This scent was love at first whiff for me, and has become my signature fall/winter scent. I feel like a a mysterious, sexy woods witch whenever I wear this scent. Everyone’s different, but for me, the initial bright aspect of the smoked tea note wears off quickly and leaves behind a gorgeous, sultry-sweet incense-y scent rife with ginger, cedar, and a touch of coconut, just enough to make the scent firmly feminine. I’m often complimented on this scent when I wear it, and two gentle spritzes last me roughly six hours before needing to reapply. Hands-down, Bulletproof is my favorite TokyoMilk/MargotElena offering, and at the $28 price point, who could go wrong?

wow, this one failed so utterly on me. All the previous reviews are just what I was looking for, but once this hit my skin, it was a sticky oversweet coconut with plastic smoke. Sythetic and very murky, clingy…I couldn’t scrub it fast enough. Luckily this is a fairly inexpensive brand, so you can experiement without too much effort. But I’d say try this before you buy this for sure.

I don’t get any of the other notes mentioned in reviews here such as jasmine, coconut or cedar- just glorious incense, incense, incense. Love it and would buy FB.

“Smoky” and “sweet” are two words that pop up repeatedly in reviews for this fragrance. Most rightfully so. This is smoky and sweet, but without a hint of vanilla. Like a good nonsweet vanilla on occasion, but this is so much more “me” more aromatic, spicy, and dense without being at all cloying or, worse, syrupy.
To me and on me, the prevailing note here is clove. Again, smoky and sweet are the descriptors of choice here Cedarwood gives a sheer and substantial base, jasmine provides the ever so slight feminine edge to girly up the smoke just enough ot be inviting and not ashy, cinnamon sprinkles and warmly sparkles throughout the top and tobacco and a subtle (NON TROPICAL) coconut sing in all parts of the fragrance to give the sweet element.
I love this fragrance, but many people will not, but I don’t mind. It’s unique. Definitely see some unisex/gender-neutral qualities ot this and this would be a good option for couples wanting to share fragrance without dealing in the traditional fruity or cleany-cologney or clean laundry smells that are traditionally thought of as being more unisex.
I love this and would buy again. Love Novacaine as well. A newest release, like this it is also spicy, but it reads cleaner and more holistic with frankincense wafting through the cinnamon and red pepper notes. And that lacks any of the sweet qualities that Bulletproof posesses. I may prefer Novacaine slightly, but it is a close call, so we will see

I’ve never loved a perfume the way I love Bulletproof. I think it was made for me. It is a little weird, perhaps, but it is gorgeous. It smells like sawdust and pencil lead at first, and then like vanilla, tobacco, tea and coconut. It is smoky and sweet. Buttletproof does something magical on my skin, and I smell like a classy, confident, and mysterious lady. I wouldn’t want to go through my day without it. The bottle looks very cool and edgy on my makeup table, and it makes me feel like Jane Russell and Wonder Woman at the same time. I do wish it lasted longer, as I feel the need to reapply around lunchtime. But for about $40 a bottle, that is not a big deal. I’ve thought about trying other perfumes by Tokyo Milk, but I’m just so obsessed with Bulletproof, I can’t stop using it.

I bought this because I was looking for a Oud scent and the ones I liked were too much money and didn’t last long enough on me. $150+ it should last longer than 4 hours.
I found this one at Sephora and found it had all the notes I liked, and for the price not much buyers regret. If you are hankering after one of Mr. Ford’s Oud’s check this out
I clicked the no rebuy only because I rarely repurchase a scent I like to try new all the time.

“This perfume is extremely strange. I spritzed it on in store, fearing that the Jasmine would overwhelm the cedar and patchouli, but on me, it’s as if the Jasmine is completely cancelled out by the other darker, heavier scents. I especially love the Cedar and Patchouli, and that’s what lingers longest on me. The fragrance lingered on my skin for nearly a day afterwards, it seemed to cling and not want to let go. I constantly caught whiffs of it for days afterwards and it haunted me. I will have to go back and purchase a bottle of this. I am not a perfume girl and I absolutely cannot tolerate clean, floral scents. I usually wear nothing at all, or a mixture of two essential oils. I wanted a perfume that people would catch the scent of minutes after I had passed by, look up from their work and say ‘Witch’. This is it. It is a perfume for strange, surrealist women who stare deeply into dark forest pools, divining the future.”
I wrote this review on the Sephora page for this perfume a year ago. My opinion of Bulletproof has not changed. I received a bottle of this perfume for Christmas and was delighted with it. Like I said in my earlier review, on me this LINGERS. I sprayed a few spritzes onto my wrists and chest before a date. While on the date my man asked what I was wearing. He said that it suited me. Four hours later I was still smelling hints of this perfume on my skin. I can smell it on my clothing days later and in my purse on the tester strips that I stuffed into my bag over a week ago.
This is definitely my ‘signature scent’. I never thought I would have one, but I LOVE this perfume so much. I love everything about it-the heaviness of it (my best friend thought it was men’s cologne when she first smelled it), the notes of cedar, patchouli and coconut that smell like a delicious haunted forest, I love the black bottle and gunmetal cap with the engraved gun on it-everything about this scent speaks to me. It’s readily available at Sephora, and at only $36 a bottle, was a bit of a steal. I may ask for the companion lotion as a birthday gift. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s not available in a rollerball (at least not that I’ve seen).
I love this scent. It has a dark magic to it that suits me extremely well.

I’m quite surprise with how good this one is! Bulletproof is quite intense and long lasting! This is heavy on ebony and smoked tea. It is quite interesting. Also, there is some coconut in background which adds a little sweetness to the fragrance. This is a captivating fragrance I really like the smokiness. I find the name of this fragrance to be appropriate.
I think this would be great in cooler weather, for fall and winter. It sorta reminds my Tom Ford’s Black Orchid only 36.00

I loooooove the tobacco/vanilla/musky notes in this scent BUT i hate that it does not last for more than a couple hours! It is a great scent to have in your collection of fragrances, but be warned that it lasts as long as a great kiss — not long enough. I have actually mixed this spray with Chloe black & loooved the results: the scent lasted a bit longer than usual & was nice & smokey smelling.

I’m on my third bottle of this, so it’s probably time to write a review. I love this scent. I was looking for something unusual with vanilla/coconut and this is perfect. I went in to the store looking for Dead Sexy, after reading online reviews. The sales associate recommended this one and I’m so glad she did.
I love that it’s smokey and not like every other scent out there. The negatives are that is does’t last AT ALL and the spritzer broke on my third bottle in the first week.
