I bought one of these in the shade “Black” at my local Kmart for $3. The eyeliner has great pigmentation for the price! Whenever I use this to tight line my eyes and it faded throughout the day. It does the same on the waterline as well. The only good thing about this eyeliner is how pitch black it is. The waterproof claim isn’t true and I wouldn’t run out and buy this again.

I just found this in my stash yesterday!! I have the waterproof twist up automatic pencil in Black. I used it today for the 1st time in a couple of yrs it’s been sitting here waiting for me to rediscover it & it is still as good as the day I got it!! It’s still soft not dried out which shocked me. I don’t really even remember where I got it…Walgreens? Ulta? I’ve not checked the DS side of Ulta in forever nor been to a Walgreens in awhile I know they were getting rid of their Prestige awhile back that was prob 2-3 years ago. I find this comparable to Clinique QuickLiners automatic pencils the Prestige Black is like Clinique QuickLiner Intense Sable. It wore well all day long even on waterline. My method is to apply upper lash line (I can’t tightline w pencils just gel) & optional is waterlining/smudged into lower lash line which I did today & I was uber pleased how long it lasted & how it wasn’t dried out surprised the spit out of me. I love finding old forgotten items when they work still is amazing. I have very extreme oily skin & I would highly rec’d this if u like Clinique QuickLiners & have rheumy eyes w oily skin. I’m going to plan to use this sucker up!! It makes ya wonder what other hidden gems my MU collection contents would yield if I went thru the entire dresser that I keep all my stash in. I had no idea I owned this!

I love this eyeliner. I’ve been scowling for the best drugstore watreproof eyeliner pencil after reading countless reviews with trial and error I think I finally found the one. I have very oily and sensitive eyelids. I’ve tried rimmel,Almay, maybelline they all did not work for me, they all smudge, made me look like a racoon and irritated my eyes. All in all this is a very good product. I have the color black and it’s very pigmented and very smooth to apply. I tried it on without using any primer or powder on top of it the staying power is pretty good I only had a tiny build up on the corner of my eye it was not so bad. I would recommend this product and would re purchase when I ran out.

I was torn between Charcoal Brown and Teakwood but I bought charcoal brown anyway. The product is so creamy that it always giving me a hard time sharpening it (coz it breaks off easily) but I dont mind as long as it is waterproof. I put this on my waterline and just above the eyelashes then set it with an eyeshadow then the product stays on for hours! Although it has a tendency to build up on the corner of my eyes (i use a qtip or my fingers to remove excess build up product) overall this is an awesome eyeliner (next to revlon colorstay eyeliner) and not to mention its really cheap! Plus the color range is soooo craaaazzzy youll have a hard time choosing! Im thinking of repurchasing the product again! I want to try charcoal black and teakwood!

My face eats makeup. Even with UDPP (the only primer that works for me) liner will eventually find it’s way to the top of my eye socket. Sometimes it likes to smudge underneath, and not in a cool 90’s Kate Moss heroin chic way. This is the BEST eyeliner I have ever found. On days I just want a quick look, I can even put this over NYX jumbo pencils and it stays. I’ve tried several shades and have been happy with them all. Right now I am using Charcoal Brown…if I want it darker, I’ll add Estee Lauder’s Lavish Mink shadow over it. I’ve tried all the more expensive brands and they were all rubbish to me, dang the oily eyelids. It’s like I have built in eye makeup remover. Anyway, a fantastic drugstore gem, I recommend it to anyone that has oily lids!
P.S. Of course since I love this, Rite Aid stopped carrying this, I can’t find it anywhere. 🙁

I bought this in Charcoal Brown and I love it. It’s a very dark brown, which is exactly what I want (I hate light colored eyeliners since I really cannot see the point in them, pardon the pun). I did a quick, “pick-me-up” look this morning. I drew a line with this on a clean dry lid (no primer, nothing but this), and went over it with a bit of NYX Bel08 Brown Powder Eyeliner for safe measure. That was about 5 hours ago and it still looks intact. This stuff does NOT budge. I don’t mind having to sharpen it (I have NARS’s sharpener which works beautifully with every pencil I have). In fact, I HATE automatic pencils because they don’t last diddly (and I don’t even MU every day). This will last me a long time and I will repurchase when I run out it it. Good quality and cheap. Who could ask for more.

Love this eyeliner. I bought the Rose gold colour for my bottom lash line.
Never budges, smudges or creases even after a hard workout. Easy to remove with eye makeup remover.
Overall a great purchase!
Highly recommend it.

Was told by the sales lady that this product has the best staying power. I tried it once and 3/4 of the way through the day – it smudged. Needless to say, back to the mall to return it.

