So this was a blind buy. I bought 2 at once thinking it’s value for money for the amount of product. I have to be honest, it is fairly disappointing. It is not easy to blend. I use a brush and the product tends to stack if I don’t carefully tap it until it leaves a trace and upon application, I need to use the lightest touch because if I somewhat use a bit of pressure, it just looks like I used a finger and tried to wipe off my foundation plus powder and that has happened mostly around my nose area. So I have used the same brush and same foundation with other powders, incl. M.A.C and Nyx and it’s been fine so I have to lean towards the product not being good enough. Also, I notice it does nothing for oily skin. Even with a product in the same price range like Nyx translucent HD powder, I do not have to blot as much. On the other hand, it is a truly hot summer so that might also impact. I will not repurchase and I am not sure I will use the other one I have. I might just give it away.

I absolutely adore this powder. Not only is it mattifying, it keeps my skin appear poreless. Whatever foundation I use, once I gently pressed this powder onto the skin, it locks the foundation in place and it won’t budge.
I find that it works well with Max Factor’s own Face Finity All Day Flawless 3-in-1 Foundation or ESTÉE LAUDER
Double Wear Stay-In-Place foundation, my oil complexion is mattified and flawless. If it does get oily after 5 hours after the makeup is done, I gently blot the face with a clean powder puff, and then press a thin layer of the Max Factor loose powder. All fresh and matte. Highly recommended.

Worst powder I’ve ever used by far. I previously used the compact Max Factor and found it good but made the switch for loose powder. I tried a Seventeen one which was brilliant but decided the more expensive ones would be even better, not that this is too expensive.
Anyway, translucent powders are meant to be see through and I am very fair. This powder is orange and patchy. No use at all for anyone who is pale.

This is pretty good for a drugstore powder. It keeps my makeup set, shine free, and good to go for hours. I mean, there’s nothing special or the best about it but it’s a little more than average. It’s pretty good. You should try it.

It does what it’s supposed to do. It helps keep my face oil and shine free all day long. However one big big con for me is that this product is VERY MESSY. Everytime I use it the powder goes all over the place when I open the lid. Too much powder seeps through the net cover it provides. However for a drugstore powder thi definitely does the job.

First of all, it is NOT translucent at all! I’ve got fair, porcelain-like skin and on my skin it leaves brown patches here and there, screaming from kilometers that I’ve got make up on – something I really hate. It doesn’t blend with my skin tone at all, although I use a really small amount of it.
Pros, that it really gives you a matte finish and fights shine really well throughout the day. But for that price tag (for a drugstore brand) such an awful result… No, no, NO! (Or maybe for far darker, yellow-undertoned skin.)

doesn’t worth the money, the final look is unnatural when I put over my MUFE HD foundation, it’s too much for me, my foundation look better without it, but honestly I will not pass it any where, I find that I can use it alone over a primer.

I’m 40 years old and I have VERY oily skin. I need to constantly apply powder to keep my nose from shining like a light bulb. Although this powder is not as mattifying as I would like, it is the best I’ve tried in terms of finish. You don’t see ANY powder on your face at all. it gives your skin a soft focus glow, and you can reapply it as many times as you like, and it never gets cakey. In my case, since I am so oily, I apply about 4-5 times a day.
I’ve tried many high end powders, Mac Jacobs, By terry, Chantecaille to name a few, but this one gives the most beautiful finish. None of them keep me matte for as long as I like, but because my skin is insanely oily. For the other 99.9% of the population out there, this powder is amazing, if you can afford it!!

Hum.. I just retuned mine. I just was never excited to use it. I like the fact this did not give me glitter face like with lamer. But it just didn’t really do much. I did not give me a “photo shop” effect like other have said. I guess it set the make up. It was a very fine powder which was good. The pink tint didn’t do anything to my complexion. The packaging is TERRIBLE. The powder spills out the sides when you close and a lot is wasted and it was annoying to open and use. I just didn’t really think it was worth the money but was not a bad product.

