I was fortunate enough to get Rose Blush through Amazon after the Brilliant Shine glosses were discontinued.
I really like Rose Blush. It’s a beautiful medium-bright rose pink, a color that’s oddly difficult to find in a lip gloss. Though Rose Blush doesn’t impart much color on its own, it’s gorgeous over a similarly-colored lipstick; it adds just a touch of fine shimmer that makes the lips look smooth, full, and “juicy.”
Rose Blush has a very faint pleasant vanilla taste/scent, and it’s just a bit sticky.
This is a great gloss, especially for the price. I’ll gladly re-purchase when the time comes, if I can still find it.

I’m a gloss lover and these are fantastic! I picked up Rose Blush and Luminous at CVS and I have to say these are very good! They smell very nice like a light vanilla and most important as a gloss lover they have to last. These do because they are a sticky but feel smooth when you rub your lips together. I love this colour it’s very Spring like to me. It’s a beautiful pink rose shade with itty bitty silver micro glitter.
It is not shimmery though in the way where it’s overkill. Just a beautiful rose the silver just gives it definition. I am fair NW15,Blonde hair, and green eyes for reference and this shade goes very well my complexion. These are great quality they feel just as good as my MAC glosses and at a great price. They also moisturize really well no weird peeling or anything like that. They also wear off pretty even and last as long as any good lip gloss. I love the shades and the formula feels great I couldn’t be happier! Recommended!

I picked these up just because I heard so many people talking about them. I’m usually a lipstick girl but I thought I would give these a try. I got the shades Ravishing raspberry and sweet grapefruit.
Packaging: Clear square tube with a cold cap. Name of product is written in gold on the side and color is written on the bottom of the tube as well as on the side of the cap.
Some people find the gold to be tacky but I like.
Amount per tube: You get six grams of product per tube. o.21 oz
Applicator: Its not your regular doe foot. The back is angled while there is a slight curve in the front of it. I had no trouble applying this.
Smell: These have that fake vanilla smell. I cant smell it after I apply it, only whilei m putting it on. Its not an over powering scent and shouldn’t bother you too much. Most scents don’t bother me at all.
Texture: These are some what sticky which makes them last a long time on your lips. The ones I have are crèmes and do not contain any shimmer, so they wore comfortably on my lips. They both feel very smooth and comfortable to wear. They give extreme amounts of shine which is great considering the name.
Price: prices vary at drug stores but ive seen them from 4.99 to 7.99. usst check around. Try to get them somewhere where they are having a buy one get one deal to save some money.
Color pay off: Ravishing Raspberry has great color payoff, almost true to color, but I notice the color diminished after a few hours of wear. The shine was still there though.
Sweet Grape fruit is very sheer on me because my lips are very pigmented but I do like it. I think it would look great paired with a lipstick of similar color.
Overall: I really like these but I don’t see myself purchasing more simply because I’m a lipstick girl and the last time I bought some lipgloss was summer 2013. I won’t be repurchasing for those same reasons. They are very nice and if you are a lip gloss fan then they would be great additions to your collection.
I hope this wasn’t too long. I try to be as thorough as I can when I review a product so you can know exactly what to expect.

I am a lip gloss fiend, I love to have it with me at all times and I love to be wearing it at all times. I picked up this Milani Brilliant Shine lip gloss in the color Nude Touch. The color on the lips is a ‘your lips but better’ type. I have pretty fair skin but my lips are fairly pigmented on their own. But this lip gloss is actually quite pigmented for what it is.
The texture of this particular gloss is pretty thick and sticky (which is something I adore) but it’s not the kind that start seeping onto your upper lip or chin either, don’t worry, it’s not THAT heavy. The shine this leaves on the lips is absolutely true to the name of this gloss line. There is lots of shimmer in the tube, but when applied to the lips, it doesn’t come off as a whole bunch of chunky glitter.
The scent of this gloss is a yummy cupcake/vanilla type scent which is definitely a plus! it doesn’t have a funny taste and it goes on smoothly without any streaks. It’s also conditioning to the lips and lasts as long as you don’t eat or drink it off.
All in all, I would definitely buy this lip gloss again. I rate it overall a 4 out 5.

Oh. My. Glob.
Okay, I’m not HUGE on lip glosses. I’m really more of a lipstick kind of gal. Or balm. But glosses have to be rather extraordinary for me to love them. The Buxom glosses, e.l.f.’s cheapy $1 gloss tubes – these have wowed me. But not many in between, before, or since have really sent me.
But these new Milani glosses – WOWZA!
I’ve only tried one shade – Rose Blush – but I’m just going to go ahead and assume that they are all similar in terms of texture and performance. The shade reminds me of Neutrogena’s gloss in “Flirt”, which was an obsession of mine in my early 20’s. It’s a gorgeous, sheer berry gloss with cool-toned shimmer running throughout (but not so much that it resembles a MAC Dazzleglass). It is perfect for making my pale lips look plump and pigmented, as it applies smoothly and leaves behind a beautiful glassy finish.
Texture-wise, it’s quite thick. I prefer thicker, stickier glosses because they last longer than thinner, creamier formulas. I find I have to touch up less. While it is thick, it’s not drying. In fact, my lips feel quite hydrated and healthy while wearing this. And it sits comfortably on the lips, despite it’s thick consistency. Loving this formula!
The packaging is terrific. Quite minimalist in appearance – the gold top and gold writing are the most glamorous parts, but otherwise, the clean, square design makes for a streamlined look, and since it’s not round, it’s easy to find in your purse. The doe-foot applicator is elongated and tapered, making one-stroke application a breeze.
And the smell. Oh my goodness. It’s so sweet and sugary! It smells like caramel! It sticks around a little bit, but for those of us who love sweet smells, this is a major plus!
Price-wise – well, it’s Milani. Their prices are lower than Revlon or L’Oreal and they out-perform every drugstore brand, so I’d say at $5 and change, these glosses are a steal.
