Would just like to start off by clarifying that the image under this is not accurate, the image shows the double cleansing pixi + caroline hirons cleanser which is actually pretty good.
Anyway, on to this pixi nourishing cleansing balm, i have never hated any cleansing balm so bad. It is way too rich that it is really thick and gooey and difficult to clean off. It doesnt feel nourishing at all. My cloths get so dirty after wiping this gooey sticky mess off my face that i cant even be bothered with washing the cloths, i just throw them away. It irritates my eyes and always leaves residues in my eye that i would have to clean out when i wake in the morning. It is disgusting, smells bad. very clumpy too. Pls do not ever purchase this

This is the worst product I have ever used. Literally like a glue once spread onto my face and was extremely difficult to remove! Does not emulsify at all and required a washcloth and heavy soap with multiple cleanses to remove. My dry irritated skin was so angry by the time I got this off I looked like a lobster!!
Returned the next day- do not understand this product at all!!!

I have never despised a product more than this sadly to say, when I first applied it on to my face to remove my makeup the product wouldn’t budge or move it was really hard to work with, I had mascara residue transferred all over my face 🙂 and when i tried to wash it off it was still on my skin! it wouldn’t move I had to use another cleanser to remove the product. it was just a huge failll please save your money.

This is the first time that I have been moved to give a review of a product! My daughter bought it for herself but she didn’t like it so she passed it on to me as I love cleansing balms and have probably tried most in my time. I thought she was exaggerating when she said she couldn’t get it off but I have just tried it and she is right!
I can only say that this stuff feels like you are putting lard on your face.. All other cleansing balms I have used have emulsified when removed with water but not this one! In the end I had to get another foaming type cleanser to get it off..never again!!
Having seen other peoples favourable reviews it almost makes me wonder whether my daughter was sold a fake!! Highly unlikely though as she bought it from a legitimate beauty site. Ah well! Maybe it’s just us!!

Don’t care for this. I love cleansing balms and have used a fair number in my life. This one is just okay. I find that even with a washcloth, it leaves behind residue. I found I had to have a few go’s with the washcloth to really get my skin feeling clean, which irritated my sensitive skin, and that’s just no something I’ve had to do with other cleansing balms that are a routine part of my skincare rotation. I’ve used it a few times and every time I wish I hadn’t. Maybe for someone with rhino skin that isn’t prone to clogging, this might be a good option, but it definitely isn’t for me.

This is my cruelty-free version of Pond’s cold crea! The balm turns oily when rubbed in and easily removes all of my eye makeup. You do definitely need to use a wet cloth to remove rather than just water, but I was used to that with my Pond’s. Sometimes I follow with another cleanser, but not always. I have dry skin and I have not had any problems with oily residue when only using this cleanser, but oilier skin types may want to follow it with another. Definitely no leftover makeup!
My only complaint is the price. There is a good bit of product in the container, but $20 is a lot. I will still buy it, though.

I use this product all over my face and eyes to remove full-face foundation, contour, and eye makeup. The balm is, well, quite balmy and requires a wet washcloth to remove before using a final cleanser. I would not recommend using this product as a cleanser alone as it is very oily and does leave behind a residue.
The Pixi Nourishing cleansing balm does remove most makeup with a few wipe of a washcloth. However, I find that there is often leftover makeup on my under eyes, even after spending extra time working the balm into the area. In order to fully remove my mascara and liner, I use a bit of the Clinique ‘Take the Day Off Remover for Lids, Lashes, and Lips’.
This product is almost comparable to Clinique’s ‘Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm’. Same idea, but a huge difference is quality. Clinique’s balm is non-greasy and washes off clean without having to rub with a cloth (which can aggravate sensitive skin). Further, I use over twice the amount of Pixi’s balm to remove my makeup.
This being said, I would pay the extra $9 for the Clinique product and would not repurchase Pixi’s Nourishing cleansing balm.

I’ve only been using this product for about a week but it is definitely my favourite thing to use to take off my make up at the moment. It starts as a balm and as you rub it into your skin it turns into an oily kind substance. It gets your make up off so easily once its rubbed in you can just wipe your make up away with a cloth, it even removes eye make up unlike a lot that say to avoid the eye area. As it is oily I tend to follow this with another cleanser as my skin is naturally oily and it doesn’t leave my skin any more oily than before and the second cleanser helps to remove any excess make up. There are also different ingredients in such as antioxidants and things to help with healing which I really like. The only problem is that it is fairly expensive however, it is a big tub and may last a couple of months. I definitely recommend this product and I will buy it again once mine has run out.
