This powder takes some time getting used to. Graftobian is one of those brands that is mainly used by the “industry” heads rather than your general makeup lover.
With that being said, this does have talc which I can imagine holds up better under the heat of bright lights, but the tradoff is that it does have a “powdered” look. However, it is superior as far as oil control is concerned.
This powder definitely contains talc though! I have NC47 skin and bought the Translucent but be careful because this powder is super thick and applying too much at a time can make it heavy. It’s also tricky to blend and it can clump up. It isn’t finely milled per se.The trick is to use very thin layers and do NOT use this as a baking powder. You won’t have to bake for oil control with this powder!
With that being said, I think I may get the brown skin tone and mix it with the translucent. I haven’t tested the flash but although the powder DOES look natural in daylight, I wouldn’t be surprised if it showed up under flash.
However…the finish itself is beautiful! I use this along with my Revlon Colorstay C/O 400 and my skin looks flawless! It lasts a very long time and even as my skin starts to get dewy, I notice it holds my foundation together enough that my skin still has a smooth look and my pores never show through. Instead of a dewy look it gives me a nice matte porcelain doll effect. I love it!
The only downside of the packaging of the tub. It literally is a tub. Be sure to have a replacement sifter jar available as using this tub alone is super messy and wastes product.
