing, leaves my very dry skin unbattered by the winter weather. It removes my makeup effortlessly before I follow up with a hit of face cleanser, A true head to toe product, as I hoped.

Wanna know what I washed my hair with last night? Nivea Shower Oil. I used it to clarify my hair and to see if it’s a good option to 2in1 shampoo/conditioners for my SO, and my hair felt so silky after rinsing it out that I let it dry without using conditioner to see how it turned out. Wow!! Only my fuzzy split ends needed some extra leave in oil, the rest of the hair feels super silly and wonderful! What the heck?! I’ve been using shampoo, conditioner, and deep containers religiously for years and now this body wash makes my hair feel just as wonderful?! I’m shook. The first ingredient is soy bean oil, which is a great sealant, and the second is a sulphate (a gentler one than SLS, but still a sulphate). The third ingredient is castor oil, which is great for hair growth, to thicken hair, and as a sealant. When I pass this off to my SO I think I’ll try my luck with L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil because almond oil is normally great with my hair, and the product seems to otherwise have a similar composition as the Nivea one. As for using it for the body – as intended – it’s alright. I’ve very dry body skin and it was a bit better than regular shower washes but not amazing. On my face, where I’m more normal/slightly dry, it was quite good but I do prefer Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.

This is and feels like a cheap shower oil. The smell is not pleasant and doesn’t leave my skin softer or greasy. It removes waterproof body sunscreen effectively and that’s why I will keep using it.

I was thinking it’s a greasy shower oil, so I didn’t give it a try. But in this winter my skin become too dry and I thought shower oil may actually preserve some moisture after showering so I got this. Well, it feels oily at first, then transforms in milky and light texture and rinses off completely. I like gentle and luxurious smell and texture. And since it’s so cheep I would keep it in my bathroom to use sometimes. Such a relaxing and silky product.

The oil is similar in consistency to L’Occitane’s Almond shower oil, and undergoes the same oil-to-washable milk process. It’s soothing on the skin, aids a clean shave on the legs, and does moisturise. The scent is faintly of rice, white floral and Victorian soap, which is pleasant enough. My boyfriend thinks this stuff is great and I think it’s pretty good. The four lipsticks are from him, as I don’t like it as much as I might.

This stuff is great! It looks like an oil but as soon as you mix it with water it turns into a light foam that feels very luxurious on your skin. It makes you feel clean and soft. It doesn’t dry out my skin like most shower gels do (big plus), but it’s not actively moisturizing so don’t expect this to replace your body lotion or anything. The smell is nice and neutral and doesn’t clash with anything. I also like to use this instead of shaving cream as it leaves my skin much softer afterwards. Pampering oil is a very appropriate name. I love it. I have repurchased this several times already and I will keep on doing that in the future.
Update: unfortunately I found out this was causing break-outs on my body so I stopped using this. Bummer, since I really liked it. If your skin is not break-out prone (mine is very break-out prone) I’d really still recommend this.

An ambery liquid that glides on like an oil, and slips like one too! If you spill some in the shower, be prepared for bruised shins and elbows! 🙂
Having said that, it’s a luxurious product to use on the nights you’re not using a scrub as it’s very moisturising and smells lovely.

Great! i love it. It’s not supposed to foam up alot as that would derive alot of chemicals in the product. It turns milky once the water hits it. It leaves my skin soft with no oily residue and has a scent that disappears so it doesn’t clash with any perfumes.
Very good product and i’d recommend it.

At first I wasn’t sure about this product. However its distinctive sweet subtle smell and its oily but not greasy texture has grown on me. Now I will make sure that I won’t run out of this although it is very hard to get hold of where I live. It is not cheap but the way it leaves my skin smelling is worth the extra price. My skin just smells clean not chemically and it is not a sickeningly overpowering fragrance.I don’t find it ultra moisturising though so don’t expect it to do wonders to your skin. This product is worth a try because you might just fall in love with it like I did!
