Perfect shades and texture 🙂

Omg, HG palette of all time. Every time, I mean every – single – time, I wear colors from this palette, someone will ask me: “Excuse me, but can you tell me what eye shadow you are wearing?” And I happily tell them it’s from Becca the Ombre Nude Palette. The colors are simply perfect for work or for going out at night. The consistency is just perfect, goes on the lid without major packing on or creasing, or caking on. And they last a long time. The 5 shades are to die for and perfect for applying in the crease, creating a smokey eye and so many other variations. I use the first three to the left for work days, and then I use the shadows on the right for going out at night. It’s also the perfect size to travel with. This is my favorite eye palette of all time. Worth every penny, HG for sure!!!

Very nice shades, and quite foolproof for non-expert like me. Good staying power, especially without primer (I keep forgetting to apply it first!). It’s nice to have a variety of nudes and browns that are complementary to cool-toned fair skin. These aren’t the most exciting colors in the world, but they’re great for a basic eye look. I knocked off one lippie because there always seems to be a lot of extra powder on my brushes however gently I tap them in the shadows, so there is waste plus the need to blow/tap the extra off. I bought this on sale for about $29; don’t think I’d pay the full $40 price for it.

Great set of neutral browns that I use as a light to dark eye look and combine with other palettes, particularly the Becca ombre rouge palette, to get a variety of eye looks. The palette itself, although made of plastic, is very sleek and sturdy and the mirrored lid opens fully and stays where I put it, so working from it is made easier because I’m not fighting with the lid. The pans seem small but do have some depth: I haven’t hit pan yet, but accidentally dropped the display palette in store and shade 5 completely came out (may the makeup gods forgive me) so I feel confident after seeing an empty pan the quantity of product isn’t disappointing.
I feel the claim Becca makes of a built in primer falls short, as I have tried it without an eye primer and the colors faded and shifted by mid-day. The formula, to me, falls in-between chalky and creamy, buildable and mainly easy to blend. The fact that it has just 5 shades makes it a no brainer choice when I want to look polished but not overly made-up.
Per other claims of its multiple uses, I found blending shades 3 & 4 together worked well for an eyebrow powder, and shade 2 worked well as a contour shade using Sigma’s F05 countour brush. I find that this palette, combined with the ombre rouge palette (for blush and highlighting) makes a great multi-use pair that could work well on its own for lightweight travel with a few select brushes.

I bought this palette then my sister borrowed it one time and liked it a lot so she kept borrowing it so often I had to buy another one so I could use it too LOL. This is a palette of matte brown shadows in 5 graduations – the lightest reminds me of milk tea and the darkest like dark chocolate.
My sister and I have a weird eye shape – hooded but not quite, and can easily look puffy with the wrong shade/formula/placement. Most days we also like the no makeup look, and the aim is simply to look fresh and awake. With the Becca Ombre Nudes contouring the eyes or masking puffiness is effortless, and even when we do want dramatic smokey eyes this palette can deliver.
The shades are not chalky at all, the texture so fine (it kicks up a bit of powder but that’s no big deal for us), the pigments intense but buildable. The finish (to my eye) isn’t flat matte but more of the sheerest satin, so all the more natural-looking. They blend into each other so easily and can even be used to contour the face (I do the nose a lot). I like to use it over UDPP; my sister doesn’t (she doesn’t use any primer at all) yet the shadows stay fresh on her lids for a good many hours.
The packaging is also sleek – yes its plastic but it doesn’t look cheap. I also like the mirror inside although I hardly ever need to use it.
( I’m NC37-40 my sister is a shade or two lighter for reference).

Although this is a pricy palette for 5 shades, it is completely worth it in my opinion. It is neutral-cool toned but still works perfectly on my NC30/35 skin. All the mattes are pigmented and smooth without being too intense. I prefer this for traveling because it has a matte highlight, transition, crease, and lid shades that I can use for day and night. The dark brown also doubles as a brow shade for me. I also love the slim minimal packaging as it makes it easy to pack and take along!

Love the shadows- great quality and perfect shades. I’m a bit meh about the packaging though. It’s a flat brown plastic case with a screen printed logo. Not a nice pearlised finish or an interesting design, just ordinary brown plastic.

Great matte neutral palette. The shades are all very pigmented, easy to apply and blend. The colors lean a little on the warm side, and work wonderfully for my NC25 skin. I use the lightest shade all over, and the third one on the crease, with the second one for blending, and the 4th or 5th as eye liner. Stays put all day without a primer, and even better with one. Love it! And I appreciate the included mirror.

Love this! It’s a great set of five natural colors that are great for an everyday “no makeup” look. The colors are also versatile enough where you could create a good smokey eye. The colors are rich and buttery, although not quite as rich as the Naked 2 palette that I also use for more intense looks. But perfect for a daytime look. Love at all these are matte, I really hate a lot of glittery for a daytime look.
This was a better buy for me over the Naked Basics palette because of its warmer colors and a more focus on the darker colors than the light. But perhaps the Basics is a better deal for $29 for six colors, and this is $40 for five.

This palette was my latest Ulta indulgence! ???? I was immediately sold when I clapped eyes on the gorgeous, rich, brown tones. These are without a doubt my very favourite eye shadows to wear right now. The earthy colors really bring out my brown eyes. They blend beautifully, and create some gorgeous smoke. Slightly less pigmented than I expected, but I’m ok with that. It just goes towards a more lovely satiny application.
