I bought this because it was inexpensive and frankly, I was curious. I bought Cherry, because I usually wear red lipstick.
It goes on fine. The packaging works well (although Lord help you if you happened to spill the bottle!) and the sponge applicator applies the watery product fairly evenly. I say “fairly”, because it is a VERY thin consistency. You will need to apply several layers of this to get a look that isn’t “splotchy”. And by several, I mean probably at least four, allowing the product to dry between layers.
I like the look well enough. It gives a little bit of color without the lipstick look. It would be good for “no makeup” days when you are just looking for a bit of color on your face. But be prepared to reapply often. It wears off after eating or drinking. You’ll be visiting a mirror often. And when it starts to wear off, it can look a little “splotchy”.
SOOO, I would not repurchase this. Although with the amount of product, I won’t run out anytime soon!

Less intense and less durable tint compared to the Dear Darling gel lip tint – does create a sheer veil of colour on lips, but lasts maybe 2 hours tops and less if you eat or drink anything. It’s a very watery solution & looks like orange food colouring. The bottle has a plastic screw top with doe foot applicator on the underside, once this is removed you have to be super careful not to knock it over as the lip tint will just pour out all over the place. There’s no safety seal or one-way valve to stop it coming out the neck of the bottle.
This is cheap and cheerful, but for the same price, you can get the gel tint from this brand which has a greater range of colours, is practically bulletproof once dry (I need to remove it with make-up remover!), and comes in a lipgloss tube thing that doesn’t spill anything. I’d recommend just to go for that one instead.

I have this in the cherry tint. Beautiful color but when applied to the lips, it doesn’t last long at all. Better for the cheeks.

I like the color but not the product.
The price is cheap for a tint, but not with the quality.
When I used it the color didn’t show up too much and not showing up on my upper lips, even when i put foundation before applying
it’s very far from my expectation. Kinda dissapointed with this water tint. But it smells good. easy to dissapear. Simple bottle and simple packaging.

It would be inaccurate to describe this as a Benetint Rose dupe, and that is because, despite the obvious similarities, the Etude House water tint is far superior, in my opinion. EH upped Benetint in these ways:
1. Etude House Dear Darling water tint is cheaper by far
2. It lasts longer on your lips
3. Its sponge tip applicator is better than Benetint’s ‘nail polish style’ brush applicator
The only criticism I have is that the EH tint tends to dry my lips a bit, but then again Benetint does this too (though perhaps not as much as this one does). And besides, this can easily be relieved with the use of a lip blam/moisturiser on top.
I really liked Benetint (and I still do), but I am happy to have found a cheaper alternative.