This powder made my skin looked baby soft! The finish is airbrushed and soft-focus. Beautiful and simple. The powder puff that comes with it is so bunny soft and it distributes the product much better than using a powder brush. Oil-control is not the best, I get shiny after 3 hours. The coverage is very sheer, may need to touch up for more coverage.
It’s overall a very good powder. Love it!

$150 for a POWDER? People may tell me I’m nuts… but this is Such a gem! If you want the “I photoshopped my face” effect, try this powder….
The 30 something year old CDP lady at the counter has porcelain flawless skin..and this is her secret. She has very similar color as me, and the pink in the powder does not show up AT ALL. You cant go overboard either because it’s SO finely milled. You can put 3 layers of this and not show up cakey. MY HG.
For reference I’ve tried:
HD powder: Great but makes me paler
NARS LRPP: Great, but makes my shine come back sooner
MAC mineral: Terrible, not finely milled at all

Unfortunately I love this powder…it gives me a nice matt finish in the beginning and gets a really nice glow without highliter. My problem is price and the packaging is a bit clumsy and they keep changing the package so I also don’t like that I have to spend a very large amoung of money on powder box or whatever it is called.

Oh Cle de Peu how I do love you. This powder is so finely milled and a little does go a very long way. I have owned this for 6 – 8 months and tried over various foundations and BB creams – it partners beautifully with them all.
This comes in quite a decent sized container and I believe you can buy refills? The powder puff inside is soft and lux though I never use it. I really like how the inner design has a separate lid from the container lid to stop it getting too messy. (will include photos above to show this) It has a mesh insert inside but as the powder is so fine a lot still comes up through the mesh when pushed down. So would not make the best travel companion.
I find this powder fine enough to set under eye concealer and especially flawless if done with a tip of a slightly dampened and dried off beauty blender. I have used all sorts of brushes to apply this my current favourite method which seems to be working really well over any foundation are the Sedona Lace 850 angled and RT contour brush – just little areas at a time leaves a flawless finish and non-powdery look.
The powder does look to have a slight “pinkish” hue to it however it is translucent and definately does not leave a pink cast on my NC15 skintone. Nor does it make me look white. It really is one of my favourites and I will happily enjoy this Cle de Peu product for a long time to come – unless I work out how to actually grow a money tree and buy more from the range 🙂

I was very looking forward to use this powder but I didn’t like it at all. My skin looks sooo dry and some reasons got so white. I tried few different liquid foundations but didn’t work non of them.

I got this loose translucent powder around last year end, and have been using it most of the time when I go out – even for school, on a daily basis. It’s a tiny packaging, but it lasts pretty long.
I got the one in yellow (as recommended by the SA). I just put on my Dior foundation and set it with this translucent loose powder and tadaaaa, it lasts for about 7 hours and keeps my T zone oil-free. I have to say this is the only setting powder so far that really keeps me matte. I realise that when I set it with my Mac Fix+ it can last longer as well.
I live in Singapore where the weather is always sunny and humid, so the fact that it can keep my T zone oil-free is pretty impressive. Also, I have a sensitive combination skin type and I’ve not experience any breakouts from this yet.
Overall, this translucent powder is great and I’ll most likely purchase it again after I finish using it.

I have this in 216, which is the white/clear version. It is supposed to set foundation with a long lasting matte finish. Silica and treated mica are supposed to absorb sebum. It comes in a small jar with a little puff and costs $12. I purchased this in March 2014 in person at the Macys in Boca Raton, Florida. At that time, I knew nothing about Inglot, so I only purchased the powder. This was definitely not an impressive introduction to this cosmetics line. The finish isn’t matte, and it doesn’t absorb sebum. I have to keep going over the same areas to try to get a more matte look, and it cakes up but it doesn’t actually mattify. My pores look exactly the same after applying this as they did before–no minimization whatsoever. I do not know how it looks in photos, but I would not wear this for photos because I don’t like the way it looks in person.

