I was on the website and saw someone reviewing the cream from this verite line & I had a sudden flashback of me buying & using this expensive spray toner from Estée Lauder! I pretty much just bought it for the free gift w p ! LOL! Bc I’m normally a Clinique user &,prefers Clinique’s totally fragrance free skincare products! But every now & then I might try something new from Estée Lauder & I believe I just bought this to try for a pick my up ! From what I remember was this a spray toner in a bottle which had a fine mist & was very slightly hydrating and definitely had a strong rose ???? scent! I remember keeping it cold in the refrigerator @ work to refresh myself whenever I got stressed out during work! ! ! LOL! It was a ok product but I didn’t repurchase

SIMPLY THE BEST TONER. Why has it been discontinued??. I have tried tons of toners but all of them irritate my skin (most contain alcohol or heavy fragance, but even many of those that do not contain fragance, also irritate my skin). However, Verité toner was great. Some people think toner is not necessary. I believe it is key for achieving a good skin, the reason is just because there is a huge difference if I do not apply it…I hope I can soon find something similar..
UPDATE (19/4/2011): I have just realized that the ingredients in this toner are the same as in the Mac Fix +, with the only difference that Fix + contains fragance and a couple of extra ingredients …Curious that this one has been discontinued while Fix + is a best selling
UPDATE (13/6/2011): I have been using Mac Fix + as a toner since my last update and I have to say that I am getting the same results as with Verité…so my assumption that both products were almost the same seems to be true….Happy to have the substitute, though I would prefer Mac to remove fragance from Fix +
UPDATE (21/04/12) After long time using Mac Fix+ as the substitute for EL Verite toner, the fragance in Fix+ has wound up irritating my skin. Again, have to seek another substitute. Not being an easy task I´m afraid. Why did EL discontinue this toner!

I’m so sad this product has been discontinued. I have loved it for many many years – probably that is something my mum has introduced me in the past cause she has been using it for several years.
She also has several bottles to use, cause I think she bought all this toners that were in Europe when she found out it would be discontinued.
That’s to be said – it is very mild, floral fragrance and it also has some antioxidants (green tea) and antiiritants:-)

Before I discovered Clinique’s moisture surge toner this had been my HG for years. A nice soothing toner that was not breaking me out yet was hydrating enough for my acne-prone combination skin.
It’s a pity if they have decided to discontinue it. Last month I actually still saw it in our stores.
Would buy it again.

A great toner that is truly gentle and (miraculously) does not make my skin red. Will continue to purchase but wish EL would include a flip top cap instead of the spray which I find irritating.

This was my favorite. I don’t know why Estee Lauder would discontinue. When I found out they were discontinuing I bought extra bottles, and now I’m almost out. Now the search begins….again…….

I love this mist, it is my favourite toner and my favourite mist (and I’ve tried quite a few!). Although some consider that it doesnt have any moisturising qualities I find that it softens and lightly moisturises my skin after cleansing. It also calms my skin after even the harshest mask or peel. The scent is fresh and calming. It feels like a mist of fresh rain, really. What I also like is that the mist comes out evenly. Its really expensive over here in Europe but still I am on my 4th bottle!!!
