I don’t wear lipstick very often – probably twice a month, but when I do I like them bold and bright! The only problem with that, as anyone who wears a strong color knows, is that they tend to feather or smear well beyond where they should be once you’ve had a long night out and partied too hard, or rather because they are not so subtle they appear much more obvious than lighter shades. Enter ‘No bleeding Lips by Know Cosmetics’: you draw a line outside your lips and it creates a completely invisible barrier to prevent your lipstick from travelling past that line. And I have put this to the test many a time over the years, with different brands, colors and durations, and it’s worked fantastically each and every time. A definite re-purchase for me.

i just bought this product today, it works okay i guess. i found it dried the part where i put it on so thats why it didnt bleed. not a fan of the packaging, when i tried to twist it, it didnt go up so u had to do it manually and when i pushed it back down it snapped in half. the only good thing is that shoppers has a promi if u buy the product u get an addtl 2000 optimum points and it was only 12 bucks. i wouldnt buy this product again.

This lip liner is great. As a rule I hate lip liner, I very rarely use it. Despite this I love this product. Works well with my occ lippies which are the only lip products I can’t wear without a lip liner.

Does exactly what it says it does! I always apply this before I apply a rich coloured lipstick and it does not feather or bleed as long as I have this around my lips. It is a bit pricey but I’ve had this for quite awhile so will only have to purchase maybe once or twice a year. Love this product!!

I hate that look of “stranded lip liner” – the look of dark lip liner and either no lipstick or the co-ordinating lipstick has worn off (I’m never sure, when I see women sporting this look, if it’s the former – deliberate but unattractive – or the latter – unfortunate but equally unattractive) but it’s a look I never wanted to end up with so the only coloured lip liners I own are those that are very close to my natural lip colour (shades like MAC Dervish). Quite some time ago, I bought a wonderful product from Lise Watier called “Virtual Lip Liner” – basically a colourless lipliner that keeps deeper, darker colours – vibrant reds or pinks – from bleeding (since all my other lip liners are more pale berry colour). It is a phenomenal product. But a while ago, I was at Shopper’s Drug Mart and the cosmetician raved about No Bleeding Lips which is a very similar product to the Lise Watier one so I figured “what the heck, I’ll give it a try”. I have to say that I don’t like this product nearly as much as the Lise Watier one. It wears down REALLY fast (I guess the LW one is a bit harder and therefore it deposits less “wax”). With No Bleeding Lips, if you twist up too much, you cannot retract the product in the pencil. All in all, while this isn’t a horrible product, it’s nowhere near as good as the Virtual Lip Liner from Lise Watier.
HOW WEIRD IS TH IS??? When I started to add my review, there was only one other from some months ago, but it looks like while I was writing my review of this product, someone else was posting theirs and our reviews are only moments apart! Odd coincidence!

I recently picked up a Lancome l’Absolu Creme de Mat. The colour and texture are beautiful, but when I wore it out one night it feathered like crazy. I did eat some foods that were a little oily, but I’ve never had such an issue with feathering so I started looking for an anti-feathering liner.
I chose this one because I saw good reviews, and also the price is right. It is 15$CAD whereas some other ones were easily 20-30$. The product is clear, and you just outline your lips with it to create an invisible barrier to keep the colour in. I tried the same colour with this liner and wore it all day and there was zero feathering. Since the product is clear, you can use it with any lip color which is great.
The packaging is a twist up pen type and its black with a bright pink lettering which is nice and sleek. There is a warning on the packaging that you should only twist out whatever product you need as you can’t twist it back in so keep that in mind.
This is a great product and I can’t think of anything bad to say about it.

This silicone based lip liner is actually exclusive to Shoppers Drugmart. I decided to try this product after watching 2 reviews on youtube. No bleeding lips is a clear lip liner that actually prevents your lip gloss or lip stick from feathering or bleeding. I’m actually testing this product at the moment with my MAC cremesheen lipgloss. To use the product, All i have to do is trace the lip liner around the outside of my lips. Lol you read that right, i trace the outside of my lips to create that invisible barrier and then i applied my lipgloss. My verdict…Wow!!! This thing actually works. It’s like lip liner insurance. Lol I’m actually not experiencing any smearing or feathering in the outercorners of my lips which i usually get when wearing the gloss alone. This product actually works and cost me $15.74 including tax. I think this product would work great for people who want to wear a bold colored lipstick or lipgloss without having to worry about having smeared clown looking lips by the end of the night. The only Con i have on this product is that it’s non retractable, so be careful when twisting the product, use only what you need or it’ll all go to waste. Now that i’ve tried this product, i’ll be sporting the bold red lips from time to time with confidence knowing that it wont be feathering or smearing around my lips when using this bad boy. 🙂
