OMG! I LOVE THIS BRUSH SO MUCH!! This brush works perfect with the foundation- and retract it a little to get a tighter brush to go over/spot treat areas. I use only this brush now for my powder face makeup.

I got this free in a kit and I am glad I did not pay for it…flimsy and did not pick up product. Packaging is nice

Love it, comparable to that K word brush

It looks like this brush has been re-designed or there are two versions as mine has the same name but the head is bigger. I got mine in 2013 so I’ve given it a fair trial. My brush is very good quality and I love the idea of it being retractable. Unfortunately it’s a little too stiff to be any good other than for stippling, which I don’t need it for. If I use it to apply my Balance n’ Brighten powder foundation (which it comes with) it ends up taking off my make-up as the head has a slightly abrasive quality despite the individual hairs being soft. I think the hairs are packed too densely.

I saw Laura on one of the shopping channels with this and I really did not think I would like this brush that much, but I really do. I usually use it the most with the bristles tight and small so I get a deeper more complete coverage. This brush is soft, never sheds and cleans easily. I am so impressed with the easy coverage this provides. It is so simple to twist and adjust the brush to get the coverage I want. And it works perfectly with the Balance n Brighten Fair. It really helps swirl the colors perfectly. One of the best brushes I have in my collection.

I’m surprised this got bad reviews! I love this brush for application of my Laura Geller Balance N Brighten foundation, and also the Ethereal Rose powder which I use as a blush. This brush is made with synthetic bristles, and it is super soft!!! It is very comparable to the Bare Escentuals soft focus face brush. The Laura Geller one has the advantage of being retractable, which is great if you ever want to throw it in your purse! I actually bought a 2nd one of these, so I can keep one in the m/u bag in my purse. Awesome brush, IMO. I also love that if you want the brush to pick up more product, you just back the brush in a little, and it packs in the bristles… hence heavier product application. It’s completely adjustable depending on how loose/tight you want the brush depending on what you are using it for.

ok, i received in a kit, thankfullly i didn’t buy it. When i used it, it wasn’t great , picked- up too much product and held way to much =. When i washed… it smelled so bad , I had to throw out my LGbrushes. My 4 brushes smelled like gas and wet dog. It was bad, and i used brush cleaner on others and they were fine. Too bad cause i love her make up.

I usually only use Body Shop brushes but this isn’t bad.
It doesn’t pick up much (which can be useful sometimes) but if you push the tube so its a bit tighter it picks up more- I have to do this with the B&Brighten to get any coverage.
I like the size, the BS one I have is larger and a bit more clumsy.
Better than some of LG’s brushes, although I think her brushes are improving. like the eye rimz one.
the tiny kabuki with the cover was truly awful.

This synthetic, retractable Baked Powder Brush came in the “Eye Dream of Italy” kit. Eh. The bristles are way too soft for application of the Balance-n-Brighten – it didn’t pick up anything. I could use it as a travel blush brush because I like retractability. If I were to lose it somewhere in the middle of the Pacific, I wouldn’t care.
