I bought this product from a local supermarket. I was looking for a cruelty-free foundation with a good price and as this foundation was suggested by many reviewers I decided to give it a try. The foundation is easy to put on, it’s very silky and won’t stay cakey. However, it is not the best choice for oily or acne-prone skin because it will get shiny quite quickly. In addition it did make my acne worse. In conclusion, it’s probably a great product for dry or normal skin, but if you have oily or acne-prone skin I’d suggest to choose a different product.

Gosh cosmetics is a cruelty free brand. I personally bought this foundation at my local Shoppers Drug Mart for 20 dollars Canadian.
I love this foundation – with that said, I would completely ignore its name/description. I personally prefer a more natural look, and so I typically lean more towards BB creams or light coverage foundations. The description says that this is a long wearing, matte foundation, with exceptional coverage, which I think is a bit of a stretch. I have combination skin which leans more oily in the summer. I do not personally find this to be matte but! With a powder and setting spray it is easily made matte. Without any powder the foundation looks more glowy. I personally prefer this foundation in the fall/winter, though. In the hot (30 degrees Celsius) it doesn’t hold up very well.
Exceptional coverage is not how I would describe this. It is light coverage, in my opinion. Light to medium at best. It perks my skin up but doesn’t cover acne or under eye circles completely. I still need to use concealer with this foundation. However, that is the type of coverage I enjoy!
I am *very* pleased with the shades! I have some tricky skin when it comes to matching foundations. I am rather pale (porcelain in this line) but just a touch yellow. If a foundation is even slightly pink it’ll either oxidize like crazy or it just doesn’t match. If a foundation is too yellow, it doesn’t match either. This is a nice middle ground of still being pale enough for me without butting heads with my undertones. In the summer when I tan ever so slightly I can bump up to the second shade in the line and it matches nicely as well!
I apply this with a damp beauty sponge. I wish I got a bit more foundation for the price but it matches me so well I’ll continue to buy it.

I bought this product thinking that it would be better than what I normally bought because it was more expensive. However, I could not be more disappointed! You should know that I do naturally have an oily face, but this product took it to a whole new level. The first day that I wore it my face became to oily that it looked shinier than a mirror and I was at work so all I could do was try to dab the oil off with paper towel. It also caused me to have a massive breakout. I had gotten that many zits in that short of a time since high school. Plus, the other night when I was wearing it a second time, I laid my face on my boyfriend’s chest while cuddling and my foundation came off like a mask and was left on his black shirt. If I even touch my face while wearing this foundation, it comes off because of how much oil it creates on my face. I can only see this product working for people who have skin drier than the dessert. But for anyone who has oily skin DO NOT BUY!!! And on a side note, it also provides very bad coverage just to add on to everything else (I bought the porcelain shade).

So far the best foundation i’ve tried! i don’t care much for foundation so i don’t usually go around trying to find the best but with most foundations i have bought in the past, they’ve all been too dark or had a pink undertone where my undertone is yellow and it’s very hard to find my colour. The colour of my neck is much lighter than my face and i want a foundation to match my face to my neck and porcelain really worked! it was a bit in the light side for me but i just put some tinted pounder over it and it’s perfect <3 the consistency is very creamy and hydrating and it's very good for my conbination skin type. I really like that its buildable and you can get full coverage without it ending up looking cakey but i've noticed that it doesn't last the whole day but my gerard cosmetics setting spray really helps it stay on! Overall, i would totally recommend this foundation as it's by far my favourite ❤️

