This is the Walmart brand equivalent of Neutrogena Body Clear Pink Grapefruit Acne Body Wash.
I have adult acne and get breakouts around my shoulders and back. I’ve used this product as a way to treat that. While it doesn’t fix the problem overall, it helps maintain or reduce the swelling and rate of continued breakouts. I’m not expecting miracles from any over-the-counter product; the 2% Salicylic Acid amount does about as much as can be expected. (I am assuming that is the limit of what can be sold as an acne treatment of this kind without a prescription.)
Despite being a body wash geared toward body acne, I was surprised that this did not dry my skin out. If I have used excessive treatments on a specific area, that area tends to become dry, but that is not the fault of the product so much as chemical sensitivity on the skin.
The only thing about this product that I did not care for was how “grapefruit-y” the scent was. I understand that the product was labeled as that, but this was potent and very medicinally.
