This is just standard 2% BHA, but in a spray bottle. It’s not really cheaper than the facial BHA exfoliants that PC has either.
But hey, 2% BHA is going to work for acne if you’re patient. I’ve struggled with bad bacne, sometimes some intense painful bumps. By applying this on my back twice a day, my bacne has greatly diminished. I sometimes get a little bit stil l but it’s down at least 80%.
The marks and scars though will require something else.

Great product with easy application. I used it on my face (spraying on my hand and dabbing on face afterwards, as instructed by PC). Much cheaper than their face products, and with a great formulation (same 2% BHA as their expensive face products, and with more calming ingredients too). If I ever order from PC again, I will definitely grab another bottle of this. PC products have lots of silicones, but not this one, which makes it great for layering.

This is amazing. It deserves all the stars. I already knew the actual liquid bha was great from trying her face ones, but the spray bottle takes the amazing-ness to a whole other level when treating body acne.
I can spray this UPSIDE DOWN. And the spray comes out nice and diffused. I cannot stress enough how EASY this makes treating breakout prone areas of the body at night for me. No more wiping tiny cotton rounds everywhere and having to wash my hands afterwards.
Concerning the bha liquid inside, it stops my skin from clogging up and breaking out on my legs/arms/bum/chest. And it helps with KP on my legs, and even a little with discoloration. It doesn’t dry my body skin out and the ingredients are just beautiful. It’s also fragrance free.
I would reccomend this to anyone with body acne issues. I will repurchase.

I bought this product awhile to spray on my back. Loved the concept of a spray bha product as opposed to trying to spread bha lotion on my back. The product itself works well, however I would not buy it again for a few reasons. For one, this product has a chemical smell that causes me to cough when inhaled. Always spray this in a well ventilated, large room. I often hold my breath, spray it on my back&chest, and RUN to avoid inhaling it or else i’ll be coughing and choking on it. It can’t be healthy to be inhaling this stuff, which is basically inevitable because the some of the product goes into the air and not entirely on your body. Furthermore, the chemical smell is bad and I had to start using this in the PM only because I was finding I could smell it on me when I arrived at work in the morning. Especially if you use it and you have to run out and you get a bit warm and sweaty you can smell it. However, even with using it in the PM you go to bed smelling bad. Not nice, especially on clean, nice-smelling sheets! My last issue with the product is although the idea of a spray-on BHA is great, it actually isn’t that useful when you live alone and are trying to spray it and aim to actually get hard to reach places. It ends up shooting at one spot and running down my back so I end up having to spray it on me and spread it evenly across my shoulders and back anyway like a lotion. I also find you have to use quite a few sprays to actually cover an entire area like your back because it’s hard to aim and then you have to spread it with your hands anyway because it’s running and dripping everywhere. It’s such a waste of product. It becomes more and more difficult to use as the product starts to get low in the bottle as well. Would not buy again and will be sticking to a BHA lotion.

I was a tester for this product and it works like a charm. The spray means it’s easy to put the product on your back. It clears up bacne gently and quickly. The only reason I did not repurchase is that I have not had any bacne since I used this product. If I do I WILL buy!

THE GOOD:
– This product did help relief some of my back acne, I used to get this big and painful acne on my back and after using it they stopped appearing.
– The application is easy, and you don’t really require an extra thing to help as it sprays well whether held upright or upside down.
THE BAD:
– It’s not clear how often it’s meant to be used? Daily? Weekly?
– It helped my acne to get less, but did not completely eradicate them, I still have some small problems (although the big painful ones are gone) and I’ve been using this for almost 2 months, so I am not sure that it is a permanent solution.
– The price, with its limited effect, I don’t know if this justifies the price.

I don’t use this for its intended use. I use it as an aftershave after shaving my legs to prevent ingrown hairs. It works very well for that!

I prefer to buy my skin care from cruelty free companies, and Paula’s Choice is Leaping Bunny certified. So I was willing to buy this even though there is a cheaper alternative at the drugstore, Neutrogena Body Clear Body Spray, which I’ve used before. Paula’s is $24 for 4 ounces and Neutrogena’s is 8.99 for the same amount. Both use 2% salicylic acid as the key ingredient, and these sprays do help clear up body acne.
I prefer the Paula’s Choice formula to the other because Paula has a few anti-irritants and anti-oxidants that the Neutrogena spray is lacking, and Paula’s doesn’t contain alcohol or witch hazel which the similar AcneFree body spray does.
I have found it relatively easy to spray everywhere I need to with this pump, even at odd angles to cover my back, and I did not buy a separate applicator. My only beef with this product is that it’s more than double the cost of drugstore alternatives.
So I’ll buy it again as long as I can afford to do so, just to save a few rabbits, but she should really lower the price on this item.

This BHA is not a bad idea if you have body acne. Still, you can take one of their toners and use that as a spray instead.
It drys fairly quickly, yet It can be runny and be wiped off on clothes.
This does not come with a seperate applicator to get those ‘hard to reach areas’. If you need to use if for your back an applicator can help but has to be brought seperately. Even then you may need to buy refills for the pads used on the applicator. Be careful that the pads don’t absorb extra product and waste the product.
It has skin identicle ingredients sodium hyaluronate, anti irritant licorice, Allentoin, and panthenol. The ph is 3.2-3.8 and it has 2% BHA. It can help with kp and breakouts. It has barberry extract wich shows up in the dictionary on her website as an anti-bacterial. I wondered if she means bear-berry extract, and if it can lighten skin, specifically redness? If so the levels are probably too low. The product won’t worsen redness though as it is non irritating. It can reduce breakouts and wrinkles.
This is labeled ‘fragrance free’.I thought it had a slight chemical smell, but some people did not notice it.
I personally wished the BHA percentage level was slightly higher. Because, my acne is stubborn. I also found that it has to dry or it will rub off on clothing. It is not a bad product, but I found it to be more of a luxury than a necessity if you have a BHA toner and a spray pump.
