I purchased these with the intention of using it to remove my makeup and use it with my toner. However it would break during use and not last during the duration of the use. I will not repurchase.

Ouch! what happened these are so rough and scratchy now
I guess I’ll just use them to remove polish

I can just retype everything the last reviewer just said. So disappointed and will not be buying these again. I did look at the singles and they are also changed although you could possibly still find an old package from before they messed them up. I had liked these so much that I bought a HUGE package of them and wouldn’t you know it, they decided to ruin them just as I’ve discovered these. My search is on for better ones that don’t fall apart and get cotton fibers all in my eyes.

They’ve just changed their quality! I’ve been a faithful buyer of swisspers and recently purchased the 3-pack like I usually do. I opened the package and was startled to find that they’re now thin and fuzzy-like (similar to how cotton balls leave fuzz). Even the pattern has changed.
I double checked the package to make sure that I didn’t accidentally buy the wrong brand, and then I compared the new rounds to the older version since I still had some left. The difference is staggering. The new rounds are literally far worse than the ones you can buy at the dollar tree.
I’ll take a look at the single packages of cotton rounds from swisspers, and if for some reason they’re still the old quality, I’ll come back here and update. But as of now, they’re just another company who has sacrificed quality for profits.

Hands down best cotton rounds I’ve ever used! I buy these in bulk as I use them to remove make up, apply toner and cleanse my face in the mornings so I run through a fair bit! These don’t shed, they’re super soft on the skin and they don’t fall apart after a few swipes across the face. They’re not the cheapest brand but I’ll pay the price for quality and hassle free mornings not trying to pick the cotton off my face. I will forever repurchase these!

I tend to cheap-out a bit on cotton rounds – but Swisspers is a trusted brand and will not shed and is not too harsh. I also like Johnson & Johnson. Do not use Studio 35 or Walmart brand.

I agree with the reviewer who said cotton rounds are just cotton rounds. I see no difference in overall effectiveness between brands. These definitely do tend to shed a bit more than some of the others, but not a lot and not every time. I use these to wipe my face with toner after washing and I find them helpful in cleaning off any excess makeup that I might have missed that might be hiding in the corners of my face. No complaints here.

These were the very first cotton rounds I used way back in 1995. Back then I used them for removing nail polish as I had just started to wear makeup and found that cotton balls shredded and left lint and fuzzies. I’ve tried a few other brand since, but I keep coming back to these. They are thicker and sturdier than other brands I have tried, and do not shred. These days I use them to apply toner, or help wipe off stubborn eye makeup, but they quality has not diminished.

These cotton rounds are the best I’ve found for removing makeup and nail polish and for applying toner.

I most use them to remove eye makeup, lip product, and nailpolish
Pros: affordable, available in bulk, does its job of removing eye makeup remover and removing nailpolish, they do not break apart when removing makeup, not harsh on eyes
Cons: absorbs too much product into cotton pad, linty on one side, need to use a lot of rounds to do the job of removing makeup
