Grrr, it’s back but now PC have stopped delivering to Switzerland and none of the European sites have it because they discontinued it. PC in the USA were unable to help although I practically begged them to let me buy some.
It’s back, it’s back, it’s back! Am beyond pleased Paula’s Choice bought this range back. I went through a whole cycle of trying PC samples etc and finally settled on this terrific moisturizer, then a few months later it was discontinued! I managed to buy about 4 tubes on various sites that are just running out now, so was not looking forward to finding a replacement.
Perfect for my normal, verging on dry skin, that doesn’t like a heavy moisturizer – I found the Resist line a bit too greasy and the lighter SPF creams weren’t moisturizing enough. Sinks in beautifully and you can use a lot to get the full benefit of the SPF with no pilling. Great under makeup too. Am a happy bunny.

I’m on accutane right now so my skin is extremely dry, extremely sensitive, and also sunburns easily. I got a sample of this with another order and decided to go for the full size. It absorbs into the skin a lot better than some other SPF moisturizers (cough cerave cough) and wears well under makeup. no weird white streaks on the face. did not irritate my hypersensitive skin.

Bought samples of this to last me a week. This is an okay product if you like the strong smell of sunscreen (think BananaBoat) in your nostrils all day. It also stings your eyes, so don’t apply it near the eye area. It also is not particularly moisturising, so you need your full blown skincare underneath it. It’s not a moisturiser at all. It’s just a sunscreen. I was totally unimpressed. The California Baby one is better than this, and has a no tears formula to boot.

I incorporated this into my daily routine by applying after my moisturizer and before my foundation. Within four hours of wear, my skin was dry and itchy. I would not recommend this and definitely will not repurchase.

This is the first facial moisturizer with spf that doesn’t cause a burn or rash on my face and neck. I have been fighting skin cancer for a couple of years – surgery twice and radiation treatments on my nose. Not using spf is not an option for me. I did a lot of research and tried many products and can say without doubt I have finally found one that works well and is easy to use. I have dry, sensitive skin and am very happy with this product. Before finding this the only other product that worked for me was Cyberderm sun whip but it’s very thick and drying if not mixed with a moisturizer.

This is a good SPF for my dry skin because of its hydrating properties. It is easy to apply and doesn’t leave a white cast. It is meant for normal to dry skin types. Since it isn’t mat, I’d say it’s not the best choice for those with oily or combination skin.

This was one of my free samples when buying the smaller Resist package, and I find myself liking it more than I like the Resist moisturizer (which is a very good moisturizer itself). Moisture Boost leaves my skin nicely matte, and I can apply makeup almost immediately after using it. It doesn’t feel heavy on my skin at all, which is a serious achievement from a face cream given that my building still didn’t shut down the heating now in the middle of May in California, so I’m basically writing from a sauna, people. Send me your extra ice cubes. Please.

I discovered Paula’s Choice last summer. Let’s just say, I wish they had a rewards program! I am a complete convert and have loved everything I have tried. I am still in the process of trying out some of her products and while I enjoy using the Hydralight Spf30 as well as the Skin Recovery, I was still looking for something with more moisture. I have very dry skin and use the new Clinical 1% Retinol at night (which dries my skin out even more). After getting a little overzealous and using my 2% bha with the retinol, I had some serious peeling. Not just a peel here and there…oh no…my whole face was coming off in sheets. I stopped both the retinol and the bha for a few days. I used Evening Primrose oil and slathered on the CeraVe after exfoliating wit my Clarisonic. After things calmed down, I went back to my normal routine but started using Moisture Boost Spf 30 as my last step in my morning routine. I loved how this feels on my skin. I am light skinned and don’t mind a bit of a white cast, but find this not to leave one. My skin looks fantastic and there is no end of day tightness to my cheeks either. The biggest change though is that at 48, I have stopped wearing foundation!! My skin looks so good and feels so hydrated that I can’t bear the thought of putting something over it! I haven’t experienced any ill effects (clogs, breakouts) from this moisturizer so it fits the bill perfectly. Hydralight worked nicely for me this summer as I was visiting family in the humid south. Skin Recovery is still in my arsenal and I will use it up (it is thicker and leaves more of a white cast, but is not as long term moisturizing as Moisture Boost) but I will continue to repurchase Moisture Boost Spf30 as an everyday moisturizer and sunscreen. Once again Paula, you hit it out of the park!!
