I give this 2 stars solely because Hempz’ body lotions moisturize very well, however… the smell…OMG, the smell…!!! I’m a little sensitive to fragrances, and I really dislike anything that is scented heavily and sweet – no vanilla, coconut, sugar, caramel, etc for me. I’ve been able to use the Palmolive hand soap though, although I didn’t really enjoy the smell. This body lotion was not only heavily scented, but smells VERY sweet – it’s really heavy on the honey. It’s not that I just dislike the smell… it actually made me nauseous and I had to wash it off right away. I can’t describe it as smelling synthetic or weird – it’s just very overly sweet to me. I love the taste and smell of milk, honey, milk and honey. I strongly dislike the smell of this lotion.
It is a very good moisturizer (I would totally use this in a different scent), but I can’t handle the smell. It has very good reviews on Ulta’s site though, so if you’re one of the people that like very sweet smells, you might love this. If you decide to wear this, please keep far away from me…
