I’m a guy and I get irritated, dry skin at night. PC 4 Men is the perfect moisturizer over all my actives. It’s a no frills product with 0.1% retinol. It’s lightly moisturizing and not greasy at all.

This is the best moisturiser I’ve used. No fragrance, not animal tested. Not too oily, doesn’t irritate my skin. I use it nightly and I’m always told I am 10 years younger than my true age.

I have oily, sensitive, acne/clog prone skin. This is not for me. I saw it had soybean oil and shea butter in the ingredients, but decided to try it anyway since it said it was for all skintypes.. Well, 4 hours into putting it on my skin was very itchy, I got a welt and the pores in my t-zone were clogging up. It felt uncomfortable enough I had to WASH IT OFF and put something else on even though I have a really tight budget currently, and have to use everything I have. I put on instead a combo of PC Clear Maximum Strenght 2% BHA, PC Calm Moisturizer for oily skin and vaseline which I like. That helped a lot.
I bought the travel size of this and won’t be buying full size. Instead Im going to buy two tubes of the Calm moisturizer which I love, and the Calm Serum. Hey I might buy the whole Calm System for oily skin when I can.

Pros : Absorbs Quickly, Long Lasting, Elegant Texture, Moisturizes Well, Smells Great, Goes On Smoothly
Cons: None
Best Uses : Dry/Chapped Skin, Deep Moisturization, Daily Use
Although I have combination normal-to-oily skin, I have dry parts from the cheeks outward and also on my neck. I’ve been sampling all of PC night moisturizers in search of one that will provide hydration over night, be non-irritating, and without a greasy texture. To be honest, I haven’t been having much luck with longevity, even with the products that are supposed to be best for the driest skins.
My luck changed when I tried Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer. After I finished my sample, I visited the PC web site to purchase the full size. It was out of stock, but I got a tip that the PC4Men Night Time Repair is the same product, so I purchased that one! I actually prefer the PC4Men tube packaging, so extra win for me.
I am absolutely delighted to report that this cream has met and exceeded my expectations! It is an elegant creamy lotion, translucent white in color. The scent is pleasing and fresh. The product sinks into skin, and also leaves a long-lasting moisture barrier that wears through the night. In the morning, my skin feels soft, hydrated, soothed and nourished. This is my new favorite! Recommended!

I was encouraged to try this product, due to the great reviews on PC site.
I have a fair, combination (not really oily skin). My skin is very sensitive and may react to harsh products or too greasy textures. I have tried some samples for 4 days (3 times a week just to test it on my skin tolerance).
After just few times, my skin has a has a little bit of reaction, so I have decide not to keep it on using it. Moreover 1,5 ml of sample is enough just for 2-3 uses, and so the entire item would be cost definitely too much money for its value.
I strongly disagree PC4Men Night Time Facial Moisturizer for Men is intended for all skin types, as Paula’s Choice claims.
Regardless of its light texture, It contains many acid fats, and a little bit of retinol (so sensitive and reactive skin should pay more attention).
It’s not by chance this products is included in the Dry skin line in the general PC line. There indeed, it’s called Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer with Retinol.

I am slowly losing all my respect to Paula begoun and her team. When I first try her product, I was amazed on her principle on what skincare should really be. Real no-frill anti-aging, no exaggeration and no crazy mark up. And now? Eye cream, mark-up prices, too many similar redundancy products (which are the critics she used to criticized on other cosmetic company).
This men night time repair “destroy” my skin, it give me a serious skin inflammation (on my nose area) for almost 3-4 weeks. This is the only new product I tried (lucky! sample), when I rub it on my skin, I instantly feel the irritation… I was dumb enough to leave it on until it start giving my skin inflammation. I had to visit my doctor few times, getting anti-biotic pills, fucidin h cream etc. I am still seeing the red mark on my nose area… and I am waiting to see my dermatologist soon.
I was seriously stressed out because my skin left scaring or kiloid very easy! I’ve also wrote complain reviews twice to paula’s team and they pretend they didn’t see anything. I’ve had good experiences with Paula’s serum, but I realized her product are either good or completely disasters. The WORSE part is how they tend to say very negative (or very picky) comments on other company’s products and they rated their own products? on their beautypedia website. (seriously that doesn’t sound convincing does it?) Their product rate are completely manipulated… meaning they only display the good one and on very rare occasion, show the negative common pretending they are honest and fair (which they aren’t).
This men product also show they aren’t very honest and constancy of what they were saying… you really don’t need product label with (men) for men skin, (just like they used to insist, no need product label with eye-cream for eye area.. but they came up with one recently). When it come to hydration or anti-oxidant, both gender need the same ingredients, it’s just a matter of packaging and marketing. Nevertheless, through my personal experiences… the cream is extremely irritated if you have sensitive dry skin. Avoid this like plague! (I’ve never use such strong tone in all my reviews but I’m sorry this cream is just this bad!)

This is packaged for men and has a sporty look so women might miss it. I bought this for my boyfriend but also used it myself, and then ended up buying my own tube because I liked it better than my moisturizer.
My skin is super-sensitive and I become deliriously happy whenever I find a moisturizer that benefits my skin and doesn’t irritate it. I’ve been using La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra but I am switching to this because Paula’s Choice is a cruelty free brand and I’m trying to move my dollars in that direction. (By the way, this product is meant for nighttime use so there is no sunscreen.)
PROS:
-Fragrance Free
-Soothing
-Provides moisturize but doesn’t feel greasy
-Contains anti-aging ingredients including retinol and anti-oxidants
-The convenient tube makes it easy for travel, and is better than jar packaging.
-The name isn’t ridiculously long, like some skin care items.
-I’m using it at night all over my face including the eye area and haven’t had any irritation.
-My boyfriend likes it, too, so we can share.
-The price, $27 for 1.7 ounces, is less expensive than many high-end department store brands with products that aren’t formulated as well that contain irritants.
-Cruelty free
-Foil packets are available for $1 each, so you can sample the product before buying a full size and/or use the packets for air travel or for the gym.
CONS/CAUTIONS:
-Although this is marketed to all skin types and even though I love it, I’m not convinced that it’s right for every skin type. My skin is combination (oil in the T-zone but not extremely oily). This has some very emollient ingredients that acne-prone oily skin might not like.
-If you’re already taking prescription Retin A or Accutane, I would avoid over-the-counter retinol products during treatment.
