The coverage isn’t very good, and isn’t very buildable either.

I bought this a few months ago (without reading any reviews) as I was curious and was hoping to find my new “holy grail” concealer. For someone who has combination skin (oily cheeks & chin and a dry nose/t zone and forehead), this product simply did not work for me. It oxidizes extremely quickly in a matter of minutes, into a dorito-like orange (I got the shade vanilla, which is rather light). The concealer has very light coverage and didn’t cover my pimples at ALL – in fact, it made them stand out more as it was building up AROUND them. It clung to my dry patches and made my nose flake horribly. For $30, this concealer is expensive. There are other concealers for half of the price which do an amazing job. This concealer is not worth it!!

Ugh. I read the prior reviews, but i really hoped this would play nice with my face.
OMG – this is super light coverage. No joke. For the $$$ – right there, don’t buy it. Go buy Burt’s Bees BB cream or something. Better money spent and good light actual coverage for the money.
I don’t even like to wear a ton of makeup/foundation – and wanted something light coverage -but this stuff is TOO LIGHT. Like a prior review mentioned, where the heck does this stuff go? I swabbed some on one side of my face, and buffed it in with a brush (sponge no way) and ….. I had to put on more. After I got the hang of how much I wanted to put on – it buffed out nicely with a brush and did not sit on top of my skin like almost ALL foundations do (leave those little white marks in every pore and then get chalky)..this actually looked nice. I was so happy, even though it took more swipes than I thought.
However, I got to work – and about 2 hours later, looked in the bathroom mirror and it looked like nothing was on my face. It’s like it absorbed into my skin. This doesn’t even give you BB or CC cream coverage, which I consider pretty nice and good light coverage. This stuff is WEAK. I also have oily skin, so that didn’t help and I think it made it break down fast (emollient foundation to be in stick form..)
The upside — Vanilla was a perfect match to my skin tone. PERFECT. And for how well it meshed on my skin? Great.
The bad?? Not worth the price. It was $12 for 0.24 ounces???? ZERO POINT TWO FOUR OUNCES. After seeing how much I needed to swipe on just to get some decent redness covered (I don’t even have pimples!) – I’d use this sucker up in one week, maybe 2 weeks max.
Such a let down. If it didn’t make me more greasy as I get oily – i’d consider using it with other foundations, but I’m afraid it would just make everything more oily. Ugh. I had such high hopes for this. I’d consider returning it -but I think I’ll just keep it for possible concealer or donate it.

I have been using this product ever since it came out and it is a staple of my routine. It provides good coverage and offers shades for yellow-undertone skin like mine (unlike many makeup lines that only cater to pinkish tones). The amount of product is good, even you don’t have to use much of it. And the price is very reasonable for the quality. Will buy again.

Meh – I liked the idea of this for “fast” getting ready days, but it took longer to spread this out than a liquid foundation – so why bother? I tried a BB, brush, but fingers are all that worked in the end.
It clings horribly to any dry spot that others have mentioned below (and I use Argan oil underneath!!)
Love that it has an SPF, thought it would be great for travel. Coverage is too sheer (and I really swipe it on!!)
. And the real telling factor – when I wash off my make-up at the end of the day, there’s hardly any Foundation on my washcloth – where did it go???

After all the great reviews on this product I was really rooting for this one. I’ve been on a search for my perfect foundation ever since I hit 30 and my skin’s texture has changed. Before this I was using L’Oréal pro glow and it was a disaster, even if the shade was a perfect match. This product is just right formula wise, nice and thick texture, sheer to medium coverage and the wear is great (8+ hours), but sadly the tone is all wrong. Too warm/yellow for my cool/pink complexion. I tried finding one that was in the cool color family only to discover all of the light shades in this line are warm/yellow. So bummed and my search continues…

I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation, and also a little bit confused at first. I’m used to stick foundations being medium or high coverage, and this definitely has light coverage, no matter how much I swipe on. I tried using this with a dense kabuki brush and it didn’t seem to blend very well, so I have just been spreading it out with my fingers and have been really like the results. I have some small sun spots and freckles, and a little bit of acne scarring, and this doesn’t cover them, but it DOES even my skintone out and make it look naturally more even. It does fill in my pores and make my face look more poreless, which I really like. The end effect looks very natural, and I don’t look like I’m wearing a lot of base makeup since my skin stills shows through, but it just looks naturally poreless. I have oily skin, and I didn’t wear this on very hot and humid days, but I’ve been wearing it 70/80 degree weather and it lasts all day with a primer underneath. It doesn’t break down or start to look patchy, and I have little oil peeking through until the end of the day. I can see myself using this often, and I keep it in my gym bag for easy and quick foundation application. I just took off one star because the coverage wasn’t what I was expecting.

I really, really like this! And I’m really, really surprised that I like this! I wanted a stick foundation as with 3 kids my getting ready time is minimal and this goes on really quickly. I use primer first then swipe this on and buff it in with a flat top kabuki brush. I then use a little Rimmel stay matte powder on my t-zone and that’s it. I find I don’t really need concealer with it either. It looks great all day and doesn’t break down around my nose either like most foundations do. I use the shade 040 nude and find it an excellent match. Will definitely be repurchasing this!

Was just perusing the latest reviews and realized I hadn’t written about this–despite using it down to the nub. That’s rare for me as I either get dismayed/bored with a product as it doesn’t adjust for seasonal skin changes, it turns color, etc. Have to say that that hasn’t been the case with this Revlon gem. I use the Nude version almost every day to minimize redness around nose, swipe under eyes and inner corners, above lip, etc. It seems to reduce the appearance of large pores and covers very naturally. I usually follow up with a dusting of mineral makeup in the summer and am good to go. It applies nicely with fingers (warms it up a bit) or with a beauty blender. I also love that it has a decent SPF. It’s perfect for travel. A holy grail item for me!

Not sure why so many people dislike this foundation. The shade Nude matches my ridiculously in between skin tone perfectly while most drugstore foundations are either too light or too dark, never just right. The formula itself is so creamy and blends like a dream with a dry sponge where as most stick foundations are rather dry. The coverage is light but since this is so creamy you can really pack it on for more without anything getting cakey and I was able to cover a dark mark with this method. My pores looked so smooth and nothing settled into them which usually results in a look of a million little black dots on my face. It set to a wonderful satin finish, not greasy at all. The reviews initially made me believe that this would be horrible on my acne prone, greasy skin but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. I didn’t touch up at all throughout a long work day with children and by the time I went to powder afterwards my face was barely shiny at all. I still powdered just to be safe (oily skin habit) but the fact that this looked amazing all day when most foundations break down after 2 hours on me is amazing. This is also so light weight that I often forget I even have foundation on as I can barely feel it on the skin. Revlon did so well with this little foundation and I’m happy I tried it. Can’t believe why so many people dislike this.