Disclaimer: it’s really important to look at reviewers who have similar characteristics to you. I have very dry skin (not oily or combination), I am extremely fair, and I also have sensitive temperamental skin. I tend not to like putting any moisturisers or foundations on if they’re scented.
Overall:
This is my favourite foundation. I’ve tried all kinds, and this covers all of the bases for me!
1) Colour match: I am very fair skinned (almost see through) and foundations tend to be too warm/orangey, or have too much of a pink undertone. I need extremely fair and neutral foundation tones, so it’s not just the shades available, but also the tone of the shades that have really worked for me.
2) Consistency: The foundation is creamy and can be layered/built up, or just used for under eyes and spot treatment. It works very well for me because it is somewhat moisturizing, and my skin is VERY dry. If you have oily or combination skin it might not be for you. If you get oily part way through the day, then you might want to use something denser, or a powder. If you have dry skin, it’s excellent. (Because my skin is so dry, I usually moisturize first, but if your skin isn’t too dry, then you can probably get away without moisturizing because the foundation is so creamy. For just spot coverage, I usually apply it to my problem spots and under eye area, then dab with the tips of my fingers or use a blender to blend it in. For fuller coverage, I add a little more foundation to blotchy areas of my skin, then blend it out gently. Let it set a little before blending.
3) Moisturizing: Again, very creamy, and it also has vitamin e. I really can’t stress enough that my skin is very dry, and this foundation seems to help me. (side note: I think that you can also get it with SPF)
4) Multi-purpose: I mentioned above that the foundation is easy to blend and spread if you have dry skin, and that it can be used for spot treatment, or fuller coverage. The last comment to add is that it is also excellent for creating a flawless look when set with powder. The foundation’s own moisture really helps hold the foundation powder on the skin, and adding powder will help the foundation to last all day.
5) Not shiney: The foundation is matte when it sets fully.
6) No perfume. I can’t stand foundations that smell like things… after adding deodorant and perfume and everything else, it’s just too much. I like this foundation because it’s scent free.
7) Sensative: I have sensitive skin, and this foundation has never caused me to break out.
Really no complaints, unless you wanted totally full coverage without having to blend or layer.. but you can definitely layer this foundation, and for full coverage, just add a nice setting powder.
I have bought this foundation over and over, and even when I try other things, I always come back to this!

the foundation is overall nice. the pigmentation and colour of the product is really nice! I have very fair skin so its hard to find a good foundation that isnt too dark. this one was great. it made me break out a little but my skin only reacted the first two days. The consistency is thin and feels light on your face however it does get shiny through out the day. I just blot my face once throughout the day and its fine. The only thing I really dont like is the price. you get so little for the 20 dollars youre paying.

I love this stuff. This was one of the first foundations I ever used as it was cheap and the lightest colour matched my Casper pale skin nicely. I recently rediscovered it after switching to cruelty free makeup and I love it even more now. The coverage is medium to full – it covers the rosacea on my cheeks well – and does not feel heavy on the skin. The finish is quite matte but I like to powder it anyway to set it. It has no SPF so it photographs beautifully.

I was using this foundation for over 3 years as it was lightest shade I could find in my town – Porcelain. It provides decent coverage, however, in around 3-4 hours it starts slipping of my face and looking oily and flaky,. However, doing touch ups on the foundation you already have on your face is quite easy with this product. And recently, I think they changed the formula as it started to oxidise horribly on my face. In about an hour from the actual application some patches turn bright orange. when I first saw this I though I spilled some coffe near my mouth, but it was actually the foundation! With a make-up fixing spray it can last an hour longer. Overall it has nice texture for finger application and a good packaging, though leaks sometimes. Overall, if you have no problem in finding your right shade amongst other brands – would not recommend.

This foundation is okay
It is one of the few that is not way too dark for my fair skin, but still a little darker, not too much but noticeable enough
It was not very long lasting on my skin… The coverage is medium I think
One good thing is that a small amount of product spreads easily on the face so you don’t use a lot of product and it ends up lasting well
So, not great but not so bad, it’s okay

Wow, I really like this foundation. It is light textured but gives excellent coverage. I can’t believe how well it covers without being heavy at all. It stays on my combination skin all day giving a soft matte, not dry looking, finish. It is very smooth too, not cakey like so many foundations I’ve tried. I used the shade Porcelain but it is a tad pink; if it were the same shade as their cc cream porcelain shade, it would be my perfect foundation!
6/29 – I just changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I bought a new one today & noticed the writing on the tube looked different from my present one which would be the older version. I checked the ingredients and they differ a bit from the older version too but that’s not why I changed the rating – the Porcelain shade now looks lighter, not pink at all, which makes this fdn perfect for me now!
