I had previously only used the cream version of this to wear as night cream / soft peel treatment but I thought I’d prefer the lotion better and it does absorb into the skin more quickly, likely because of the lighter consistency. There is a definite scent to it, it’s not the best and it’s barely tolerable, despite the condition it keeps my skin in which is baby soft and clear. I alternate between using glycolic acid and a retinol product to encourage exfoliation and cell turn-over rate. The combination seems to be working well for me as I’m turning 51 and am routinely told I don’t even look 40 yet. Taking care of my skin allows me to wear minimal and more natural looking makeup which in my opinion is more youthful looking. Vitamin C is helping with the sun damage from younger days and also giving my skin a radiant appearance. Most of Jouviance’s products are fantastic and I highly recommend them but this one isn’t my favorite because the scent is overwhelming.