I love these liners. Seriously, I have it in 6 colors. I like the pale yellow/gold for my inner rim and inner corners. I love the 1l for my everyday liner, 2l is a pretty deep bronzey brown. I like that they are so creamy, like a gel. Make sure you put the cap back on after using it, or they will dry out. These are the only liners that don’t end up on my oily eyelids when I line the top lashline 🙂 oh- these blend great too, but set pretty fast.

Works great, nice texture. Does smudge a bit in the corners of my eyes where they tend to water. Would buy again even though MUFE pencils are expensive.

I was recommended this product by Sephora staff because they said it was used for professional make up studios and it would last really long. I have oily skin and this has always been a problem. Unfortunately, even this does not hold up.. after 3 hours, it finds its way beneath my eyes. I don’t even use it on my lower lash line. I gave it 3 however, because I love how soft it is and the shade of black it is. It is also very manuevorable within the first 20 sec after application. Probably a great eyeliner for people with normal/dry skin 🙂

I have this in “Shimmering Taupe”. It is an easy-to-use chubby pencil that goes on silky smooth with no tugging, skipping or feathering and without feeling oily or thick. It stays on all day and is the perfect silvery-lavender brown that complements my dark brown eyes perfectly for that doe-eyed look. It’s dark enough to give my eyes some “pop” without being harsh or heavy, and it’s so similar to a “your skin but better” look that i can swipe some on almost without looking in the mirror. It’s very comfortable to wear, not heavy at all. A little pricey, but long lasting and gorgeous. It’s my versatile, “desert island” eye product. Would buy again!

My HG eyeliner! I put this on after using Urban Decay Shadow Primer and it stays put all day. Looks freshly applied, no fading, no smearing, just perfect. I’ll never use another eyeliner after trying this one! I’m assuming it’s a mixture of the quality of the primer and the liner! Both are great products!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I was at London Drugs a few years ago to buy the waterproof eyeliner that CLARINS makes, when the “cosmetologist” asked me if I had ever tried the prestige eyeliners? She said they were 3x cheaper and work just as well. So I tried it.. and I was hooked! Made in germany, Super creamy and black! You have up to a minute to work with it before it sets. ( I still havent mastered the art of eyeliner. lol ) it can be smuged out too if thats the look youre going for. Usually priced around $8. But London Drugs had a 40% off sale and I stocked up.. like i bought 15 pencils. Thats how good these are! I use black and the shade called “suede”. its a soft smoky brown colour. I use the one under the eye for some added intensity. and If you ever happen to sleep in your makeup… as long as you dont smear your face into the pillow, your eyeliner will remain the next day 🙂 you will need makeup remover to get it all off tho. I use body shops camomile gentle eye makeup remover. Does not burn the eyes.
The only downside to these when used in the water line is that it will smudge a little on the outside edge after a couple hours.. but its a moist area so can i really blame it? no. actually I dont think Ive ever found a pencil that hasnt smudged b4. do they even exist ?????

For reference: NW10 (up to NW13 when “tanned”), dark brown eyes, combo skin leaning oily in the summer & dry in the winter.
I have this in Teakwood & Star, and I plan on buying more shades soon. These are really lovely, at least the shades I have. Pigmented & soft, AND they stay pristine all day for me until I remove my mu (all day being around 6am – 11pm – that’s 17 hours!!), even on my watery waterline (usually I get some smudging/transfering, especially near the inner corner/tear duct, the whole line will smudge & move down).
Teakwood is a matte darker reddish-brown color with maybe hints of burgundy, it has at least much red as brown but is definitely very toned down. Very unusual shade for an eyeliner, drugstore or HE. At first I was a little concerned that the redness of Teakwood might make my eyes look bloodshot and sick, but to my surprise Teakwood looks very natural & flattering. Maybe because there is naturally some redness in my eye area and Teakwood plays on that. But this red-toned brown looks much more natural & flattering than straight-up brown eyeliner. Some people didn’t even realize I had eyeliner on, just thought I had naturally defined eyes. 😀 I’ve been using this regularly for ~3 months now and for sure will rebuy when I run out.
Star is a slightly frosty/shimmery off-white. It’s nice for the inner corner but it’s sometimes not as opaque as I’d like. In general, I get the feeling that it’s not as nice as Teakwood – Star is less pigmented, slightly “greasier”, doesn’t last AS long, etc. It’s still a very decent eyeliner, but I would not repurchase.
I’d give Teakwood 5/5 and Star a 3.7/5. I gave an overall rating of 5 because Teakwood is so awesome and Star is certainly decent quality, I just personally prefer using eyeshadow for inner corner highlighting instead.
