Smells good. Feels moisturizing. But this is one of those Chapsticks that is so soft when you apply, way too much product comes off….

Cheap & effective. Nothing fancy here. I like that it comes with SPF 15 and a nice minty scent and tingle.

This lip balm severely dried out my outer lips. I was looking online and Blistex seemed pretty good, so I went out and purchased one. A couple of weeks later, I realized my outer lips had become very dry and irritated. It stings when I eat or drink something acidic and feels very uncomfortable.
Although this may work well for others, it didn’t work for me. I would suggest using Nivea or EOS instead.

I used to be a lip-balm junkie– the flavored stuff, the tinted stuff, balm in a pot, balm in a tube, natural balms, high-tech balms… My lips were physiologically dependent on the stuff and I was forever in search of the “perfect” texture. Ironically, my lips got so dry and chapped that I ended up having to slather them in A & D Ointment for days on end! How glamorous!
It’s been many years since I was compulsive about lip balm; now, I just go with what works. I don’t have a chronic problem with lip chapping but I do work in a hospital, where the air is very dry. Therefore I like to keep lipstick or balm on my lips while there, and a “stick” balm is a must due to hygiene concerns. Blistex Mint Medicated has a lovely, glidey consistency and feels creamy and smooth on, yet not overly thin and oily. You definitely feel soothed and nicely protected.
It stays on for a couple of hours, and when it wears off my lips still feel soft. I’ve found Burt’s and ChapStick are both too waxy for my taste, and they don’t feel like they’re really sinking in. The mint flavor in the Blistex isn’t overpowering at all; it’s more like a light fragrance added to make applying the balm more enjoyable.
I wouldn’t recommend this for really cracked or flaking lips, but as a light-duty “maintenance” balm, thumbs up!

I love this lipbalm! Smells so good, I really like the minty feeling. It is also a lip balm that actually works to hydrate, repair and will not make your lips drier in the long run. I will continue using this happily.

Very good lip balm, moisturizes and makes my lips smooth. However if you like the oilier, glossy consistencies of lip balms, this is not for you. Blistex Mint lip balm is a waxy, matte finish and feel. Some may find the mint smell too strong, but I love the tingling sensation it has on my lips. It also doesn’t last on my lips for very long, but it does the job!

So I bought this 2 days ago and I’m already OBSESSED with using it… I absolutely love the minty stinging sensation and it makes my lips so smooth 🙂

It’s just a good default lip balm, ya know? It goes on sheer, it’s maybe a liiiittle waxy. The minty taste isn’t tingly or overwhelming. Just good.

I loved this, but it irritates my lips.

Bought this a few months ago and unfortunately this really doesn’t work for me. I mean, yes it does moisturize my lips nicely but I find that the mintyness of it destroys it for me. The smell is overpowering and it makes me sneeze. I brought this cuba with me and it did not help my lips feel better, even with the spf 15 in it. I’m sad to say that I will not be repurchasing this again.