I got this in the colour 217 (yellow). I felt yellow counteracts my undereye dark circles the best. This powder is very fine with alittle fine shimmers in it. This brightens without caking my concealer. I love how smooth it feels. It comes in a 1.5g container with a powder puff. Very small but loose powders lasts forever for me so i really prefer buying smaller products. It cost less than Mac for similar products. Overall i’m very pleased.

…maybe its not a miracle…but I think it does its job 😉 Ive tried a lot of worse loose powders, and I cant remember if Ive tried something better than this, maybe not 😉 and it doesnt break out me at all… sooo when you want to fix yout make up well and control your skin shine to 4-6 hour – try it 😉

Unlike the others I don’t find this product heavy at all. I only apply a thin layer however as I use it to set my foundation. I have a very oily t zone, and this controls the shine on my face amazingly. I wear a lot of fake tan and so have dark skin pretty much all the time, this means that I also have no problems with the colour.

Love this loose powder!
Just bought it the other day and use it today.After my P&J primer,i don’t wanna give my skin such a heavy burden by using make-ups.So for oil control reason I just put some loose powder on my face,it is a translucent color perfect for my medium skin (my skin is a bit soft peach color,red rather than yellow).And the whole day I didn’t use any plotting paper or put on any more powder,it controls the oil on my t zone so perfectly for the whole day and I have a matt face I like so much!

This is a beautiful loose powder, my favorite after Chanel Poudre Universelle. The difference between these two is that Chanel offers more coverage and oil control, while the Cle de Peau is super sheer with a brightening effect. It is also less powdery, and upon setting my makeup, I cannot even see a trace of any powder. The color is a very pale pinkish white, however, it doesn’t lighten the color of my foundation as it is translucent. I imagine it could appear ashy though on darker and very warm-toned skin. It also has subtle shimmery particles in it, but not as much as La Mer Translucent or Koh Gen Do Natural Lighting powder. It disappears into the skin after powdering. It just sets the makeup very naturally, with no color or shimmer visible. It also doesn’t dull the finish of foundation at all. Because I have oily skin, I don’t find this is the best to use always as it doesn’t do much for stopping shine. However, I like to use this as a finishing powder over my regular loose powder at times, because it gives a beautiful porcelain glow similar to Guerlain Meteorites in Teint Rose. It also works nicely over the Cream foundation, which has a matte finish, so this sets it very naturally with a bit of glow. Overall, It is a very high-quality powder that is worth trying!

Something about this loose powder makes me feel mature and sophisticated. Maybe it’s the vintage looking packaging but I definitely feel like a classy lady when using this powder. I was tossing up between this and T. LeClerc and went with CDP because I just wanted a translucent powder and T.LeClerc had too many colour options. CDP is also the most expensive loose powder I have ever purchased but it is undoubtedly an excellent product. The powder is very soft and finely milled, blends well and great for setting makeup. It also does not leave me looking chalky. The box is generously sized, contains a sieve (which slightly helps control the amount of product you use and minimise wastage) and will surely last me a long time.

I got this loose powder as a sample when asking about the CDP pressed powder. The SA said they basically give the same effect. I’m hoping the pressed powder will be the same finish as the loose but in a travel friendly package.
I really like this loose powder – like the slight pink which keeps the powder from looking too yellow or too ashy as the neutral beige powders tend to on me. The coloring is translucent with just that slight pink which just gives a brightness to my face. It also has very subtle sparkle but so subtle that it really doesn’t show unless you are specifically looking for it and looking very closely. Usually I hate the sparkle but this one does it right.
The feel of this powder is divine – very finely milled with a so soft finish on the face. Really very soft look and feel and doesn’t settle into lines or pores.
My daily at home loose powder is Ben Nye in fair which is do cheap and works nicely. It might be a few years before I run out of the BN. But when I do, this CDP will be my replacement. I just hope the CDP pressed powder I ordered is as good as the loose powder.
