It’s okay, it good enough for me to pop in my bag in case I need a lip balm for later but it’s not good enough to be my first choice or something that I apply before bed. This would be better for all of you who do not really have dry lips and are just looking for a lighter lip balm. I have chronically dry lips and sometimes this just isn’t enough. I am also not a fan of a minty feeling in my lip balms.

Ok, this is kind of a tough one for me because it has both pros and cons.
Cons: jar application, but it’s such a cheap little jar! so flimsy and I feel that it’s not sturdy nor does it feel like its price (which is a good bit of $$ for a lip balm). It doesn’t last a long time. I tend to go for thicker lip balms at bedtime and this one does not feel like it’s doing its job in the morning.
Redeeming qualities: I love the minty sensation on the lips. Surprisingly, I love the glossy finish it leaves on my lips. I think I will be changing it to a day time balm b/c I like the finish so much. I think if I were to finish, I would invest in a tinted one and wear it day time only. Unfortunately this pot packaging isn’t as friendly to day time wear as it can get unsanitary.
Even then, I think I would still consider repurchasing given that I love the natural glossy sheen it leaves my lips looking plump and juicy without tacky.

Best lip treatment I ever had for my extremely dry, sensitive lips! The only con is the price which is very high for a lip product but it definitely does wonders. I love the smooth texture and the cooling effect after applying it. Lips feel soft and nourished and plumped. Works amazing as a primer for lipstick, leaving enough time for it to be absorbed. Wish it was coming in a chapstick packaging rather than a pot just for convenience. Before I always had to exfoliate my lips using lip scrubs just to remove all those dry flakes but after finding this balm, I no longer have to do it or at least not as frequent because dryness is not an issue anymore. Definitely repurchasing

This lip balm has a nice, somewhat sticky consistency, a bit like the Chanel lip balm in a pot. But unlike Chanel the Eve Lom one has ridiculous amounts of menthol in it, so much that it actually hurts my lips. Menthol is a known irritant. In addition to that, the results with this lip balm are terrible, my lips are even more dry, peeling and irritated than before. Do not buy this lip balm if you have even remotely sensitive lips.

I got this in a set with the cleanser (skip the orignal, spring for the morning cleanser instead BTW), and I’d have to say that I’d never buy this for full price (or any price for that matter). My lips are always dry so I’m never without lip balm. I’m a huge fan of Burts Bees, Alba, and Fresh lip balms because they do a good job at keeping my lips moisturized for hours and the last 2 have SPF, but this lip balm offers… nothing much if you want a moisturizing lip balm. It actually seems to dry my lips out so I have to reapply pretty much every hour on the hour. I do, however, like the fact that it can be slightly glossy and that it has a minty tingle, but for the price and quality, either save your money for Fresh lip balms or just get Burts bees for better moisture and the minty tingle. I can’t wait for this to run out, and I will not be repurchasing.

I received a full-size sample of the Eve Lom Kiss Mix when I was suckered into getting the cleanser (nope!). Despite the bad effects the cleanser had on my skin, the Kiss Mix has been in my bag ever since. It’s my go-to to get a fresh and glowing look in seconds. The mint brings out a little natural color and the texture isn’t greasy at all – very natural and simple. It’s my favorite before-bed/after face cleansing product to still feel pretty at bedtime. I would love to purchase again but $25 for a fancy chapstick is sort of absurd. I do love it, though!

I am someone who applies lip balm 5-10 times a day and who has been doing this for 15 years. My HG lip balm is Burts Bees. 5 tubes running at the same time in different locations.
Kiss Kiss was included in a lovely xmas set- otherwise I would not have thought to purchase it.
It reminds me of an upmarket but much less hygienic version of blistex- because Kiss Kiss is in- a- pot. Although it is a pretty dainty white pot, I really really hate dipping my fingers into pots in the winter when viruses are easily transmitted. I use public transport so I only use this at home.
There is a strong menthol smell and Kiss Kiss is an unusual slimy gloopey texture that sits on your lips for some time. Yet one finds they can adjust to that texture…….
The menthol is soothing, and I find that when my lips are cracking and dry, that this product works well to soothe and heal them.
This was surprisingly good but gosh I really HATE the pot packaging. For that reason I would not repurchase.

I love this stuff. It’s tingly when you put it on and does a pretty good job of hydrating. I haven’t found it drying like some other reviewers, however I use thus occasionally. I feels really luxe applying it and it seems like more of a treatment and not a daily hydrator. This being said I love it and have received 2 in Eve Lom travel kits. (Good way to try)

Since I have lifelong dry, peeling, generally temperamental lips, hunting down treatments is an obsession.
This is NOT a balm in the Carmex, Fresh, Philosophy, etc way. What it does – at least for me – is seriously soften my lips in advance of applying lipstick. I apply it, leave it on my lips for about 2-5 minutes max, and then tissue it off. It leaves my lips prepped for heavy lipstick, especially mattes.
For those who complain that it makes their lips dryer, I personally don’t think it’s meant to be kept on the lips for a long period of time, particularly as a replacement for lipstick. The menthol probably does a fair share of drying but also the formula isn’t really a longterm soothing balm.
Also, a bit of advice learned unfortunately first-hand: if you apply it by fingertip, which is probably the only way it’s used, DON’T then use those fingers to apply anything around your eyes. Wow, that burns. It’s pretty easy to apply it and let it seep in while you apply other makeup but that is not a good idea.

Yes, a very average product for hydrating the lips – however, it gives an absolutely beautiful gloss to ones lips. A really nice nude gloss that does not have a pink base. i love it just for this reason. almost a milky gloss. gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.
cute packaging, just not great for hygiene.
no good at hydrating. i stick to the nivea lip balm stocks for that.
