I was hoping this would be a substitute for Laura Mercier’s discontinued ‘Creme de Pistache’ but it is nothing like it. It has an odd note mixed in with the ice cream and pistachios which throws off the whole thing. I can’t place it exactly but it’s something ‘green’ that doesn’t belong in this. I will keep trying out other brands as these days more and more companies are introducing gourmand scents into their product ranges.

This was an experiment, as I don’t like foody scents. It does smell like a sweet pistachio with vanilla–more like marzipan than ice cream. I like it, but not enough to buy it again. It’s a bit cloying.

This smells absolutely yummy! Just what I was looking for. I expected an almond scent; but this is more. There is a complexity to it that reminds me of the fragrance wall at Sephora. It is a creamy almond scent I will wear in the daytime. I bought it for spring and summer.
