I am surprised at how much I enjoyed this product. I originally tried the special rose edition and it was drying and really irritated my eyes. I had already purchased this bottle, the original version so I was stuck with it. I tried it and found it too be lovely. It has a very thin, water like texture that is great for layering doing the seven skin method. Typically, I apply 2-4 layers on my oily skin and it leaves me soft, plump and moisturized without any stickiness of film. I will definitely repurchase after I clear more of my stash.

I was worried about the oily, velvety feel I get from having the oily texture of an on levelled bottle because I am a big fan of this feeling that it gives me a bouncy, balanced feeling when worn back. Once I had it over the moisture level the the oily texture mellowed out and my skin felt like a stronger look. Now I use a lower price in an event to try the product. Thanks Professor Freshman Freshman Pure Rose and Good Good Lotion. I will absolutely use this as a foundation to wipe my eyes.

While all of my bottles were great, this is the same one that they had originally. All I need is a hydrating “stuff bottle” like this but the company says “No Holograms”. So just grab it with two plain white bottles and it’s there. Yes no eyeglasses though, no Flawless Luminances, or any other normal stuffs that have to have oily texture.

I was impressed that it lasted 10/12 hours on its own with only a few heavy papers thrown at it. I did NOT think much of it because my eyes would be covered in it. Had to discard it immediately. Thanks for the Color Bleach Dry Dry Retouch. If I hadn’t bought this back there would have been a problem but it didn’t either. I will probably use this as my foundation when it is worn in combination with rose or a blue beige cover.

I revolted against Missha’s FTE since the reformulation and have been looking for a new essence and I think this is it.
I have rosacea and this stuff is amazing. Very easy application that dries down to a non sticky finish. It has definitely made an improvement to my non-essence previous routine and my skin after a month feels more supple with less redness. I do find if you stop use I lose the glowy (moist) texture of my skin. This quickly rode to HG status in 2018 and I’m worried that the Rose edition week fully replace the original version that I prefer (note: I don’t like the Rose because there’s something irritating in it for me)
I haven’t tried sk-ii to compare, but at the price of this I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for some fermented goodness in your routine.

i think this is one of a good dupe for SK II FTE
it does improve my skin, consistency is just like water, doesn’t take a long time to adsorb on my skin
price is affordable
packaging is similar to SK II, so be careful since it’s made of glass

This review is only for the rose edition of this essence, I have not tried the original.
If Jesus came in the form of skincare…he’d be this essence right here. This product performs MIRACLES!! Really gives my skin the added glow and radiance, instantly, this has become my holy grail. I savour every last drop of this holy water…not only that but it has an impressive and short ingredient list. I’d say it’s a good value since the product is such a large quantity for a decent price (less than $25CAD purchased online).

This essence is a very thin/watery clear liquid. It has a slight rose scent that is quite pleasant and it absorbs very quickly into the skin. I had a large sample that lasted exactly a month and a half. I used it either directly after toning or after using AHAs or BHAs. After two months I, unfortunately did not see any difference in skin tone or any brightening effects. I can’t comment on its firming abilities or wrinkle repair because I do not struggle with these issues. I did find it soothing after using acids and it had some moisturizing properties. I won’t repurchase this product because I have used Secret Key’s Snow White Booster and it works so much better for my skin.
