I purchased the shade Natural Rose, it’s a neutral brownish pink. I love the shade, I am NC20 skin with unpigmented lips and this shade is very flattering on me. It’s not a slightly tinted lip balm it’s more like a creamy moisturising lipstick. I find that UD sheer lipstick in shade Ex Girlfriend is quite similar to this, which btw is a bit more sheer than Pixi. It has a light sweet scent but you can’t smell it once you apply it. It’s very moisturising and it works for dry chapped lips. It has a rich finish and even though it’s moisturising it doesn’t slips around. It feels like butter on the lips and it’s not oily, heavy or waxy. If you like shade like Maybeĺline Nude Beige 630, Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk, UD Ex Girlfriend you will like this shade! One negative thing is that it’s a bit pricey!

I have the shades Pixi Pink and Natural Rose. When I wear tinted lip balm it’s because a want something fast, moisturizing, and low maintenance. These look and feel like a sheer lipstick rather than a tinted lip balm and I would never reapply them without a mirror. Pixi Pink is a beautiful vibrant color, but I must prep my lips so that it won’t settle into lines and dry patches. Natural Rose wasn’t quite as bad but was much darker in person and not very flattering with my complexion.

Like other reviewers have described I also find this to be a very creamy lip balm with a nice hint of color. I purchased “Honey Nectar” which is a neutral nude tone, it is very sheer in terms of color but very rich in terms of a moisturizing balm. Shea butter and vitamin E give this a super creamy feel and the pigment is nice, just a touch of color but not flat in tone. It actually reminds me a bit of the way Bite Beauty’s Agave lip mask in Champagne or Maple looks on the lips. Doesn’t feel anything like that but looks similar in appearance. I like the option of a tinted lip balm when I don’t feel like wearing lipstick and still want to look pulled together. I’m not a huge fan of the packaging. It’s pretty standard for a balm that you can get at the drugstore, but cheap plastic that can actually malfunction and have the tube twist on it’s own in your purse causing the product to move up the chamber is not my idea of quality. Aside from that, I like the way this feels on the lips and does a good job keeping them soft and supple.

I find this to be very creamy and moisturizing enough. There’s a bit of a weird scent to it, but it’s not overwhelming — maybe just kind of vanilla? Natural Rose is kind of a miracle color for me. It’s almost exactly the color of my lips, and it’s precisely as light as I can go without looking washed out. It’s pretty and definitely enhancing but still natural looking. Still $8 at Target!

I’ve been trying this product out for a few months now and I love it!!! I have the shade natural rose and it works well with my light-medium skin tone and I’m using it as my everyday lip product. I’ve been receiving compliments from people saying they love the color of my lips! I will totally buy this again!

This as an “emergency” purchase. I accidentally left my lipstick at home and I was on my way to a wedding. My lipstick was Lipstick Jean Queen, so I was looking for something very similar. Luckily there was a target on the way to the wedding. I was going to buy a nyx lip butter, but I found the Pixi items first. Just looking at the swatches, I thought this lip balm in Natural rose would work great. It has turned out to be a great purchase.
Color works very nicely with my fair skin. Very pigmented almost more like the nyx lip butter lippies rather than a tinted lipbalm. Not drying at all. Wear time was good, 3 hours. I just find the packaging is a little cheap looking.
This lip balm is in my work bag now as I wear it to work daily.

I love this to the moon and back again. It is the perfect everyday lip product for me. It provides natural looking, beautiful color, it keeps my lips soft, healthy, and supple, it smells nice, and the color looks marvelous on my skin.I wear Ripe Raspberry. It’s a pleasure to wear.

I have this in Coral. It is more of a red/orange coral than a pink one (which is my go to colour). Okay, first off this product is in no way what I thought it was going to be – a moisturizing balm w/a tinge of colour. Um, no. What I got was a pigminted, creamy/slippery, non moisturizing shea butter stick. ‘How is the possible?!?’ you say, I still have no idea.
I do not like this product by itself. Being this colour is bright, you need a mirror to apply it accurately – this immediately defeats the purpose of this being a lip balm to me. Who needs a mirror to put on a lip balm? Well, me…now. Secondly, when I do put it on (while looking into said mirror), it feels like a lipstick and not a balm, meaning it doesn’t feel like it’s putting moisture into my lips, and since this product is so creamy, there lies the *slippery texture to this product. It’s very similar to true shea butter – the product is hard when cold, but when pressed against something warm, like skin, the product should ‘melt’ in. When pressed against my warm lips, this product ‘applies’, but it certainly doesn’t feel like it’s melting in/moisturizing my lips.
Now to the brightside – I do like this product on top of my lip pencils, my Coraly Nude Sonia Kashuk one to be precise. It compliments the colour well, adds moisture (being so creamy) and can even out any patchy spots if my lips were dry upon my initial application.
That being said, I think the packaging of this product is all wrong. The balm is shaped like a standard balm stick w/a flat surface, not an angled one, like traditional lipsticks. Being that this particular shade is so bright, it really needs to be applied carefully from the tube or w/a lip pencil (like I use). Other than that, I’m not complaining. The colour of the tube is the colour of the lipstick (coral), the balm itself is sturdy, it doesn’t smush or break easily upon application and the cap snaps securely in place. And for $8 usd, I’d say it’s a deal…for a creamy lipstick and not a lip balm/treatment.

I’m not one for tinted lip balms at all, I forget to put them on and get frustrated when I have to reapply.
I got this in a birchbox and thought it would be a bit meh, but I was wrong!
Its one of those lip products that you can just throw on and it looks great, I have a dry mouth due to medication and I get lots of horrible texture on my lips. I usually find with products like this I get an uneven and bitty look and it just looks awful, but with this it hides all my imperfections in an instant. I have the raspberry one and it really suits my colouring. It has excellent staying powder, to say how creamy it is I was not expecting it to last long but it leaves a beautiful stain.

Majorly pleasant $8 impulse buy. I have it in Ripe Rasbperry and I find the color similar to the Fresh Sugar balm in Tulip, except a little deeper and with a harder, waxier texture. I would 100% classify this as a sheer matte lipstick. You can build this to near-opacity, and there is very little sheen. If you apply on totally bare lips, it looks like straight up lipstick so be aware of that.
I wouldn’t get this if you’re looking for just a balm. I don’t find it dehydrating, but it’s not very moisturizing either — I like to use a light layer of balm underneath, or else the color can get patchy and settle into lines and flakes. That also sheers it out a little, which is what I want. Barring that stuff, it’s sooooo pretty and wears so well! The color instantly brightens my face, and adds a flush of fun, flattering color…it looks especially nice when I have a minimal look going on with mineral foundation etc. It cuts the powderiness in a way and freshens everything up. I’ve also worn it over filled-in lips with matching liner and I love that look, too. It’s multipurpose — use it to freshen up your lips when a reapplication of full-on lipstick isn’t possible, etc etc.
The packaging is really cute and pretty sturdy, the cap covers the whole tube so even if it comes loose a mess likely won’t happen. Since it’s so opaque, the round chapstick-like shape makes application kind of imprecise and the waxy texture means you need a couple of passes.
