Purchased last summer, this my favourite of the the ‘Nude’ palette series. Colours are definitely warmer much vibrant than the other two Nude palettes. (this would be The Balms answer to UD -Naked Heat palette). Packaging: the usual “Balm” graphic sturdy cardboard packaging, large mirror runs parallel with palette which contains 12 small pans, included is a dbl ended mini eye brush (which I gave away). That being said the palette is perfect for travel if the pkg size is not an issue. In this palette the colours are all cleverly named with positive affirming qualities that start with ‘B’ after the palettes name ‘Beach’. Kudos to the marketing team lol. This palette contains an equal ratio of shimmery metallics to matte formulas mostly well pigmented buttery shadow formulas. Only one poorly pigmented shade and that is Brilliant, a matte light flesh tone. Brainiac is a gorgeous metallic shade (bright berry copper) which is probably what attracts ppl to this palette among other colours. Lovey bronze gold metallic colours as well Buff, Bulit and Breathtaking. Brave is a deep dark chocolate plum-brown matte infused with tiny sparkles of fuscia (which barely can be seen when applied), such a pretty colour seems to go on patchy, but can be worked with. Same goes for Brazen a dark brown matte shade- patchy but workable. As always I recommend primer for some of the matte shades especially, just for extra insurance. Very warm coppery feel to this palette, great for summer looks.
Overall I enjoy this palette the most given I’ve never purchased a palette until this as I prefer to customize my onw palette with shadows by MAC and UD.

I loved the hues in this warm palette and it had a nice balance of mattes and shimmer shades, including crease colors.
Most of the shadows were pigmented, except for the light colors, the matte vanilla and a light gold/peach shimmer. They blended well and there are some gorgeous colors here.
The huge problem was the staying power. I used brave which is a deep plum shade along with a couple others on my first application and after a few hours wear they had faded from my normal/dry lids.
I went on to try more with base/primer combinations and the longevity was poor. I have some of The Balm blushes which last forever. For $36 bucks this is unreal.
