I love this chapstick but they don’t sell it anymore 🙁 Does anyone in this link have any in stock they would be willing to sell? Or maybe know where I can find it? Yves Rochers new chapstick series suck, it doesn’t smell as good or have as good packaging… Desperate…

1. Plant-based ingredients.
2. Has a delicious sweet scent.
3. Melts well, therefore it’s easy to apply.
4. Doesn’t feel waxy or heavy.
5. Locks the moisture well, so Keeps the lips plumped and fresh.
6. Reasonable price.
7. Not suitable for very dry lips.

Meh… Performs like a cheaper drugstore lip balm. Smells nice and applies fine but it fades after about 20 minutes and leaves my lips crispy and flaky which requires constant reapplication.
Would I repurchase? Nope…

A pretty decent lip balm but can but melt into a goopy mess with improper storage. I find that a thin coat of this works bests as a thicker coats made my lips feel and look swollen. 4/5

The Yves Rocher Restorative Lip Balm with Shea Butter is by far my favorite lip balm!
I have tried many other lip balms before from various brands like Vaseline, Blistex and Labello, but this is the best. Other brands are either not moisturizing, leave a weird residue after a while, have a weird smell, have annoying packaging or are no good in combination with lip make up. This one however, scores very well on all of those aspects and I have already repurchased it once because I ran out and couldn’t live without it.
My lips have always been very dry and flaky, but with this product they are much better. I wouldn’t say it’s a 100% cure, but it helps a lot.
The only downside would be that when I keep this in my pocket, sometimes for no apparent reason at all, the stick rolls all the way up into the cap, which makes the cap all greasy from the inside.
Price: Good. €2,50
Texture: matt/satin finish
Smell: cocoa butter/vanilla
Moisturizing: 4/5
Application: easy, texture varies with temperature from just soft enough to apply, to vaseline-like at body temperature.
Packaging: 3/5, practical lipstick style bullet, not very pretty, sometimes rolls up when in jeans pocket.
Tip: Also works very well if you have other dry/flaky spots on your skin.

This is a Great Find
I got tired of waiting for the Body Shop sale and thought of venturing into the Yves Rocher store instead – in the same mall, only a few steps away. I picked up one shea butter lip balm at $3.50. Regular price. That’s a steal!
I’ve had it for about a week now and I really love it. I feel bad this doesn’t get a better overall rating, especially that the negative reviews are for different products completely. Grape seed? Ex-squeeze me!! Sorry, but you shouldn’t be writing your review here anyway. It’s misinformative.
I’m glad to report that prefer the texture to the cocoa care lip care stick, which was not so bad and had great ingredients in it. This is less shiny, less oily, but somehow more moisturizing. It reminds me very much of the Paula’s Choice lip and body treatment balm, which I love but keep at home only and apply after my shower in the morning and at night just before I go to sleep. Now it’s like I’ve finally found a stick version of it!
There is nothing not to like really. The smell too is quite pleasant and mild. Floral? Sweet? but quite light. If you love your lip balms, you owe yourself to try this. I recommend it wholeheartedly. It is so cheap, but so nice. And you don’t have to wait for a sale to finally go get this. Apparently it’s one of the Yves Rocher items that never goes on sale. Bravo from me!
The only con I can think of is the packaging. It’s not particularly pretty and the plastic will slide off eventually if you don’t handle it with care. It is great nonetheless.

Best lip balms and I have tried really lots lots of different ones, and have always had lips peeling off since I was small. They don’t peel off with this one.
This holds for all the similar ones (almond, vanilia, etc.)
edit dec15: after using institute karite’s lip balm recently I realized that I needed to put it on less often once I run out of it and went back to YR, so I am downgrading this one as there are obviously better ones (though more expensive). there are also some that are better (than YR) to put before lipstick if you want shine. innissfree is quite good for that purpuse.

Best lip balm I know. Since I bought my first one, my lips never broke again – they used to a lot! I have bought it thirty times at least and will go on repurchasing.
Note: no other Yves Rocher lip balm works for me like this. Most of reviews here are talking about the other balms!
It lasts for hours: you apply it before going to sleep, you kiss for good night, and in the morning you still feel a bit of the balm on your lips… and they are nicely hydrated. It works in very cold freezing winter temperatures too.
The cons – or not?
It does not have SPF. For someone like me, with hypersensitive skin that reacts badly on many things including usual sunscreen chemicals, this can be a plus though!
It has a very descent shea butter smell. I love it exactly like this, for someone else it might be too little.
It feels waxy. I like that type of balms, but not everybody does.
Now I suggest that you stop reading reviews and go and try it for the price 🙂 Good luck that for you too it becomes the HG trouble-rescue balm.

Forget the rewiews below. They were reviewing othe items of the line.
Gross smell? Hello?
This Baume Reparateur (Replenishing Lip Balm ) with shea Butter is the most luscious scent – smells like a danish!!! indeed it smells like sweet cocoa butter – that is the 2nd main ingredient along with Shea Butter and has no nasty taste on the lips!
When you apply t’s like butter, creamy, and NOT greasy!.
No other lip balm makes my lips soft and moisturized like that. this stuff forks a miracle.
I have a backup of 5 sticks for fear they change it or disontinued it!!
And for 2.90 Euros, this my HG lip balm, no doubts.
Try it.
