I received it in an advent calendar. It has a cooling feel on the lips and keeps my (always dry) lips hydrated. Smells minty sweet. It doesn’t sting like dior lip maximizer. Of course my lips aren’t plumped, but feels nice on the lips, not sticky (though hair will still stick to it in the wind). It lasts longer than my usual balms. The taste is rather pleasant as well. Will repurchase after I run out.

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to Dior’s Lip Maximizer, but it turns out its not any cheaper at all. The price reflects the amount of product in the tube. Formula wise, I don’t use it for it’s lip plumping benefits, but for its moisturizing benefits. My lips get notoriously dry, and I’ve always loved the Dior version to keep my lips hydrated and comfortable. I’m used to the “burn”ing sensation of these lip plumpers so it doesn’t bother me – I barely even notice it anymore. It does a good job of keeping my lips hydrated, but in comparison to the Dior one, I find the finish lacking. This one looks simply like a clear gloss, but the Dior gives a bit of a milky pinky colour which I love. Its also not overly sticky, but it still has enough stick that the product doesn’t disappear soon after application. Overall, its a decent product, but I prefer the finish and design of the Dior one better, and they’re the same price, so I will not repurchase.

I bought this in Petal Ice, mostly because of a comment from a YouTuber that I didn’t quite realize was doing a paid endorsement :-(. I like it ….. okay. It goes on easily, makes my lips feel good and look glossy. But there’s absolutely no lifting or boosting or anything like that, going on here. It’s simply a nice lip gloss. I like the pale green of Pixi’s packaging, so that’s a bit of a plus. From what I have heard/read, the company is a very good, ethical one, too. So yay. But I don’t think this product is anything really special. I would gladly try other Pixi products in the future, but this one, I don’t think I’d buy again.

Not my favorite lip gloss. Received it in a toiletries kit at Shoppers Drug Mart so luckily I did not pay for it full price. It is quite light and smells like eucalyptus which isn’t the most pleasant for the lips.

Tried the shade Honey Sheen, which came in a bundle of toiletries I bought.
Smells like toothpaste.
Burns my lips.
“Honey” is apparently cool/white/silver toned…
Fail.
EDIT:
Ok, so I must humbly take back my original one star review. I have grown to like this lipgloss, and it may have ushered me back into wearing lip gloss on the reg.
– the texture is perfect, not too goopy or sticky
– doesn’t make my lips feel dry
– Even if it does smell like toothpaste, it’s better than the smell of most lip glosses and is a bonus when you know you’ll be kissing someone special
– nice amount of glitter
But:
– minty burn is still too strong (and come on, burning your lips is not going to make them plumper)
– glitter is too white
– mint smell should sharper – more like tea than toothpaste

This lip gloss comes in 3 shades, Petal Ice, Honey Sheen, and Sheer Rose. I purchased Sheer Rose and love the color. It goes really well with the Natural Rose lip liner and also the Shea Butter Lip Balm. I will probably pick up Honey Sheen next to go with the other lip liner and balm I have in similar Nude shade. The gloss has a minty flavour/scent and is not exactly plumping but nice enough. Packaging is a solid acrylic square tube with doe foot applicator, very sturdy and applies well to the lips. It contains aloe, jojoba oil, chamomile and peptides, feels slightly cooling and I love the texture and finish. It’s super comfortable to wear and like any gloss needs to be reapplied after eating/drinking. Good product, recommend.
