I think this clearasil face cleanser has been discontinued I think clearasil has d/ c their Hyda blast & rapid ultra lines & came out with a new rescue line with new packaging!
I have used this in the past in my teens in both the regular and sensitive version! & I’m currently using the sensitive skin version of this again & im not that fond of it Bc it’s really drying on my oily skin! It’s a typical cream to foam cleanser that feels like a bar of soap on your skin! The only pro is that it’s fragrance free & does clean off the oil of your face very well! This face cleanser could be a dupe for more expensive cleanser from the department store by Clinique and Estée Lauder , origins & shisheido & Lancôme! Bc it’s all the same formula of a cream to foam wash! But regardless it’s all bad for the skin!

I honestly don’t understand the low rating for this face wash! This has been my holy grail cleanser since high school (I’m 25 now).
I have tried so many different cleaners but ALWAYS come back to this one! I have an issue with cleansers never being able to take off all my makeup, but this removes everything. It’s perfect for my oily/combo skin and I rarely ever have breakouts and I honestly just think it’s due to this cleanser.
It’s cheap, so give it a try! I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Not bad. Will finish but won’t buy again. Is a cream cleanser but it foams and suds up which I’m not a fan of. Just not for me.

Being young, this was my first face wash I tried after using dove bar soap in sensitive. I stuck with this one for years, scared to try anything new that might cause break outs. I’m not totally sure if this irritated my skin or not, because around the time I stopped using it (it’s getting discontinued) I also started only washing my skin once a day at night and stopped having about 50% break outs. I’m not sure if it was this soap or not, or if it’s my new routine. I think it’s the routine though because I can’t explain why, just never felt like this could possibly be irritating.
Has a great whipped soap texture and lathers like crazy, a little goes a long way. It get’s off every bit of makeup on your face with ease. I took a few lippies away though because I felt like it did leave a little bit of a residue and I’m still not sure if it ever broke me out.

I had to write a review as Im surprised at how well I like this cleanser! Me, late 30’s, oily/sensitive/reactive acne. I’ve tried proactive, Paula’s Choice (still use- just not cleansers now), and so many high end/low end products its ridiculous. Most oil control/acne control products irritate my skin immediately. But in the summer I’m prone to more oiliness, and then breakouts, so I was searching for a cleanser to help with that – my Paula’s Choice was no longer cutting it. While at Meijer I spotted this cleanser, as the sensitive skin label caught my eye. 2% salacytic acid, NO FRAGRANCE which is a must for me, and aloe etc so its non-drying. I was skeptical since these types of cleansers havent worked for me in the past. But the $3.99 price and sheer desperation made me try it. I started off just at night with my PC gel cleanser in the morning. Its been 2 weeks, and my face has cleared considerably, its not dry or irritated, and Im using it twice a day now. I cringe at the amount of money I could have saved had I found it sooner. I’d give it a 5 but I havent tried it in the winter months yet. And I hate the tube but small setback….

So I have a huge problem with acne, I spent years using rough cleansers trying to clear my acne.
After about 3 years, my acne finally died down. But my face still faced extreme breakouts and post-acne scars.
I bought this product specifically with the sensitive formula because I wanted something gentle on my skin.
Within the first day of use, my face wasn’t as dry.
Within 2 weeks, I was barely seeing any breakouts. Maybe one pimple a week (which was really a game changer for me).
Within 4 weeks, it cleared most of my remaining acne, fought my breakouts more than it advertised it would, and left my skin not feeling AS tight when I washed with it.
I no longer relie on makeup thanks to this product, really changed my face. I will never give this up.
I have brown skin, combination skin (very oily all around, and gets really dry mostly in the winter).

I was spending $40 on a different acne face wash. This has given me the same result! It is drying and I usually use with my Clarasonic followed by Josie Maran Argan Oil. My skin looks great! i use 1 -2x per day and I love it! I have the sensitive skin formula and it works great with my Mia. Most acne products make my skin FReAK out…I am 35 and love it! I never thought I would find such an amazing drug store find.

I have oily skin, for the most part. This cleanser dried my face out like crazy. I didn’t even think that was possible. It didn’t even clear up my pimples. And to top it all off, it smells bad. Not the best product. In fact, it’s probably one of the worst cleansers I’ve ever used.

First I tried St Ives Original Apricot scrub. It worked for a while to keep my skin baby smooth. Then it stopped working, I broke out, and became very oily. I thought the 2% Salicylic acid was what worked and that the little pieces in the scrub was causing all my issues. So I went out and bought this. It ended up being the Salicylic acid being too harsh on my skin. I have since switched to a really gentle cleanser and while my acne isn’t gone I have noticed positive changes. My orange-rind pores on my cheeks are smaller, there’s a TON less oil through out the day, and my skin feels very smooth. If I could get rid of the acne, I’d have my ideal skin. But for now I’ll deal. I wouldn’t use this cleanser if you want nice skin. It’s really harsh and I’d only suggest it if your skin can handle it. If your skin is oily then maybe give it a break. It might work like it did with mine.

I hate this product. It doesn’t clean my skin at all. It leaves me feeling gross. It smells horrible also. It’s just not for me at all.
