My favorite OPI red. I wear it every Valentine’s Day but it would make a good red for the Spring or Summer too. It reads cool with fuschia undertones. Excellent coverage in 2 coats and wears like iron. Is somewhat price-y because it’s discontinued but I think it’s
worth the price (I lost my original bottle and paid $18.00 for a replacement on Ebay).

I find that opi nailpolish gives nice coverage. They have a wide variety of colours. If you cook and clean then don’t expect your nails to last a long time. That’s what shellac or gel nails are for. For myself I don’t paint my hands. I just wear polish in my toes in the summer.

Hi and thank you for reading my review.
I have this and BIG APPLE RED also by OPI, they are almost identical except that OUI BIT OF RED has a slight sheen to it where as B.A.R. is a true cream. I find this color to be too sheer.
I needed 3 coats to get the coverage I wanted and even though it is a very pretty color, it just isn’t me and I don’t care for it. I think it’s the sheen in it that I dislike. I have never in my life used up an entire bottle of nail polish and I know I will not be using up this one.
Oh well.
I had to come back to show you how many cotton balls it took to remove this color. Even though I always use a top quality base coat, OUI BIT OF RED has stained my fingernails and I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this shade. I have about 8 other OPI reds, this is the only one this hard to remove.

I wanted to add a bottle of red nail polish to my collection and this was the one to purchase. It’s a beautiful, interesting red – it has a pink sheen to it that makes it a flattering colour. As with OPI polishes, this dried well and is opaque enough to be a one-coater.

I got this nail polish for %50 off $9.95. I was looking for a classic cherry red, and it is exactly what I was looking for! It’s very opaque and has a slight shimmer that is barely noticeable on the nails. It’s bright and fun and the perfect red nail polish!

This is a great red to have in your nail polish collection. It goes on well, dries quickly, and has a strong formula that doesn’t need very many coats to stay on the nail. In a golden light, it has little glitter specks on the nail and appears reddish-orange, when in a darker light, it is a true blood red. I would categorize it as a winter color, as it is a very grown-up looking, romantic, sophisticated red, instead of a young, flirty cherry.
The polish has excellent staying power. I have often used it on my toenails and it has remained intact for weeks.
The only complaints I have are with the wideness of the OPI brush (which makes it difficult to apply it on the nail without smearing it on the skin, especially if you have short fingernails like I do) and the light-pink that remains even after you use a lot of nail polish remover. However, most reds are like that, and OPI is generally a very quality brand, despite the brush.
If you are not a huge fan of red nail polish or you don’t wear color on your nails in general, A Oui Bit of Red is the go-to red to have in your (sparse) collection. It is great for winter parties and special occasions and looks lovely in those peep-toed shoes.

I say this was dirt cheap, only because I got it at 75% off. This color is fantastic! It looks like a slightly magenta shade of red in the bottle, but it gets painted on as a true glamorous red. It does not streak, and I’ve had it on as my pedicure shade for nearly three weeks with no chipping. I love the brightness of this color!

My HG medium red polish which looks extremely sophisticated and not in the least bit garish. This is from OPI’s La Collection De FRANCE – perfectly categorised, need I say more!

Red is definitely my signature color, I almost always have it on, whether it be in the summer or winter. I think red nails are extremely classy and I love the way it looks on my nails. 🙂 This is my “winter red,” as it’s more of a pink toned red. I usually stick to warmer or true reds in the summer (like The Thrill of Brazil).
The formula of this polish is absolutely perfect, I can get away with only one coat. Looking at the bottle, I can see a hit of fuchsia shimmer, but it doesn’t show up on the nails.
Love this polish!!! Definitely try it out if you’re looking for a nice red polish.

im a total opi hoarder and i have to say this by far is the perfection concerning the formula, its so smooth and actually could get away with one coat on this one. i tend to wear darker colors like wine, blues, purples, burgundy, and blacks but i do have my stash of reds. and this is a total winner. my other favorite red is a quarter of a century 🙂
