The best hair oil on the market with actual oils, not laden with silicones! This improves the look and feel of your hair, makes it soft and manageable. It nourishes your hair and works wonderful as a pre shampoo treatment. Best brand with the best products. Worth every penny!

There are probably better shampoos out there but this one is by far the best I have ever tried. My really damaged bleached hair started to look like I had a blow dry at a salon. I always thought shampoo does not make a difference at all, but after finally liking my hair, I think Im gonna buy more Kerastase products. Sorry for any grammar errors, not my native language 🙂

Update: this shampoo is something special ..it is a gem if you have a combination hair type. Every one with this type of hair will understand how it is hard to find a balancing shampoo that cleans your scaple very well and yet doesnt dry out your hair ends or cause any irritation.
Nothing special about it. But still it is a high quality shampoo. What I like about it is that it is silicon free and it smells really nice (Dior addict). It does clean the scalp without drying out my hair.

I love the smell of this shampoo and the texture of my hair after using it. It gives shine and makes my hair silky and healthy.

PROS – the amazing smell, hair is soft and sliky CONS – I was expecting so much more from a shampoo that cost this much.I have mid-back lenght hair and need to use so much product to “produce” a foam. And I’m not using dry shampoo or have greasy hair.I haven’t notice any improvement in overall health of the hair or having less split ends.I’ll rather invest in a good hair treatment/oil/mask than buy this ever again. So expensive,I would need to buy 2 or even 3 bottles of this a month, and it would be ok if it worked so I would be saving money on other hair products, but sadly no.

This is a review for the whole line of elixir ultime. (shampoo, conditioner and oil). I think this is a good product and very moisturizing but maybe a little too much for my hair. Initially I really liked this line on my fine hair that is dense (I have a lot of it). But as with most products everything will start causing build up on my hair. Its very straight/long (air dries a bit frizzy so I will use a flat iron to run a few quick passes through it to get that out). My hair just really shows when products start weighing it down. I have naturally dark brown hair and I get it balayaged every 4 months.
Update: I switched to Briogeo and cannot be happier. The brand is big on no sulfates and no silicones and I really dont care about that stuff honestly. But they use such good ingredients to moisturize the actual hair instead of coating it with silicones. Which I think silicones are fine but you do have to realize they will build up and cause additional dryness to the hair if not removed fully once in a while. My hair is always bouncy and full now. In the past I have used “no silicone and no sulfate” shampoos before but they always left my hair staticy and dry. But Briogeo seems to almost make my split ends disappear . I think my hair actually soaks up the product and seems to be healthier. I use the green color “Be gentle be kind” shampoo/conditioner and then sometimes the “Dont despair repair” mask with moisture shampoo. I really like all their products.

The smell of this shampoo is amazing! I am obsessed with the scent, so luxurious for a shampoo & more like a perfume. You only need a small amount, the size of a 1p coin. This leaves my hair feeling nourished and supple. I don’t use too much heat on my hair but I imagine if you abuse your hair this would be the perfect shampoo for you to try and nurse it back to health. I also have the matching mask which also has the amazing scent which lingers for a few hours. I find myself smelling my hair during the day because it’s so yummy. I have had my bottle for 5 weeks now and still have a quarter left.

I love this shampoo! The fragrance is different, multi-layered and reminds me of Shiseido’s Feminite du Bois fragrance. Elixir Ultime leaves my hair soft, shiny and full and I always receive compliments on how it looks.

I got this in the saloon size (1000ml) after much recommendation.
It is formulated in a nice scent that reminds me of going for a holiday in the tropics (coconuts perhaps)? Its transparent formulation lathers pretty well upon contact with water and does not seem to iritate the scalp (I noticed that my scalp is less oily-harsh shampoos tend to aggravate the scalp hence more oil produced)
I cannot testify that it repairs the hair but it certainly did not leave it drier.
For the price i’m unsure if the quality justifies it-i’d like to think that there are other similar shampoos at a fraction of the price !

Expected a lot from this though felt nothing other than some what of an oily feel… Not happy.
