Once again, I selected my last two shades of lipstick for the coming cooler months. Excessive Rose is a darker shade than #73, but it still has the blue tints and perhaps even a hint of purple. I wanted it to match my dress I made for the Holidays and it matches perfectly. My dress is not actually red but rather a dark rose, and so is this lipstick. As with all my Guerlain lipsticks, this is very creamy, smells divine, and leaves a stain on the lips for a very long time. The case on this lipstick is black with a gold top. The case is not all that but it is what is inside that matters the most. Got to love Guerlain!
