The last time I owned a Giorgio Armani products was at least 8 years ago when the 3.R regenessence range was still available. In the last few years, I’ve been learning towards to natural/organic products. Somehow I went to Giorgio Armani facial treatment to indulgence myself after a stressful period at work. The facial treatment was enjoyable and relaxing. At the end of the treatment, SA introduced a few makeup and skincare products to me. I got sucked into this eye cream as my eyes were very tired, dark circles were showing up. Usually, I’m very good with my money and hardly get suck into buying luxury products. Here I go paying not just this eye cream but few other Giorgio Armani products.
Anyhow, I’ve been using this eye cream for at least 2 months. As it’s so expensive (US$180 for 15ml), I only applied a tiny amount around my eyes and massage in the skin. The texture is a slightly thicker cream but is easily blend in and absorb onto the skin. After 2 months in, I can say my eyes are less puffy and dark circles is slightly lighter even on a night with a bad sleep or limited of sleep. The cream does hide my tiredness and something I haven’t came across from all other eye creams I’ve tried.
The packaging is a bit odd, it comes with a mirror at the bottom of the jar which I don’t get. Who carries a pot of eye cream around!?
Overall, I do like the eye cream. Will I repurchase it?… hmm, yes if I can afford it. Was the money well spent?….yes I do feel a difference to an less expensive cream (this can be a psychological effect).
